Premium Member The Disquieting Domicile of the Storms
Behold the abominable annals of the Storm domicile, A living, groaning edifice of lumber and bureaucratic despair— Where Allen Storm, the paternal prodigal of procedural pedantry, Treads upon its creaking floors with the rigor of a misfiled memo, And Betty Storm, matron of mundane mismanagement, Douses its sentient walls with detergents of dire discontent, While young Charles Storm, a cherubic herald...

The Disquieting Threat of Hazardous Blooms
I avoid those floral gangsters, vainglorious Gladioli, eugenically forced greenhouse Geraniums with their large Shar-pei heads. Garish claustrophobic chromatic mobs, their heavy menacing over-cultivated smells. Charles Darwin, thought these latter-day angiosperms as: “an abominable mystery.” They are life-forms born of missing links, genetically modified to eat oxygen, perhaps out of our human brains? Dogs and cows are immune to their deleterious charms, but we who are drawn to color...

The Disquieting Threat of Floral Hazards
He avoided florists, those over-cultivated blooms in their overheated shops seemed to be a perversion of nature. He shunned all those floral gangsters; the vainglorious gladioli, eugenically forced greenhouse geraniums with their large Shar-Pei heads. Garish claustrophobic hosts of peonies pressing-in and crowding his mind with a ballooning menace. His stomach trembled when confronted with petulant Pelargonium or the silent perfumed farts of the deadly Dahlia. Charles Darwin, thought...

My center inwardly trembles when confronted with Pelargonium posses all the heavy menacing smells of the over-cultivated. Charles Darwin, thought these latter-day angiosperms as, “an abominable mystery.” They are life-forms...

DISQUIETING MEMENTO Lone leaf upon the earth is red, amidst the mountain’s grief of dust. A civil war sent boys to bed. Lone leaf upon the earth is red. “War is hell,” the old have said. Why does it steal the youth, robust? Amidst the mountain’s grief of dust, Lone leaf upon the earth is red. 8/30/2017 Triolet Form...

Premium Member Disquieting Tears
Emotional rush when quite hearts tear leaving a void onerous to repair. Unloving compassion torments me so drowns benevolent heart to overflow. Hiding in shadows with a want to kill forsakes a doubtful soul to grasp this thrill. Understanding cannot be understood when selfish being declines to do good. Tears stain soft cheeks on a cold hard pillow flow out of control...
