Eyes of Sadness
"eyes of sadness"
within the eyes of sadness
reflections of yesterday swirl
endless memories are looks of today
outward silence differs the inward voice
only a fallen angel recognizes this spirit
for the eyes of sadness overshadow them
remembrance of moments never disappear
as the eyes of sadness takes a toll
diminished are mind body and soul
living a bleached rainbow of the past
enchanted elegancies await to emerge
with new impressions for tomorrow
the eyes of sadness change its course
