Best Demoralizing Poems

A Demoralizing Good-Bye

To poetry she said good-bye
Now I live with a Broken Heart
Her words could make me laugh or cry
Or tear my inner soul apart

In a devastating Free Verse
To poetry she said good-bye
My inkless quill rides in a hearse
As an uninspired quill must die

Skat's words: an image to the eye
Emotions, feelings, come to life
To poetry she said goodbye
A requiem; bagpipes and fife

Read the words from her loving heart
Believing there's no reason why
An Angel of Poetic Art
To poetry she said good-bye

Dedicated to Skat A Respectfully submitted...Flipper

No

No
I had a desire to be a martyr to my word
To quench my desire for justice with the
Peak of my poor pen
To quash intolerance, racism, tribalism, tyranny
And quell my cowardice and my people’s
Stigma and egoism
I had a desire to be a martyr to my word
To break up with my people’s demoralizing jokes
That are ignorance and human rights’
Violation
I had a desire to oppose the patriarchal society
Of thousands of egoisms
With its uprooted self-absorbed traditional emirates
Hedged around with blindly and worldly pseudo-scholars
Who help to spread heinous racial prejudices
On the indigenous people
No to nepotism, tribalism, ethnocentrism, and tyranny
No to all the diktates of the outlaw
Who call themselves emirs in the republic!

Shadow Life

Blood, sweat, tears, sorrows and my soul spray from
my heart onto the canvas of my life. Pulling me down,
baptizing me in quicksand, suffocating, demoralizing,
draining my energy, disconnecting me from any hopes of
happiness. Years are fleeting, wounds still bleading from
the betrayers, the losses, the injuries, the illness, pain
that I have know.

Lonliness my constant companion sucking the life out of me.
I am too tired to fight anymore, I yield letting the vortex pin
me to the bottom where this journey will come to an end.
My words have no meaning, my mind is empty, I haven't made
a difference, no works, no victories. I am nothing, dust in the
wind, an echo, a song never heard, the canvas is black, no
color, no symmetry, nothing for the eye to see. I am nebulous,
a dream that never was, a truth never spoken, a question
never posed.

Obscure

Sometimes I sit on my loneliness
In a place full of quietness
and Listen as my heartbeat
to the rythm of time
And dream that one of the days
A voice trapped in my inside
Will come out as loud as thunder
To make a sudden impact
To be admired by the whole world
And free me from this
Prison of obscurity
I sit there and wonder
If really the talent I possess
Is the right weapon
To hunt for this desired success
And start to feel my confidence
Repelled by demoralizing thoughts
And feel myself a tiny star
tiny enough not to be seen
Yet I do not stop dreaming
Of one day being freed
from this prison of obscurity

Fidel Castro the Diablo's Death Christmas Again

Castro! the Diablo of Life succumbs to Death
Castro! the devil’s advocate
orchestrated hooligans,
and kept a destructive quest.
Turned a civil nation chaotic.
Death, destruction, and demoralizing tactics
fell tears through the land.
Millions of cries hit the skies over Cuba.
This a cry that would never stop
as even the dead keep crying
with endless shouts for mercy climbing to God .
Castro! the terrifying Diablo lassoed hate
into the children
and grew generations that altered a beautiful land.
A man with demonic eyes
squeezed the air out of the lungs of Cuba.
Without chains Cubans were in chains,
as he burnt their innocence,
and strangles those who oppose,
A fear drilled deep in the land.
Even the dead finds no rest.
Castro the Diablo of lives even in death.

When you hear plans for reactive justice
do you also listen for responsive mercy?
Or are you more likely to feel merciless revenge
against uncivilized behavior
swelling vibrant adrenaline
thrilling your self-righteous bloodstream?

If revenge is your best defense
against chaotic complexities of bad mad behavior,

If punitive humiliation
is this justice by disgrace
you deem responsible,
comfortably live by,
protect and defend,
then you will be an often disappointed,
and disappointingly ineffective,
parent

And would best and brightest stay far away
from anything in law enforcement,
militarized defense,
courtroom dramas,
and gun permits.

