Early Bright Poems | Examples

Premium Member vespertine

dusk settles on an Anglican Shrub
vespertine is downy down upon the vertical horizon
spring like frost is unraveling
toward a sunset on its late afternoon decline

at this stage of early-black twilight
a cygar shaped delirium is seeding
its exotic fragrance sweetly empowering
will linger until the crack of dawn

tenderly grown staked and supported
the poisonous angel scrumpet trumpets
a crepuscule's sundown into darknness
a pitch illumination begging to brighten

bathed in orange moire reflecting
by her petaled drowsiness unfurling
a day dream and a nightmare
time travel in tandem

lying dormant now in a trance
like flesh inside a nutshell
vespertine pulls away from early-bright
she's never this reflective in the sunlight

Birth Day

Magnetic sun drew me some unity to awe
Early bright with her might mirrored in my core,
Rising strong all along radiating gold
Let the day begin, never turning old!

Premium Member Morning's Fresh Breath

Early bright lithe and lively morning fresh breath,
Swish through and with a courtly, pirouette.
Breezing trees hear the whispers of their own leaves.
The rain's philter makes the earth surface dance.

  Near the river's edge ducklings splash in play;
Swirls break the echo moving surface song.
The day rolls up exhausted, nightfall slowly creeps
And nuzzles into the horizon once again.

In the Province

In the province so far away,
this heart wanted to briefly stay
for a weeklong good vacation
to enjoy the break of new dawn
with the early bright light of day.

The blades in the green field did sway;
bringing gladness to blue and gray
beneath the rays of the beacon
in the province.

The beasts in the mountain did play;
keeping the weak and sick at bay.
The glow above the horizon
watched the ocean waves in motion.
This mind had thoughts to think and weigh
in the province.

Premium Member Amidst the Darkness Crawls the Light

Amidst the darkness crawls the light
virgin visions of dim horizons plight
crossing on the dreams of nightmares mash
paid homage to the beaten past
awaken the view the waken beaten path
walk with me as dawn early bright
Amidst the darkness crawls the light

The Evening Light

4-7-2012 The Evening Light
Pour the evening light all over me,set me free,
Free as the fresh ,clean breeze from far up above,
Speak to me in whispers,of the midnight pearl,
So brightly displays as a beacon of who you are,
Count with me,the days going by,share with me,
Tomorrow's today,is a guide to the evening light,
Brings the rain, filling the empty hearted,
Widens the eyes of the early bright,
Hide not, your smile from the shadow of your nose,
Step forward,be noticed for what you stand for,
Sway with the leaves that sleep, deep in the evening light,
We will be late to our own appointed wake,
Hang on to life as we know it,here in the evening light.

Deliverance

Unarmed in shadows, slumbering
with unwritten rhymes,
collection of that first dawn,
wet with precipitation; I am

To hear your words,
breathless in time, with
white linen dreams, in your arms,
strokes of early bright; waiting to ignite…

Barefoot sitting near creeks edge,
the steady flow; poetry in motion,
in my longing, wrapped in satins blush …we
dance like flame, then…

Exquisite washing of peachy flesh, I splash
upon my body bare, Magnolia’s heavenly water
as my velvet fold that splays itself in scented smoke,
my ember; I give to you….

In the naked breath of day, with your
falling sway, I am but the grateful poet,
veiled within the wispy telling rain….. riding
a gypsy wind, seeking deliverance…

To cry entrance, within the kingdom
of your eyes…….

Premium Member Mist Rising

As I sit alone on this rocky shore. The mist rises around my feet and I long for much, much
more. Just to go out to sea and meet the horizon just you and me in our blazon. To feel the
salt water as we sail away to enjoy the beauty of this day in this very protected bay. To kiss
the rose of early bright. Maybe stay way into the night and see the moon and billions of
stars. Reach up and touch the loving God. The one who made you for me and made the sea
and misty shores that consumes all my lonely and tiresome chores.
