Vanilla victories over inner wars,
Sisyphean speeches to oneself.
Tarnished trophies shoved in drawers,
endless errands placed on the shelf.
Purposeless projects of predication,
purport prisms of pellucidity.
Fathoms of frailty, falter the foundation;
left with inconsolable invisibility.
You don't see me....
you don't see me....
walking through life like a ghost.
You won't see me....
you won't see me....
alone is how I like it most.
Languishing lies, laughingly polluting,
crowing at my own incompetency.
Draining desperation, directly diluting
concentration and all confidency.
You don't see me....
you don't see me....
I'm here but I'm transparent.
You won't see me....
no, you won't see me....
translucently inherent.

Bounded by honourable hearts
Delicious dreams gravitating the mind
Gleam sunset patching life with brightness!
As autumn rain effectuates its pledge
While stars evince my inner desires,
I do believe.
Gazing at the blue sea reinventing itself
Advocating serenity in my path
To unearth calmness of life
I do believe.
With ecstasy and cheeriness painting my journey
Beauty of the earth gracing the eyes
Diluting grief to nothingness,
To stimulate me believe:
There are notable forces in life than hopelessness…
There is a rationality behind every drop of rain,
Love waiting out there,
And that I do believe.
When I perceive peace pledge – peace…
Starry sky hiking with confidence,
As I journey beyond the woods,
With adoration sanctioning the love of someone
Ancient mysteries concealing themselves,
Glowing recollections salvaging my delight,
Faith capturing the vicinity…
Sanctioning misty rains to grace the occasion, while….
Succouring me recoup my optimistic moments,
…. I do believe….

Dawn dissolves the shadowy face of Night,
diluting its image before my eyes.
And painting the horizon with Her light;
Dawn's reddish glow adds a blush to the skies.
Sol rises like a shiny gold doubloon
out of a sea of crimson and scarlet.
And intimidates a filagree Moon
that fades with the skies, no longer starlit.
Tweeting their symphony of the sunrise;
songbirds welcome the first rays of the Sun.
And from within my heart, I do likewise
for the start of the day that's just begun.
Nature's in tune with the strings of my soul,
plucking the chords that leave me feeling whole.

Once upon a time; hard to tell which piece.
Somewhere between reality and myth,
lies forge an identity lost on peace.
Keen bellows; hammer strikes unveil the Smith.
Akin; that prince slyly seeking the throne.
"Thus always to tyrants!" He blames the slain.
Raising cain, killing able; little's known
of overlords. Let complacency reign.
Let promised comfort lower the voices.
Rejecting the past; lesson in meaning.
Diluting verbiage; Alter choices.
Destined for slaughter; signal the weaning.
Take notice; an abolition’s at hand!
The abolition of Man; Master’s planned!

