IN CRAMPING BOWELS OF SHAME

Defecated bigotry and political rhetoric,
Constipates justice and infects racism
With diarrhea—dehydrating vulnerable humanity:-
Meanwhile, halted here in the heated air of agony,
We sad souls sit here crying in cramping apathy:-

Premium Member Getting wise to it

I hate that I let people waste my time.
They'll clutter my head with busy chatter
and I let them unload their garbage.

They walk away without a clue
that they have defecated on my peace.

I keep thinking they'll get wise to it
but they never do and still I say nothing
but maybe just maybe today's the day...

Therapy 101

All the things I've done has gotten me to here
And were I say I'm from I shed so many tears
And you to say I done let go of all the fears
If therapy was one

an an outlet
a gear

come sit a while and lend me your ear
it maybe static it may not be clear
a while I went in sane
I didn't know my name

bull headed lady
arrogant tamed without a game
use to Huss and fuss
 had not trust

folks use to tell mess
I had to bust
so what to do now changed my style
pen poetic justice

walked the green mile
put away now childish games
corrected my style
defecated my name

put you in your place
and took your game
what's my name
Candi G Cayne

All the things I've done has gotten me to here
And were I say I'm from I shed so many tears
And you to say I done let go of all the fears
If therapy was one

an an outlet
a gear

Dreams

Sometimes we look at the spread of the open sky
in deep awe and wonder
At times even daring to claim the sky,
like caged birds, we weep and tweet.
We look at the ocean, the screaming of the sea
and the river between dark and bright.
Where the dire silence of the river sits yawning.

In our drizzling doubt we forget we too are rivers and,
oceans that scream, seas that see, streams that scream.
We murder our own dreams at the end of the twilight.
We have, ourselves, killed not only ourselves but other selves.
We weep, yet told, “weep not child.”

Like anteaters that fight using their callouses,
and not their claws and wits.
We shrink and quake fearing evil dreams and nightmares. We ask:
Who will plead with our ancestors to generously pour their wisdom?
So we can know that it is not necessary to sniff the buttocks of a man who has just defecated.
And so we can know that we are the seas,
the streams and rivers that scream,
elsewhere and everywhere.

Lack of Privacy

Lack of Privacy

In Lisbon
Between parked cars
A man defecated
I wondered if he had
Loo paper
Probably not
I turned away
Drunk or sober
This was his private moment

Premium Member What Annoys You

Many things annoy me
fools are top of the list
you know when they make
same mistakes time and again

Or spout utter rubbish
just for something to say
no meaning or purpose
just verbal diarrhoea

Injustice of any form
really gets my goat
like a hapless victim
bullied for being different

Or a cat or dog being kicked
just because their owner
is taking out their frustration on
something that can not fight back

Theft is another one that annoys
people work hard for what they have
only to have their homes invaded
their treasures stolen or smashed

Belongings defecated on, why?
usually it is jealousy or plain spite
people who misuse positions of power
these and many more really get my goat.

Stairs of Nothing

.. stairs
     up of nothing
                                    wefall....
                                                   a willingness bending
beliefanddeath
a lonely togetherness....of scented candles and defecated dreams.
  (iyou) forsake
                       a solitary
oneness............................a tantalizing silence(encased)
.
....................................................................................in receptacles of broken glass,

the clenching fascist ......................................................alone.

Spies of the Heart

spies of the heart

open locked doors

find unspoken dreams

unheard wishes

fantasies beyond ones wildest imagination

spies

spied upon my heart

displayed pictures of my soul

found hidden joy

and created new scars

spies

whispered sweet nothings in my ear

encouraged me to trust and to feel

to dream of a future

they promised me the world

spies

spit in my face

they defecated on my dreams

laughed at my loyalty

turned my world upside down

spies

they are unwanted

unwelcome

leave me be

you have no home here

spies

fade into the distance

i dont want your future

i dont need your dreams

i encourage no feeling

spies

erase your hold on my heart

my life

my soul

goodbye