Advocates and defenders of justice for all
are deep lovers of intentions and behaviors
good healthy humored
seeking our not so bad, sad, and mad renovations
of white-washed purging rituals
including Society's eco-political purifying rituals,
obsessive-compulsive demoralizing ruminations,
ruinations,
rambling echoes of great and small transitions
quaking Earth's moral indignation
steeped in Anthropocene rape cultures
and pillage histories
of patriarchal justice
without matriarchal mercy,
much less Eartheatrical peace.

Justice without mercy
is like believing in love
without practicing peace

Like trying to restore a moral climate for love
without a maturing polycultural life
engaged co-empathically together

All guilty of anti-Earth transgressions
against compassioned innocents
of most every unmerciful violence one might imagine
inside inhumane uncivilization

Until we fall Anthropocene bad
sad
mad
unglad apart

To reweave yet another new inter-re-ligious
brightest and best day

Without such long LeftBrain EitherFor/OrAgainst
pathologically punishing shadows,
unmercifully thrown survival of the fiercest apart,
not yet fully grown Anthropocene together

Mature sacred and organic
mind/bodies

Anthro/Earth-Tribe polyculturally thriving
merry mercy co-passion full

Maturing polypathic peace
EarthJustice regenerates.

While My Pen Is Free

While my pen is free, I will write!
I will transpire words of truth on paper white with
Pen dipped from heart's crimson flow.
And what shall I write?
"Roses are red, violets are blue"?
My youthful "love" poetry is now far spent!
Maturity has now taken over.
What then shall I write?
What of social injustice:
Yesterday's "-ites" cloaked in today's "-isms"?
Shall I write of poverty and shame,
Oppression and tyranny's rule,
Enslavement, imprisonment, and
Murder en masse?
History is once again repeating itself!
Evil rulers and justices: "Tyrants" all,
Are sitting high and lofty,
Calling evil "good" and good "evil",
Demoralizing, demonizing,
Passing laws and rulings
Contrary to the Laws of G-D,
Vilifying and slaughtering en masse
Christians and Jews,
Babies, the elderly, and the handicapped
Throughout the world,
And without a public outcry.
And all those who stand in the way of their "agenda",
Political dissidents from all walks of life,
Are either silenced or removed.
"A 'One World' Order!" They say.
In their supremacy, they desire
To brainwash and indoctrinate the "leftovers",
Like refuse discarded.
Shall I remain silent when I, in the past,
Wondered how the Holocaust was allowed
By countless many who hid in silence
For fear of reprisal?
No! I shall mercilessly speak out
Against all inhumanity metered out
By evil tyrants' blows!
Go far from me if you seek half truths!
Go far from me if you desire
To hear words that tickle the ears!
For you shall find no such words written
Within the pages of my heart.
I shall not lull you to sleep
With comforting words!
What choice do you have?
What choice do I have?
The sinister walls of delusion
Have to be destroyed!
While my pen is free, I will write
And I will speak!
For I have found a voice
That has finally found its platform.

Premium Member Wake Up America

Transmogrify the sensationalist
An astute ableism of absolution and idiocy
Divine demeaning meanings demoralizing democracy
Through persuasive procrastination and promiscuity
Festering fragmented feelings forgiven for failing
Jailing juveniles jealously just for jokes
Writing worrisome wit without witnesses to worry
Original orange and ornate operations
While whittling away wisdom in the White House
Tear apart traditionalism and tribalism
Innocent eyes are protuberant eyes
Observing awful atrocities at times absently

Transmogrify the sensationalist
That sensationalist is now president
Sitting on a throne of falsities and blatant lies
Reject form and comprehension of standardized realities
Garnish lies with a touch of fear
And it's gourmet for the uneducated
Saunter and swagger through scandal
All the while destroying those who granted you platform
Normal is abnormal and abnormal is normal
Forget saving the system we must destroy it
And build it back up from scratch
IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP AMERICA

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

Transmogrify the sensationalist
And even the devil blushes

Transmogrify the sensationalist
By waking up America

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

WAKE UP!

