The Red Sea

Testing for me my will to be, for you see I cannot see the glee beyond this misty sea of
despondency.

This misty dryness,
A fork in our path,
divides us like withering fronds with no heed to its wrath.
In the dreaded dry spell
Where the lost ones fell
Tender bodies lie upon crackling death,
Given up,
Crushed by the river they’ve left.

Swiftly god moves the rapid rivers of time, leaving us behind in the division we find.

We are left in the blind.
Our mind, that warm comfort it cannot remind.
Searching, lurking,
All values rewind,
To a time when we remember the world to be kind.
And we say, as if passed by relay,
the question we all turn to in states of dismay:
“Life is unfair" so why must it be this way?
The answer is imminent, we all know it well:
“Life is unfair” so get used to this hell.

So in unorganized formations we march through this hell, and if one were to mind a read of
behind, one might see where the river divides, where the lost ones sink beneath the red
tides.

Long live "The King"
gone to soon before his time
man, he could sing
he sang and acted earning every nickle and dime

His voice so diverse
he was absolutely one of a kind
every teenager was so immersed,
when he sang"Always on My Mind"

Young and handsome till the day he died
although there have been sightings
women of all ages have cried
you can still catch a glimpse of him under Walmart lighting

His performances stayed with you
as he sang"Blue Suede Shoes"
and "Loving You"
but i guess he paid his dues

Obsessed with drugs
he lost the fight
and lost his life to those same drugs
on that dark night

From a small hick town
all the way to fame
then he fell down
leaving his name

Gone to Soon contest--

Into the Sea

Although I can't find Death,
He's kept an eye on me.
At every corner another mourner,
Infects my memory.

'Tis with my grasp I cling to Life,
Her careless wander goes.
A game like chance she dares to dance,
About the grave yard's rose.

A breath may be a spirit,
Or so the scriptures claim.
But where's the holy comfort solely,
For all the breathless slain?

My cradle granted time,
Where Death first shook my hand.
Where Life's fickle bosom suckled,
Where the grave began its command.

Where no one thinks to see,
How pointless this must be.
Where the needle of time is a toss of a dime,
And your memory is lost in the sea...
And everyones lost in the sea.

For Chris On the 1st Anniversary of Your Suicide

I guess he lost his way when
he left the beaten path,
I guess he was confused when
instinct and logic crashed.

I guess he killed his brain cells
with alcohol and hash,
I guess that his insanity
held him firmly in its grasp.

Asleep, I guess his paranoia
seemed to grow and bloom,
I guess he sensed something
paranormal in the room.

I guess his blackened pupils
must have scanned and searched the gloom,
I guess he thought he heard the
icy rattle of the tomb.

He pretended to have a job, I'm told,
and daily left the house,
then sat all day in the cellar,
I'm told, as quiet as a mouse.

I heard that when she wasn't there,
he sometimes wore her clothes,
I imagine him sashaying
on his man-sized tippy-toes.

His insanity made him mad, i guess,
if that makes any sense,
I know his thoughts were warped though,
by no coincidence.

I see him in a fetal posture,
vulnerably curled.
I see him having lost all hope
and contact with the world.

I see him sitting all alone,
re-reading what he wrote,
a madman's twelve page ranting
in his sad and final note.

The Good Soldier

You cry burning tears
Over friends lost soul
He died in the battle
Not so long ago
Forever lost in the void
You so longed to close
Gather you courage
You must let him go

Daddy*

I killed a man today...
His future was ending sooner than he expected
I knew I was going to write about...
This man, father, abuelo, lost soul...
Lost soul, due to the fact that...
He lost his soul...
I think we forget that, that's thee only,
 sane part of our bodies...
Bodies, bc we are seperate...
Myself & I tend to disagree...
On mutual feelings...
feelings of what just happened...
I will never understand why you felt,
 like he had to leave...
Staying with us, may have been your...
Best Option...
But you opt'd out...
 Tears for you are presserved...
Until we meet again...
I will finally get the chance ...
To see you again...
In your greatest state...
Home with your mon & the rest of the...
World...
Curled in Swirls...
My body twitches... Especially my eyes...
Never again will I let my eyes see this...
So, as I watch this man, father, abuelo...
Lost Soul... kill himself...
I will remember the death...
of a great man...

REST IN PLUSH -DADDY-

Remeber

Music plays in the background, softly fading

The music starts to speed and her heart skips a beat.

She remebers moments she spent with you, but she feels so decieved.

You told her you were on your way the last time she spoke to you.

It was the last words, that become so clear too.

On his journey over, he lost control.

She got a chill that second and felt so cold.

She was so in love with him and had a baby coming.

She turned on the news and found, a picture of her boyfriends car,

upside down.

She will never forget the day she lost her love and her babys dad.

As the memory replays in her mind the day of tragedy,

shes sitting in the hospital holding her new baby..

.game Over.

ive lost the fight
with my life.
it's over
now im done
i need to go
i cant give in
so easy
to turn and run.
i search and search all over.
but there's nothing to live for.
look left right
everywhere
ive won the fight
but lost the war.

Immersion!

The day the thoughts dashed the ground,
Rowing ambitions produced no sound.
Where emotions paralysed
Only tears but had dried.
Everything had come to an end,
The tragedy could not be mend.

Lost!lost!lost!
Everything is lost!
Nothing more left,
With my unfortunate pathetic fate.

I have lost my child,
In the mouth of the ancient wild
I have lost my parents
The sky above forlorn and the ground snatched
I have lost my life's partner
Who loved, understood and compromised and was my supporter.
Seeping wounds of darkness dawned at the rise of the day,
Where in agony, anguish, misery and melancholy they lay.
Never will they come back.
From the path they had come, they have gone back.
None can wipe their everlasting tears
None can bring them solace from tears.