Light 1-29-24 Syllables checked with www.howmanysyllables
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Light
Nightfall’s hand laid heavy on fleeing twilight
While the darkness, born early, swallowed the light.
Driving rain clouded the eyes of pale daylight,
Sheer curtains of rain blurred tears in the lamplight.
A world set spinning on bleak winter’s wrathful wings,
A battlefield of ruined souls shunned the light.
Howling waves, without sweet dawn’s consolation,
Drove raving storm surges, diluting the light.
Tangles of downpours assaulted waning day,
Jagged dirges shred blinded lyrics of light.
Torrent’s heavy footsteps drenched the dying dusk
When cracks appeared in sealed shelters, leaking light.
Atmospheric flotsam clogged free flowing dawn,
Driving dams of old debris to block new light.
In this rain painting, where darkness battled bliss,
There stepped a warrior, rain angel of light.
The storm wrath silenced. Darkness shamed. Light in whorls
Opened wide a redeemed chrysalis of light.
Two choices I had, which life served
Fight it or take a flight
Flight was tempting, why else did I have my wings?
Death waits for me on either side, the archers being veterans.
I fly, but not as high
Fear of death burdening my back
I fall to the ground, the easy choice is gone
Death becomes my inevitable fate
Burdensome fear vanishes leaving a sore of my last mistake.
I pick my wings, I sheath myself, this time
To fight the abusive arrows, deliberately hurled
Feathery wings or Iron Shield?
Perception diluting their difference
My wings can be anything I want them to be
Today a shield, tomorrow an Umbrella
Protecting me from the scorching heat of evil thoughts .
Or a Life Boat surviving my inner dark storms.
Or a paint brush painting the empty canvas of my mind with awareness of self.
A non-impartial juror is as guilty as a criminal
He or she lies, he or she believes in lying
That’s absolutely illegal. I am fair and ethical
I believe in justice, the truth, not in hiding
Or diluting the truth with blessed water
I thought that our world was blessed
I thought that we could be and do better
Wow! Things are messy. This a hell of a mess
No wonder so many brothers are in jail
The prosecutors, the public defenders
And the judges will also be partners in hell
God is watching our moves and manners
God is listening to our spoken and unspoken
Words and gestures. The system is broken
It’s more obvious than ever. The Constitution
Is a piece of paper, right? I am saddened and shocked
That Favor is doing his tricks to steal the next election
Again, while the voters are typhlotic, aphasic and mocked.
On difficult nights
Hold your articles of faith
Closer to your heart
Trust the universe will send
Strength to you to see it through.
Practice compassion
Meditate worship or pray
Like the dawn breaking
Diluting indigo sky
Contentment grows by degrees.
Expect no ‘aha!’
Or sudden epiphany
But a slow dawning
Horizon colours rising
Pink and gold gently appear.
The sun comes surely
Though the dark was once deeper
As if permanent
A thousand small decisions
Will lead you into the light.
You knocked my house down while I was inside loving you
Oh….. I don’t understand
I’ve held you close to the moon
Under the stars and this is what you do
I don’t know how to walk with memories chasing me
I’m locked in my bottle for only a moment
Diluting the heartache
I battled and battled for
To be so torn
From thought to feelings
In a storm
Hear the sounds of Winter's retreat
trickling away beneath your feet,
gushing into a swollen creek;
while surging waters swiftly peak.
Feel thawing ice packs crack and break
as they shiver, quiver, and quake.
Watch cascading waves wash ashore
as time and tide play tug-of-war.
Taste the sweetness of April rain,
diluting Winter's withered pain.
Smell the sweet scent surrounding Spring,
subtly clinging to everything.
Though Spring offers no guarantees,
hope gets hitched to a tepid breeze.
And the expectation of Spring
makes life an enjoyable thing.
Plot that thought, borne of heart’s desire
Does love hue mark intent
Why for objects do we aspire
Diluting bliss current
Unless with love aligned
Divine wisdom divined
Ego tightens it’s bind
Be self-taught
Plot that thought
it's as though i untied the knots but am still tied to the spot
just because i saw all the tangles then untangled the lot
doesn't mean I'm not strangled and can handle the drop
or cut loose from the noose which connected the dots.
What next? Perplexed, guess still trying to digest,
vexed to inexpressed, cycles back to ingest,
diluting a consuming pullulating index,
digress from subjects mind filled to a flex.
address to progress but pulling new knots,
new stress through mulling over not forgots,
depressed with aggression and losing the plot,
a quest for understanding when found it stops.
days are a bobsleigh dive bombing at pace,
visualising the future yet seeing just space,
out of the persisting mists permanent state
realise I'm unsuited to what follows this escape.
I traipse across your page
dining on the inflection amid reflection
and amorous dalliance
diluting my soul ever so slowly
dipping my fingers into you
the scent of sentiment
I'm not like the bee, the butterflies
or the bear searching for honey
I'm a string
strung out for all to see
wrapping the bits around my finger
each loop a perfect memory
meant to last a lifetime
dip me in holy waters
cross my heart and kiss my sky
there's no fraying or temptation
just freedom in the feeling
I shall wander in your eye
SHOOTING STARS
Sparkling twinkling stars on turquoise tapestry
Spectacular sight brilliant bright.
Luminous fluorescent glowing innocent glittering descent
Cerulean dream and charcoal darkness to fight.
Hazy mystic misty dusty silhouette diluting starlight off and on
Tiny blue gems gleam in flash beam on starry dome.
Illusive drowsy dream to roam.
Sudden burst of shooting stats
sprinkling stardust on meteor showers.
Celebration of starry sky with fireworks.
Marvels in explosion.
