During the famous Des Moines rumble
Sixteen boys landed in a giant jumble
No one bragged for they were horribly humble
Soccer ball was lost in this mad fumble

Tendance Des Cohorts

Despite the lectures

we sought one another
love her like a sister
she loves me like a brother
I left the table gathering
bits of conversation
chatting with others
I learned she wished to marry
we joked about our status
and smiled when we spoke
of us together
She hunched me with her elbow
and told me a kiss change me
ever since then we were together
she really makes me happy
night swallows the light of day
under the glaring moon
hazy humid summers
a evening dinner in june
we wished to marry
on Valentine
on a cold frosty day
but the baby was due in
august
the moment carried us away

Des Nuits d'Amour

A fine tablecloth, Lenox china,
sterling dinner ware.
Tall, elegant candles in shiny
golden candelabras.
Un chantes, d' amour fill the
starry night that I can smell in your
heavenly hair.
The songs of Piaf and Aznavour
soften me, caught in this love-lair.
Massages and sultry kisses.
A sink full of unwashed dishes.

It's time we dance, mon trevor!
Blow out the candles and close the
doors!
So that, we can, in sweet silence,
become one with the stars.
Simply, gorgeous you and I!
In overwhelming desire,
to quench our insatiability.
Those glorious moments of fulfilling
our hearts' utmost desires.

The spirit of Robin is well in France
2023 his ethos advanced
The middle managenent break ranks
In suppirt of freedom for people in France
Free power supplied to homes and schools
Buisnesses hospitals spared daconian rules
The goverments farce is now under lambast
Reason has ignited in the mindset of France
Robin des bois, they play your game.'
People before profit thats purely sane
We can have both..' who says otherwise
Do we a want billions? And much genocide?
Many minds can figure, solutions and ways.'
Stand walk; march, improvise i hear France say.'

Buffet Des Chichis

Warren Buffett invests in oil
Bringing Climate Change to a boil
Earning profit is fair
Warren wants his fair share
And oil under soil will not spoil!

Pas croyable
La beauté

La prommenade à pied
Bon Dieu à nos côtés

There was a shy man from Des Moines
Experience-less but with coin
Dragged to a whore house
He said to her blouse
Watch out Ma’am, your bloomers are showing.

Interstate 80 Des Moines Iowa January of 1981
I was driving a new red Mustang with T-tops
I felt sizzling hot

Everyone ahead of me was inching along
What is wrong with all these OLD people?
I raced around them

I had never heard of black ice
And now I was its victim.
My Mustang flew off Interstate 80

I was upside down, ready to land on my T-tops
I yelled “GOD! HELP ME!”
a giant hand came down from the sky and flipped me before I landed

WHOOSH! I landed in a snow bank.
Snow flew up past the windows on all sides.
A guy in a suit began walking down the sixty- foot embankment to me.

His coat and suit were snow-logged.
I got into his car. He said “Lady, what did you do with that car?”
He told me he used to work in the pit crew of the Indianapolis 500
and I should have landed on my top. There is no way a car can do that.
And yet it did.

Premium MemberTerrified of Des Moines

I was terrified of a Des Moines move
To me this was a big city
I was from a town of three thousand
I did not think people would neighbor there
I had been to New York City once
During the garbage strike
Rats were all over the streets
with their hideously ugly pink tails
And their ugly butt holes
I thought I was going to be moving to a smelly unfriendly place
Being a small-town girl, I had no idea
That a bigger town is just a lot of neighborhoods
Where people neighbor with each other,
just like in small towns.
It was a tremendous relief.
And there was no garbage strike.

Des Betes

i am
sure she
sees beauty
in my beast

as i
see her
bestiality
in my beauty

but for both
we are animals
of the human kind
insanely not humane

she has
a camel toe
and i have a
cocteau

Premium MemberThere Should Be a Droit Des Gens

I think there should be a “droit des gens” concerning
stealing children from desperate poor people seeking asylum
locking them in cages, raping them, and losing them.
What is next? a reimplementation of “droit du seigneur?”
less farfetched now than ever before.

Droit des gens: French for International Law
Droit du seigneur: French for the right of the acting czar to bed
virgins of his country the night before their weddings.

Premium MemberOh Man I Have Heard of Des Moines

You are moving to a big city?
You will be murdered before you get out of your car
Thugs will take your purse and use your I-phone
Rapists will break in at night and maybe kill you
What big city is it?
Des Moines

Oh, man, I have heard of that one
I will be sending you prayers.
They have the Iowa State Fair there. True.
They have a cultural center, and an art center.
No way!
They have lots of pretty neighborhoods with large lawns
And oak trees and it looks pretty safe.

I will call my cousin and get back to you.
She has lived in Des Moines for fifty years.
So it is not so bad?
Oh, no. According to her, it is awful!
Do you want me to give her your cell phone number?
No.
