Premium Member Love For Sail

Love was in the wrong places
Out of luck, there'd none at all
Veered cross his eyes on faces
Ebbed men and numbers to call

Twilight drops an altered star
A Shephard field of lept sheep
Knight, armor, pixie friends bar
Ensues shambles wakes asleep

Time's that love takes a ferry
Id's was naught the main issue
Might next time there's no hurry?
'Ewes then fairies they'd won't do.

Thistles caught tweed bows untied
He'd seen somebody, seemed sold
Anyone, mind-freeze, shame; pride
Night shows, fine cuisine, digs gold.

Cautious, his are bottomless
And hers, plainly cupboard bare
Snaps, lest he'd be penniless
He'd share the ring. Ring bearer

'Tis times like this, hopeless
Help's on course, though bit too late
Entertain the senselessness
Need your eyes fixed seize your fate

Cruise control seems storm ahead
All deckhands, drop anchor --goal
Raised sails, prep boarding, unwed
Divorce, tagged chief walls, single

Aborigine Diggers

The warrior stands on one leg in the sun
And watches the British fleet drop anchor
These strange white men raise their flag
And the warrior’s land is stolen from him

Over the years they say the warrior is lost
But when Australia marched to war
The warrior stands tall again standing tall
As a Digger wearing the rising sun.

Premium Member Where I Want To Go

I'd love to buy a boat and sail the seas
Just loaf and let the string of life unwind
Drop anchor anytime or place I please
To visit every island I can find

I'd sail from cape to cape, from gulf to strait
Each bay and channel up and down each coast
My dog would be companion and first mate
Most likely, he'd be sleeping at his post

But every night we'd find a still lagoon
Perhaps we row ashore and build a fire
On first appearance, I'd harpoon the moon
And hold him hostage until we retired

A life at sea, beneath large wind filled sails
With peaceful friends, the dolphins, gulls and whales

Sail Away With Me

Well and I know these lakes like
The back of my hand
I used to like to be on the open
Waters alone the serenity made me
Feel strong but now after meeting
You I am a new man and now I'd
Like nothing better than if you came
Along and...
Sail Away With Me together in
The breeze of the sea let lose the
World and breath deep the
Tranquility yes and it is true I know
The best things in life are free so
Baby want you come along now
Come and Sail Away With Me
We can drop anchor right here
And make love underneath the clear
Blue sky lovers in motion to the
Waves a rocking' and a Rollin' pooh
Yeah baby and looking into your
Eyes I can see you feel the way I do
Inside I can't believe this is happening
To me but now I am a new man and
Now I want you always right by my
Side so...
Sail Away With Me together in
The breeze of the sea let lose the
World and breath deep the
Tranquility yes and it is true I know
The best things in life are free so
Baby want you come along now
Come and Sail Away With Me
Come and Sail Away With Me!

The Hollow

I am the hope inside
That feeds on tide and wind
 As ocean shores abide
 A storm's subsiding din

I am the joy that died
 Before the world took wing
Where cold and dark things hide
 Beneath a cheerful grin

 I am the vacant eye
 The black and gaping stare
 The vain and cunning lie
 That only truth can bear

 Where raging hearts surrender
 I drop anchor there
 As dying embers stir
 And faith invokes despair

Fishin'

I troll downstream; drop anchor and wait
To seize the day with just the right bait
I feel my first hit, a pulse one can’t see
Though anxious, I wait patiently
For opportunity to bite and run
In the struggle, break free and
Reach for the sun

Feeling alive with vision true
I see the shimmer. I glimpse a view
Tension mounts. To the challenge, I rise
Reeling and reeling, and then I surmise
This quarry requires less drag and more
line
Fighting, more fighting
I give it more time

At last, there before me, a beautiful sight
A trophy for certain...I hope that I’m right
An angler I’m not, but today I’m a king
If only I can carefully boat this thing
Then I heard a loud wail with the fish still a
stream
My alarm clock announced that
It all was a dream

Premium Member Ocean Dream

from the sandy bottom
up periscopes
from depths,
hidden in the sea
of thoughts,
through an ocean
of memories

scanning the distant horizon,
in vision
my rising sun
as my waters swell
a saviour,
my soul motions

drifting a wave,
dreaming
beautiful sunshine
drop anchor,
paradise with palm trees,

the ocean calls
touching beautiful colour
handing out
mother pearl,
this treasure
from deep

my mutiny
abandon ship,
lost
on this island,
alone with you

upon the rocks
on this sandy shore
I sit
holding hands

in the spray
of beauty
like a rainbow
colour of light
you

to romance
the very stones
on the rocks
that you sit
merman
calling to you
mermaid

In Balance

The world is always in balance
Harmony is created again and again
Disguised in the madness
Tucked under this sadness
Peeling at the corners, twirling mad with the wind
The things that are
And the way things are not
Defy all the control and continuous plot
The maze aint the same as the ones that proceed
Yet the middle and its trappings
Make you seethe with unease
You stand at the cliff, where the edge meets the sky
With your burning heart, pounding
You let go and fly
But you don’t- not yet
Your toes grip the earth
Why can’t you sink into the chaos?
Why not multiply your mirth
Your misery, pity-me
Your cry to the Divine
I only exceed you because I try all the time
I will not drop anchor at these murky, damp streets
I will not shelter my fears, I will gut them, expose them
Let them rot like raw meat
Because I am alive
And my heart, it survives
I will open my skies, let them bloom
