Fidel Castro Reincarnated

FIDEL Castro! the Diablo of Life succumbs to Death
Castro! the devil’s advocate
orchestrated hooligans.
Kept a destructive quest.
Turned a civil nation chaotic.
Death, destruction, and demoralizing tactics
Fell tears through the land.
Millions of cries hit the skies over Cuba.
This a cry that would never stop.
Endless shouts for mercy keeps climbing to God .
The terrifying Diablo lassoed hate into the children
and grew generations that altered this beautiful land.
This a man with demonic eyes.
He squeeze the air out of their lungs,
Without chains they were in chains.
burnt the innocence,
strangles those who oppose,
and drilled fear in the land.
Castro the Diablo of lives even in death.

There are things that we sow, and we do not desire to reap their harvest.
In fact, we might later engender aversions to the distaste we created.
But there is a fixed law that says, 'we reap what we sow'.

Inertia remains until an outside force alters its status.
Inertia must be a rarity in our vast volatile universe
because it seems that everything out there is in motion.

Commitment and consistency are always welcome,
But repetition that hopes for change yields a
sameness that is tantamount to insanity.

Dark, demonic, and horror books and movies,
I cannot abide and refuse to read or watch them.
To certain things, I must close my mind.

Our mortal being desires what it sees and feels.
Whether informed or ignorant of the actual cost,
Often, we do not desire to pay the hefty price.

I have an aversion to inhumane traditions.
Does it serve the few and enslave the many?
Is it demoralizing, humiliating, and racist?

I have an aversion to half-heartedness.
Should we not give it our all or not at all?
Sincerity alone does not make it holy.
And I think insincerity is repulsive.

Clearly, Hypocrisy has no winners.
I find narcissism most repugnant.
We have been told that fools rush in
where angels fear to tread. Some fears are
healthy. If the traffic light is red, wait.

Have respect for the ways of Rose as well as Ray.
If an entity is not broken, leave it be; Let it lay.
However, if it is broken, fix it now without delay.

Heroism is earned, not self-proclaimed.
Once upon a time, bleeding the ill was
a medical procedure that later proved
to be totally worthless and deadly.

I suppose that water takes the course of least
resistance because she feels that it is essential
to keep flowing. May we be conduits through which
God's love flows like an ever-flowing river.

"Each Day Full of Wonder"

          Some see only,darkness.
Living in agonizing, useless bogus fear.
Not only demoralizing, but dreadfully frightening!

If you are blessed to have a friend that has your back,
Like a ship in a stormy sea, they will show you how
          to set sail and tack!

He looks up at the glories of God and the sun!
He lifts your chin off the ground and tells you not to run!

A stellar friend like this, oh heavens, such a dear blessing.
Poet's name a dearest secret.. to keep you guessing!))

Thank you, dear friend for never insulting or deserting me.
A first-class human and poet you are!
I have learned so much from thee!

Premium Member A Cricker Or a Sheet Cricker

He is a cricker, I was told when I got to Kirksville, Missouri.
What is a cricker?
“They might be crickers, but at least they ain’t sheet-crickers”.
There is laughter all over the place. Now I am truly confused.

A cricker and sheet-crickers. Are they people dressed as ghosts?
Dancing in a summer meadow with the crickets?
I ask, and there is more laughter. It’s a private joke.
Not for outsiders, and I am new in town.

Anyone who is not sixteenth-generation-born is new
In Kirksville, Missouri.
It took me years to ascertain that crickers means creekers
Creekers are people who live beside a creek.

Sheet-crickers are people who live beside sewage.
They can kick sheet with their boots from the outhouse
It also means hillbilly and redneck, only more demoralizing.

Live In the Now

Raw emotions
Churns like oceans
In my mind's eye
And my heart's cry...
Is left unheard again
Where have you been?
I will not worry
I will not hurry
I'm just concerned and I want the best for you
My ego of I'm-better-than-you is thrown out the window and front door for you too

Constructive criticism is what I need
I don't want your destructive put-downs
Humiliated as it already is...this engaging greed, I don't feed on, for it's not a good flower, but a bad weed
Don't give me demoralizing comments that gives me unhappy frowns

I earned the right
To have standards of being a positive poet wholeheartedly
I fight the good fight
To have the aptitude and ability to move on to other substantial things fortunately

We went through a De Ja Vu with a touch of Desperation
Hey who are you to say that I'm an exasperation?
I live to be a true role model inspiration
I sacrifice myself for others' sensation

"Live in the now"
Is an Incredible saying...without saying I'm just saying
Somehow I don't know how
To respond to my endless, foolish praying

Nobody cares about me...or at least it feels like it from so far away
I'm so upset because I want the spotlight when everyone else steals it from me today
I will be stronger than they'll ever know
I will go where the wicked wind will blow

I want to refrain from complaining
No more name calling...self-sustaining
Arrogant comments are not needed anywhere
Refrain from driving me insane or in utter despair
Even if it's just a hair...
Yet, you still don't care
Strikes me odd really that you are acting Real Nasty
You're something else, unfeeling and sassy

I'm not ready
It's difficult being me
I'm so unsteady
Felt this uncertainty
Throw me your confetti
Celebrate my downfall with me
I'm an overcooked spaghetti
The trash will accept me possibly

If I ran far away from yesterday,
I would compete with tomorrow
I'm in this race together with you
I will regain the strength that shines anew

Freedom

We are sullenly mourning
For security from the demoralizing night
I am despairingly probing
For mercy to carry us back to our divine flight

We are all wishing for infinite freedom
We are all seeking for an abundant kingdom

If we are living in pure happiness, why are we so emotional inside and out?
Why are we painstakingly tracking down a getaway away from this mystifying dilemma? What is all this venturing about?
If we are swaying in the rhythm of faultless jolliness, why are we vexing about the departure of our best friend?
It isn’t in our control…so get a grip or we'll fall!
If we build up our friendship, we'll have wounds to mend
So stop your blaming and cursing or we'll be in appall

If we are all leaders, why are we panicking?