It's time to wake up, America!

Frustration and Consolation

Pastor,I`m tired,I don`t think I can take this
anymore;it`s not fair to me as a lady.

I`m tired and sick of searching for job that is
elusive as rain in drought,
I don`t think there is a place for honest and righteous
people in this present world,
I can`t imagine toiling and roving round the
street for four years with a degree that does nothing;
Take or leave it ,It is nauseating and depressing,
This appalling situation is demoralizing,
Anymore of this can send me into abyss of no return;
It`s not fair for employers to be demanding;
outrageous demands,which are unorthodox to
professionalism,before given employment;
To me, the world has gone upside down,
crazy and cold...
As a lady,I can`t lose my dignity for a piece
of meat which is rightfully mine,
for me to stoop so low and beg to be defiled,
never!

Daughter,I know it`s not easy,please endure,
and have faith, tarry a little while.

I know that your present situation is tough and annoying,
It`s not easy for a dignified and sincere lady like you
in a lawless, corrupt and egocentric society like ours,
Please, hold on to your faith, don`t lose it
Endure!,for your heavenly father sees all these,
And HE will reward you accordingly and as soon as possible;
Have faith in Him that can destroy and create,
Have faith in Him that detests sin and loves righteousness
Have faith in Him that does not abandon his own,
Have faith in Him that has the key of life and death,
Tarry a little,He will surely surprise you and reward you,
While you are here on the surface of the earth.

Offering Serenity

mangled memories and misery doors of deception and doubt
one way in.... one way out

slumbering children awaken to reality and strife
into world of vibrational frequencies and light

our minds hover in darkness as our senses feel for proof
searching for the subconscious switch that inevitably offers truth

substituting truth for shades of shallow gray
sacrificing sanity as sensibility fades away

listening for the distance knock of oppurtunity
while we granny clutch the gears of spiritual maturity

the body weakens with every passing day
but the spirit strengthens as the flesh is torn away

as we grow old we are forced to believe in something more
to believe in something greater than what we are put here for

we may lose focus and sometimes stray the path
but our spiritual beings ultimately guides us back

the polarities of life imprison our minds
with chains of moral construct
but a beackon of hope flashes within the mind
offering serenity from demoralizing conduct

though we can not physically see... hope does shine
we only have to embrace it in the vastness of our minds

hold true to what is love and hope will play its part
while love paints the portrait hope will convey the art

thank you miss gwen for giving this poem a proper and honorable title i am really bad with titles i suck at it =)

Live In the Now

Raw emotions
Churns like oceans
In my mind's eye
And my heart's cry...
Is left unheard again
Where have you been?
I will not worry
I will not hurry
I'm just concerned and I want the best for you
My ego of I'm-better-than-you is thrown out the window and front door for you too

Constructive criticism is what I need
I don't want your destructive put-downs
Humiliated as it already is...this engaging greed, I don't feed on, for it's not a good flower, but a bad weed
Don't give me demoralizing comments that gives me unhappy frowns

I earned the right
To have standards of being a positive poet wholeheartedly
I fight the good fight
To have the aptitude and ability to move on to other substantial things fortunately

We went through a De Ja Vu with a touch of Desperation
Hey who are you to say that I'm an exasperation?
I live to be a true role model inspiration
I sacrifice myself for others' sensation

"Live in the now"
Is an Incredible saying...without saying I'm just saying
Somehow I don't know how
To respond to my endless, foolish praying

Nobody cares about me...or at least it feels like it from so far away
I'm so upset because I want the spotlight when everyone else steals it from me today
I will be stronger than they'll ever know
I will go where the wicked wind will blow

