Faith Forgotten, But Not Lost

In this city's din of urban indifference and solitude, let me hear once again the faintest echo of the mute music of a heart grateful, generous. In claustrophobic caves of cold cruelty among calloused hearts, let me glance at the haziest halo of a vague affection from a hand that's caring, giving. In a self-deifying mob of the stolen flame of science let me feel the soft solace of believing, of being believed in, a faith forgotten, but not lost!
