Forced Rhymes

A whiff of my kitchen, a medicinal pill,
the side order of rain drools at a windowsill.

An utterance precedes a service; the rumble,
the window slides itself shut. A bumble
bee ricochets off a glass pane
moaning louder than our train

of thought waylaid with bacon sizzling up a storm.
There's an anxiousness trapped inside as warm
as indoors petrichor's marshmallow mood
steamed under nostrils fused above burned food.

A swirl follows itself in a perfect circle
on a smartphone screen. The attentive middle
of somewhere where I don't know where I am headed
while time and place are forgettably wedded,
O lips lit up, no doubt, by the whitening screen,
words digitize what would otherwise burn green.

They're Cute At This Age

subtitled: The Bolder Boys (rivals of The Golden Girls)
written for a word bank contest - twenty really weird ones

Two graying seniors with appalling chimera
bantering back and forth - mental meandering.
Be it mirage or dreams from another era -
they diminish the other's philandering.

Fanfaronade - from high school boys I would expect
now it re-appears in quite perceptible measures
from our retired magistrate whom I quite suspect
of erroneous accounts of addled pleasures.

While his cohort, an erratic ex-engineer
relates with brazen gibberish his tete a tetes.
At one time more clear and swift of eye and ear,
on blogs they ordain to publish communiqués.

I have found no diffidence which they jeopardize
making harmless though delectable advances,
Noted but honest attempts to digitize
their forte, their skill in dubious romances.

I offered an honorarium of great size
for the first one who would divest his florid page
of any contentious items - to sanitize. .
Gaga girlfriends grin and gush. They're cute at this age.

Synthetic Stimuli Surfacing

Food for thought!...today~some Quantum physicists believe we live in a holographic universe...with multi-dimensional realities living side by side...and these multiverses only exist if observed upon...

Spurious spatiotemporal spacious synthetic skies

Contrarious curious conundrums critically compromise

Mysterious matter melding metamorphically mystifies

Nefarious neurological nilpotent neurons normalize

Insidious idealized information instructions immunize

Hilarious holographic hallucinogens hyperactively hypnotize

Various vector voids vivaciously vaporize

Delirious denurulizing defragments deceivingly digitize

Premium Member Fun: A New Way To Sell Your Poetry

Eureka, Shazam, the moment just came,
The moment came out of the blue,
Where all that I’ve written from deep down inside,
Can finally come into view,

I can speak out each poem like a poetry slam,
Poems you’d speak to the moon,
And digitize each on the new record app,
Then distort it to make it in tune,

And to give it some funk I’d add an organ,
And drums to accompany my voice,
Yep, a poem with some instruments to support what is said,
A jazz sort of melodious noise,

Oh wait, hang on, this isn’t something new,
Poems with some symphonic jam,
It’s what I hear on the radio each day,
It’s a song that is sung by a band.

Mysteries of Love

Love lives and gives glory in the cranny where you least expect
Although you search for love and her dove in all the wrong places
Expecting love to grow greener in your pantomime project
Where if luck lurks you reap and keep sentimental stresses.

Love smiles for miles not just for a while in a fondness file
But all the time you recast your focus on a romance round
Punctuated and painted in red or blue if that’s your style
Developed over the years until love begins to grow on your gregarious ground.

Love lifts your spirits if you digitize and prioritize her domain
Where love grows and flows to your heart’s content
Titillating your heart’s home when you oscillate as you say amen
Meaning love blesses your verses when you love at the right moment.

Love cries, sighs and dies when ego tripping injures the sanctity
Love deserves and serves saplings when from the bottom of her heart love pleases
Teases and seizes every moment you dare to preach sentimental sanity
In all you do as you deal love cards free of distress diseases.

The Law

It’s the Law
Hard-core ***** fans are split
That ***** stars by law must fit
Protection ore’ the length of it
Thus ruining the shot a bit

But techno geeks have now surmised
That they can probably digitize
And to our eyes thus minimize
The law that covers the big prize

The major downside they have said
The cost to digitize the spread
Uncovering it from base to head
And so this fix starts out cold dead

So hard-core ***** fans are blue
They want an unobstructed view
Some even say they want to sue
I’d say the industry’s snafu
