Bard Pablo Birthday's Song

What, in your own mind, you do think you lack,
Within thy sensational loneliness--
Truly energize luck and got your back,
To promote thy risk in times, coziness.

Then each and every of your lovely fear,
Creates the globe with an enormous home.
Surely, of a great deal, becomes so dear
A lorry pen drives where shining hearts roam...

May blank pages cease not-- thy gunny bag;
Supplying the pride of your heart with clues,
Pen punches so hard to raise the world's flag.
To place pleasing mags, setting minds amuse.

Your day of the year is of heritage;
Deifying your grace and works, great homage.

Nobel Lionized Matriarchy

Freely forming metrical mainstays
poetic occasion to phrase
the fairer and gentler sex,
thus the following turns of phrase
to bestow acknowledgement

regarding wonderful wise ways
of collective she who assays
to create safe/secure home/ hearth
as bedrock and fount of ample
maternal duties tiredly sashays

with keeping house receiving praise
the second Sunday each May, her
tired body sprawled on chaise
lounge, perhaps basking in solar rays
communing with Gaia, who whiz
bruiting with sky goddess

defying forecasters prediction, no slate grays
pose dampening effect on huzzahs
regaling torchbearer diploid as amaze
zing newlife, where loving labor pays
more than fine spun gold cherishing
offspring in her nurturing ways.

Paean dutiful daily deference, I dole
ensconced with pineapple getup
surfing the cyber sea, this hyperbowl
lee, yet deserved dignity deifying dames,
who bear brunt whole
ding potent biological reproductive role

de facto duty honorably decreed
tribute paid despite commercialized
money making hyped up rigamarole,
nonetheless yours truly accentuates sole
sans, progenitor of human race
saddled with disproportionate/ unfair toll.

Darkening Sun

Deifying themselves,
  the scientists disprove
  with their tools
  the existence of God

To sit on a throne
  artificially made
  the Creator to them
  falsely shod

They loudly decry
  as their courtiers boast
  about how powerful
  their laws have become

While built into their structure
  a flaw starts to crack
  their self-glory
  —a darkening sun

What Was

Dried up grass shimmer in the sun
Like fossilized corpses with nowhere to run
The barren land stretches till my eyes can see
Eyes filled with visions of what is and what could be

I tumble down paths strewn with skeletons of yesterday
Where my life was bright like a warm Spring day
When I was happy and contented with love and its mysteries
Love that led to my joy's demise and resultant miseries

The hot winds blow tunes into my ears
Of loving words that filled my heart in my yesteryears
Songs I sang and words I wrote deifying love
Words that now seem meaningless, like wings on a dead dove

The winds also bring forth memories of words disloyal
To love, to how I felt, that resonate with betrayal
Which led to, from my heart, the crumbling of your cherished statue
Words that you said, which slowly pushed me away from you

In this wasteland, I wander with no destination in sight
Waiting for darkness to engulf me and rid me of life's light
Stumbling against expectations of emotions that love has
Searching for what I had, Searching for what was

Song of the Sojourner

From far, far, away,
In this land so foreign,
Memories of you haunt me.
I pine away in craving,
For the feel of your breath,
Cool, soft and saline,
Fanning my face, gently.

Memories of our first embrace,
As I crawled on my belly,
Under chairs, tables and beds,
Crying at every obstacle,
Covered in your dirt,
In search of my beloved mother
My mind has clearly rebuilt.

I still hear your music,
In a tongue rich and ancient.
Your pantheon of masquerades,
Deifying great creatures of your rivers,
Each, called to the center by name,
By the voice of your talking drums.
Dance steps, electric and eclectic!

Though I continue to sojourn,
In this land across foreign waters,
Your gods, I have not forgotten,
Your traditions, have never left me.
I therefore make this pledge,
That surely, I will return,
To you, oh land of my fathers

Not Forsaken

.

in this din of urban indifference
let me hear again the throbbing
        of a heart generous.

in the caves of calloused hearts
let me feel the slightest touch
          of a hand caring.

in the self- deifying worldliness
let me rest in a faith forgotten
         but never forsaken.

Unbelievable ...

You used to scare me with your torrid schemes.
My mind was a parcel for your unravelling.
There was a time you'd play with its shadows,
and then you said you never took sides...
I believed you then.
Now, I know I was wrong.
You're not to be believed, but sung!
And when my eyes are wet, drowning in this turgid ache,
then I know that I've swelled with you this day.

A mass is a Higgs/Boson,
deifying this mysterious principle of attraction.
Keeping the stars on an ever course,
While I'm assuaged with infinite space,
you move in waves of eternal grace,
and now I have been created.

This day has mattered to one so swayed,
by your hammer of fate!
I hung from remorse too often for words,
yet you beckoned with tears and laughter.
Hidden in unexpected anomalies,
and mysterious mannerisms,
like twinkling eyes at the moment of death.

There is no use with human innuendos
which are crimes that make up minds.
No thought is made without particles,
you have ever before destroyed,
and no tear is without your
infinite recycled amorous affair.

My heart is an elixir of prayers,
with which I consort and hum,
Oh My
OM I

Faith Forgotten, But Not Lost

In this city's din of urban indifference
                and solitude,
let me hear once again the faintest
          echo of the mute music
      of a heart grateful, generous.

In claustrophobic caves of cold cruelty
          among calloused hearts,
let me glance at the haziest halo
             of a vague affection
from a hand that's caring, giving.

In a self-deifying mob of the stolen
                flame of science
let me feel the soft solace of believing,
              of being believed in,
a faith forgotten, but not lost!

Stolen Flame

in this city's din of urban indifference
and solitude, let me hear again
the faintest echo of the mute
                          music from a heart generous,
                             grateful;

in the caves of the cold-bloodied cruelty
of calloused hearts, let me glance
at the haziest halo of affection
                          from a hand caring,
                             giving;

in the scornful unbelief of self-deifying
demigods of the stolen flame of science,
                       let me feel the soul-soothing
solace of a faith forgotten, but
                             ... never lost.
