Words have power
Some can bring joy and excitement
While others rip open heart
That never healed cruelly.
Some people's words are just acting
Not worth taking seriously
Some fake it done with purpose
Some act truly in their heart.
Words differs in weight and meaning
Customary words down handedly in generation
It guides morality in tune and makes ones godly
It is everyday's life-saver and destiny's road signs.
Some people's words have wisdom
Take it as education by experience
Demoralizing words kill ambition
Some words are laws of life.

He is a cricker, I was told when I got to Kirksville, Missouri.
What is a cricker?
“They might be crickers, but at least they ain’t sheet-crickers”.
There is laughter all over the place. Now I am truly confused.
A cricker and sheet-crickers. Are they people dressed as ghosts?
Dancing in a summer meadow with the crickets?
I ask, and there is more laughter. It’s a private joke.
Not for outsiders, and I am new in town.
Anyone who is not sixteenth-generation-born is new
In Kirksville, Missouri.
It took me years to ascertain that crickers means creekers
Creekers are people who live beside a creek.
Sheet-crickers are people who live beside sewage.
They can kick sheet with their boots from the outhouse
It also means hillbilly and redneck, only more demoralizing.

"Each Day Full of Wonder"
Some see only,darkness.
Living in agonizing, useless bogus fear.
Not only demoralizing, but dreadfully frightening!
If you are blessed to have a friend that has your back,
Like a ship in a stormy sea, they will show you how
to set sail and tack!
He looks up at the glories of God and the sun!
He lifts your chin off the ground and tells you not to run!
A stellar friend like this, oh heavens, such a dear blessing.
Poet's name a dearest secret.. to keep you guessing!))
Thank you, dear friend for never insulting or deserting me.
A first-class human and poet you are!
I have learned so much from thee!

During Period of Pure Panic
During a period of pure panic,
My mind had become manic,
And realizing,
Demoralizing;
Each antic ended up gigantic.

you put me through a lot
Some things I even forgot
Making me think you are all I’ve got
With you I’ve been in the happiest
And most demoralizing spot
I finally noticed your plot
Stop being ignorant and take note
Its because of you I became a poet
My life revolves around every quote
You are behind every poem I’ve wrote
I’ll always give you another shot
Let’s tie the knot
Go to a place that’s remote
And enjoy this beautiful life we got

S Sorriest type of assessment
T Two answers always sound right; one is author’s idea of more right.
A Assumes we have identical life experiences, exposed to same words
N No one likes them- not the students, teachers or parents
D Do not guess, but what to do when you have no idea whatsoever?
A Assumes students have computer skills and typing skills.
R Ridiculously limited as to what they are measuring
D Depressing to students who do not test well or have test anxiety
I I believe portfolios are a better indicator of student accomplishment
Z Zany questions never asked in real life, strange vocabulary also
E Excellent grade for ten students per school, demoralizing to the others
D Depressing to the student who gets a low score.
T Teachers threatened by their students’ test scores, tied to evaluations.
E Every parent needs to say “No, thank you."
S Students are over-tested before the real test.
T Teachers cringe when they see their students’ test results
S Students feel badly when they get a low score

Suffering is relentless
And can leave us scarred
It robs us of serenity
And drops us in the dark
Pain can be demoralizing
Dignity’s compromised
Attacking with disappointment
It strikes before our eyes
Your body feels contorted
Your thinking is unclear
Your form is unrecognizable
And cowering in fear
But pain can be a signal
And warn us of the truth
While wading in murky waters
That we’ve been muddling through
Awareness then is heightened
And leads us to react
A new way we must conquer
To better face attack
We start to shift our focus
To deeper, higher things
And start to bring our purpose
To understanding that it brings
Some pain can be a blessing
To make us pay attention
And force us to get stronger
And live with more intention
So, if you’re hurt and angry
There is a reason there
Don’t dwell in being powerless
Stay faithful and aware

FIDEL Castro! the Diablo of Life succumbs to Death
Castro! the devil’s advocate
orchestrated hooligans.
Kept a destructive quest.
Turned a civil nation chaotic.
Death, destruction, and demoralizing tactics
Fell tears through the land.
Millions of cries hit the skies over Cuba.
This a cry that would never stop.
Endless shouts for mercy keeps climbing to God .
The terrifying Diablo lassoed hate into the children
and grew generations that altered this beautiful land.
This a man with demonic eyes.
He squeeze the air out of their lungs,
Without chains they were in chains.
burnt the innocence,
strangles those who oppose,
and drilled fear in the land.
Castro the Diablo of lives even in death.

To poetry she said good-bye
Now I live with a Broken Heart
Her words could make me laugh or cry
Or tear my inner soul apart
In a devastating Free Verse
To poetry she said good-bye
My inkless quill rides in a hearse
As an uninspired quill must die
Skat's words: an image to the eye
Emotions, feelings, come to life
To poetry she said goodbye
A requiem; bagpipes and fife
Read the words from her loving heart
Believing there's no reason why
An Angel of Poetic Art
To poetry she said good-bye
Dedicated to Skat A Respectfully submitted...Flipper

Ah, Sunset.
The sun sinks slowly behind the horizon.
As it falls, it crumbles walls.
The walls that separate worlds.
Freedom.
Happiness.
My love.
They waited for me.
She waited for me.
I leave it all behind.
Pain.
Stress.
Work.
Hate.
None of it is here.
Sunrise.
Desestructive, disruptave, draining, demoralizing, disgusting, dirty.
Dragging me back.
I have to say goodbye.
I hate to say goodbye.
Tears streaming down her face.
I must leave this place.
The rays of sunlight peak in.
Dig in to my skin.
I try to tell people why.
There lies a hollow look within my eye.
"Nice story, kid."
Story.
Story?
Story?!?!
Stories have an purpose.
East West the sun goes.
The day burns.
The night with moonlight glows.
The walls crumble and let me in.
I am only there to be dragged out again.
Why?

No
I had a desire to be a martyr to my word
To quench my desire for justice with the
Peak of my poor pen
To quash intolerance, racism, tribalism, tyranny
And quell my cowardice and my people’s
Stigma and egoism
I had a desire to be a martyr to my word
To break up with my people’s demoralizing jokes
That are ignorance and human rights’
Violation
I had a desire to oppose the patriarchal society
Of thousands of egoisms
With its uprooted self-absorbed traditional emirates
Hedged around with blindly and worldly pseudo-scholars
Who help to spread heinous racial prejudices
On the indigenous people
No to nepotism, tribalism, ethnocentrism, and tyranny
No to all the diktates of the outlaw
Who call themselves emirs in the republic!
