Frequency Holders
This phrase was first coined by Eckhart Tolle
Holding space with you in a seemingly fashion
I allow you to manifest your own reality
I dip inside your energy and find you, " talking"
like a babbling child, dying to be heard...
You bounce off me like you were a rubber ball
all I get is elastic energy ...
Accommodate, house and receive me as yours
for inside me there are many holding rooms
Go through me, air yourself through the window
of my soul, allow our souls to touch
hold space with me .... no words*

Today I am inclined
To be thankful for prayer of any kind
For we never know how a prayer…any prayer
might help someone when times are tough…
In the words of Meister Eckhart
If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you
that thank you is enough

huge silence
There is a huge silence within each of us, beckoning us back into itself.
—attributed to Meister Eckhart
it’s always there
waiting to be noticed
the fathomless well
calling me inward
into the heart
of the heart
I swim down
deeper
find silence’s support
how it buoys
how it thirsts,
welcoming
those who remember—
held by the depth
thankful, I bow

" When the Soul wants to experience
something she throws out an image
in front of her and then steps into it."
Meister Eckhart
Little bits
spin off like sparks
from a grinding wheel,
as if you are
being honed to fit
the dimentions of
an ideal, the template
of a saved soul.
Sometimes too much
is taken off, ground down
to where the will
is compromised into
a compliant automaton,
flesh stripped back
to gears.
And the lie is sanctified
as holy writ,
god becoming little more
than a product
pumped out of the factories
of earthly prophets.

Present, Future, Past
Mind meanders in time, defined -
NOW postponed by gulping stale wine:
Three vats: Present, Future - then Past!
Eckhart Tolle broke free at last
When recycled thoughts turn us mad
We gaze and chant; go gospel glad
Knowing Past-Future is fake time
Freed in NOWNESS, we re-tool time

A beggar had been sitting at the side of a road
For over thirty years on a box which was old.
One beautiful day a stranger walked by.
“Spare some change?” – asked the beggar and sighed.
“I have nothing to give you”, - said the stranger to him,-
“What is that you are sitting on?” “Just an old box, I seem.
I’ve been sitting on it for as long as I live”.
“Ever looked what’s inside?” “There is nothing in it”.
“Have a look in to see - there’s something or not”.
So he opened the box and it was filled with gold.
I was inspired by a parable from Eckhart Tolle’s Book “The Power of Now”.

Father God, as I look into your beautiful eyes
They are so brilliant, loving, kind, peaceful, faithful, and forever wise
There in your pupils are so many shades of blue
My heart and soul aches for you
I see the world begging and pleading for your return
I also see the hands of times turn
Lost souls and forgiving spirits craving your attention
Through your eyes I marvel and I can’t grasp the beauty of all your creations
As my tears roll down my face, that stare you give me such an inviting embrace
No one in ten gazillion life times can ever take your place
Unconsciously, I feel all my worries, pains, grief, stress, and anxiety suddenly leave me
I never felt so safe and free
Joy just came over my whole body, mind, and spirit
That look into your eyes I not only see it, I feel it, I can also hear it
As I drop to my knees to give you praise
Father God I love you forever and all of my days
The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God's eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love.

Listening to the Silence
(a tribute to the thought of Eckhart Tolle)
Unsought and arrow-like,
an instant happiness
speeds in upon the virgin mind
when all desire is valueless;
the choice of misery an incandescent now,
burning out without a warning, gasping
as an infant left to wonder
where the love is...
There is a way,
for there is silence everywhere to hear—
beneath the rocks,
beneath technology,
beneath the roaring vanity of lust,
and when the ear
will leave a space for consciousness,
there is an unexpected joy, impossibly defined,
a single-mindedness
that understands the now.
You are already on the path;
there is no need for time.
You will not find it anywhere,
but there within you is a strange one
that you thought you knew.
Sit down, and look him over
You have no need for clever thoughts,
for he is God...
and he is You.

The syllabus was likely to arouse
vain sentiments of a nobility
he never felt before.
Eight o'clock on Monday morning,
books and pencils not yet burdensome,
and down the hall, the classroom
where he hoped to be inspired,
would seize his body and his mind
and shake them, make them scorn
the adolescent scampering
and he still not aware.
How dare the prof presume to teach him
how to take his notes...
how to detect his nakedness
So much for sociology--
so much he did not see!
And that is what it was to be,
the years to dawn aware
of cavities, not knowledge,
wisdom just to contemplate in awe,
nor in presumption dress...
yet late that night
six tender new-born men
will sit together in a tiny room
and speak of Rabelais and Eckhart,
unconcerned about a rest,
surrendered to the looming day.