I want to refrain from complaining
No more name calling...self-sustaining
Arrogant comments are not needed anywhere
Refrain from driving me insane or in utter despair
Even if it's just a hair...
Yet, you still don't care
Strikes me odd really that you are acting Real Nasty
You're something else, unfeeling and sassy

I'm not ready
It's difficult being me
I'm so unsteady
Felt this uncertainty
Throw me your confetti
Celebrate my downfall with me
I'm an overcooked spaghetti
The trash will accept me possibly

If I ran far away from yesterday,
I would compete with tomorrow
I'm in this race together with you
I will regain the strength that shines anew

The Poor Wretch

Sluggish suppurating symbol of disgust,
Dragged wailing into a reproachful life
Child of wrath and sloth and lust
All she will ever know is
Strife

Curdled flesh clings to a brittle scaffold
Pebbled orbs recline in sunken hollows
Starving slavering mouth unfolds
Engulfs the world and then it
Swallows

Gawky appendages waver against a cruel ill wind
A map of veins slides beneath brittle wrists
Starfish fingers strain to hold at bay
An onslaught of constant demoralizing
Dismay

Ugliness lies etched in every curve and line
Defiling the beauty that might have been
Ashamed and fearful of her own reflection
She skulks in soothing shadow hoping to remain
Unseen

Lonely Girl

Standing still in a room to be filled, Leaning on an ever lasting hope, Stricken with horror her faith shatters, Slipping away into disorder, Screams of demoralizing anger awaken her pure hate as she stirs the aggression at the edge of the cliff, Each soul below her in this pit of demise reaches to grasp her render-less mind, Inhaling deep breaths of tainted air, Like rusted nails it slices into each muscle, Her eyes cringing in pain as she bleeds tears, She embraces her shadow one whisper at a time looking across the divide of death and demise, Her shoulder blades crack in despair, Screeching from fear her flesh begins to tear, Wings of faded rage rip out from her being, With a swoop of her spread she sores high, Gliding gracefully across her own kind leaving no sorrow behind...Her end...her time.....the last of her breath, her very death.

Premium Member In the Silence

IN THE SILENCE

There is a longing in my being,
Someone nudging, also speaking, in the silence.

For ears truly listening, eyes that are watching,
beyond the acceptance of an unnatural botching,

Away from the laughing, pointing and gawking,
voices debating, the troublesome talking.

It is a power, a force that's present,
a love that's beyond a starry night's crescent.

The dictated emotions that keep us from hearing,
many hearts are failing for the worrisome fearing.

But be very still and you can capture,
and walk towards the calling, your name in the rapture,

There is a most wonderful, Omnipotent Being,
a Love everlasting, belief without seeing.
In the silence.

Within ocean waves crashing,
a continual washing, forever set in motion, in a perpetual fashion.

They see and they tremble with vague understanding,
at simply God's doing at His every commanding.

They turn up the volume of the blasphemous drama,
to the youth of our nation with demoralizing trauma.

But In the silence there is One crying,
to save a lost world from an eternity's dying.

Salvation free for all, for a blood that's still spilling,
for the passion of our Christ, a price paid at His willing.

There's a truth of discerning, solid, and stable,
of a grace that is present, willing and able.

In the bloom of a flower, a body of water that's glistening,
the cry of God's heart heard by those who are listening.

On top of the mountains, in the sprint of gazelles,
In the roars of the lion, the ring of church bells.

Across the great skyways, there's an artful distinction,
clouds filled with His tears, for the mankind extinction.

Listen, in the stillness, the longing connection,
the loving story of an eternal detection,

In the first beat of the heart, the first kick of an infant,
the last breath of a loved one, a life gone in an instant.

From the miraculous, the spectacular, amazing with thunder,
to the smallest unnoticeable miracle wonder,

Listen, I beseech you, and you will hear,
a love heard in heart, and not with the ear,
In the silence.