We are all leaders…we aren’t senseless pleaders!
So face your phobias and get out of the deserted state!
We are all leaders…we will not give in, vile deceivers!
Saunter out of sight, so we won’t meet our unsettling fate!

You meddled with our cries
So don't point fingers, you insidious devil
And forced us to believe your jaded lies
SHUT YOUR MOUTH! I don't want to consider your excuses, for our truth stands still

If we are living in pure happiness, why are we not meant to be?
If we are living in pure happiness, why are we battered and bent?
If I am living in pure happiness, why am I not free?
Could we ever discard this horrifying dilemma that pounds on us like cement?

We must act like a leader—tough and vigilant
Striving to survive!
We must mimic like a leader—buff and independent
Struggling to stay alive!

Disregard the mourning state;
Drive out the defiant enemies and make them face their damnations
So we can joyfully integrate and negotiate
You’d do me a favor to cease your supplications!

Premium Member In the Silence

IN THE SILENCE

There is a longing in my being,
Someone nudging, also speaking, in the silence.

For ears truly listening, eyes that are watching,
beyond the acceptance of an unnatural botching,

Away from the laughing, pointing and gawking,
voices debating, the troublesome talking.

It is a power, a force that's present,
a love that's beyond a starry night's crescent.

The dictated emotions that keep us from hearing,
many hearts are failing for the worrisome fearing.

But be very still and you can capture,
and walk towards the calling, your name in the rapture,

There is a most wonderful, Omnipotent Being,
a Love everlasting, belief without seeing.
In the silence.

Within ocean waves crashing,
a continual washing, forever set in motion, in a perpetual fashion.

They see and they tremble with vague understanding,
at simply God's doing at His every commanding.

They turn up the volume of the blasphemous drama,
to the youth of our nation with demoralizing trauma.

But In the silence there is One crying,
to save a lost world from an eternity's dying.

Salvation free for all, for a blood that's still spilling,
for the passion of our Christ, a price paid at His willing.

There's a truth of discerning, solid, and stable,
of a grace that is present, willing and able.

In the bloom of a flower, a body of water that's glistening,
the cry of God's heart heard by those who are listening.

On top of the mountains, in the sprint of gazelles,
In the roars of the lion, the ring of church bells.

Across the great skyways, there's an artful distinction,
clouds filled with His tears, for the mankind extinction.

Listen, in the stillness, the longing connection,
the loving story of an eternal detection,

In the first beat of the heart, the first kick of an infant,
the last breath of a loved one, a life gone in an instant.

From the miraculous, the spectacular, amazing with thunder,
to the smallest unnoticeable miracle wonder,

Listen, I beseech you, and you will hear,
a love heard in heart, and not with the ear,
In the silence.

Premium Member Wake Up America

Transmogrify the sensationalist
An astute ableism of absolution and idiocy
Divine demeaning meanings demoralizing democracy
Through persuasive procrastination and promiscuity
Festering fragmented feelings forgiven for failing
Jailing juveniles jealously just for jokes
Writing worrisome wit without witnesses to worry
Original orange and ornate operations
While whittling away wisdom in the White House
Tear apart traditionalism and tribalism
Innocent eyes are protuberant eyes
Observing awful atrocities at times absently

Transmogrify the sensationalist
That sensationalist is now president
Sitting on a throne of falsities and blatant lies
Reject form and comprehension of standardized realities
Garnish lies with a touch of fear
And it's gourmet for the uneducated
Saunter and swagger through scandal
All the while destroying those who granted you platform
Normal is abnormal and abnormal is normal
Forget saving the system we must destroy it
And build it back up from scratch
IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP AMERICA

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

Transmogrify the sensationalist
And even the devil blushes

Transmogrify the sensationalist
By waking up America

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

It's time to wake up, America!

Premium Member Legacy

Observing the realities of today's society
While contemplating the legacy we leave our children
Seeing only degradation of morality
And destruction of purpose
As we liberalize a generation
Making murder of the unseen child
Obsession of materialism
Exploitation of the human spirit
Not only acceptable
But encouraged
Dividing by status
With governmental repression of achievement and the repeated errors
Committed three centuries ago under puritanical rule
A legacy of blatant stupidity supported by
A not so supreme court of lawless
And a House of Misrepresentation
Promoting failure
Demoralizing effort and vision and
Creating entitlement minded robots
Of human flesh and programmed minds
No longer able to rebel only to accept what is, as is
A cry for the return of the patriot
A need to resurrect the glory
A reversal of the demise of faith
Restoring hope
An assault on ignorance then will become
                     A legacy of love
