Dad where is your soul?
Is it important, what's its role?
I keep reading of heart and soul
What part of me does it control?
Sweetheart it's hard to explain
It's not physical not like your brain
It is like a locker you have to maintain
Things about you, it would contain
Dad this locker, are you sure it's real?
Is it like sadness something you feel?
In my book, it said a soul could heal
I'm so confused, help me, I appeal
Sweetheart it's not easy to see.
Let's say your locker has a key
The key you share with God and he,
Can see goodness, your life decree
Dad my soul is it a religious thing
Everyone has one from here to Beijing
Muslim, Christian, pauper or king
It seems more than religion can bring
Sweetheart your "soul locker" is divine
For all those who believe we can shine
To see what we are, our emotional spine
Your God has the key to your inner shrine
Dad, now I see my souls true intent
My legacy, morals what I represent
I can let in religion, with my consent
My soul is the true me, that I present
You are my sunflower

You are my sunflower
You light up my whole heart
I love you beyond the sun
Beyond the moon and stars
Like a sunflower
Watches the sun each day
I will always watch over you
Come what may, come what may
I will love you, sweetheart
Always and forever
My darling sunflower
My sweet October blessing

My butterfly girl

You're my butterfly girl
And I think of you each day
I love and miss you so
Through all my tears and heartache
Every time I see a butterfly
I love it when it's near
It reminds me that you're close
And it's your sweetest message
I am struggling with your passing
The pain just ebbs and flows
I wish you could be back here
To give us a chance to know
What our life could've been
If you had stayed around
All those daily moments
That people take for granted
I know you're trying to help
With God's precious Angels
Their hugs and healing soothes
But can't cancel out the heartbreak
I'm trying to do my best
Keeping busy with being human
But there are days I hear the clock ticking
And I feel the time is too much to use
You'll always be my butterfly girl
And I'll think of you each day
Remember that I love and miss you so
Through all my tears and heartache
You're smiling down from Heaven
I feel your love and light and healing
You'll always be my butterfly girl
My darling sweetheart beyond earth

LOVING DAUGHTER
You are such a sweetheart, showing, giving
all your loving and caring.
Blessed and proud Mom, I am.

The budding nativity scene at Old Town Cathedral
adjacent Naomi’s Route 66 Diner where my fiancée and I
stepped into this morning out of New Mexico’s enchanting snow
wore an expression of preordained purpose
greater than itself and perhaps
equivalent to what itself represents.
From our shared perspective, through a fresh frosted window,
the framework manger centered directly in line
with the cathedral’s enormous French doors and their carved
significance amid sunrise flurries too intricate to clearly be seen,
almost as though it was an opened portal
unlocked to invite our eyes to another still locked.
Sipping warm-apple cider, neither one of us spoke
as we imagined, in tandem, our journey to endless unknowns,
both so mesmerized by possibility’s euphoric beauty
we hardly noticed the little blonde-haired girl
with a key in her hand walking straight towards us
whose first footsteps through fresh-fallen snow had yet to form.

Let me hug and kiss you
before I go
A little reminder
our love's aglow
I'll call you up
to say hello
All day missing you
'till I get back home
Bye Bye sweetheart
Please don't get hurt
You're my Cup of Sunshine
After a hard day's work
As a baby, love comes in soft and simple ways
A warm bottle, a hug, fresh sheet on which she lays.
The toddler, she matures, begins to fill her days
Walking so she can grab the toys with which she plays.
By five our sweetheart is eager to face school ways
The gerbil in her class never ceased to amaze.
At puberty, she's in that "I-know-it-all" phase
Any attempt at advice brings a zombie gaze.
When graduate is on her own at last all pays
She becomes a friend you happened to help to raise.
One day she'll say the thing that sets your heart ablaze:
"You're gonna be a grandma," -- one who's earned her praise!
My gorgeous wonderful Maa(mother)
My beautiful humble sweetheart
My trustworthy and loyal companion
My first love ,My Maa.
You taught me to be strong and independent
You taught me what humbleness is all about
You gave me wings to fly with my head held high
My Maa,you are my world ,my blessing in disguise
My first teacher since I first cried
Taught me what love is all about
You are the most gorgeous women in my life
You are my prayer,my most beautiful gift
My wonderful Maa
You took so much care of me as a child
Today you are my child that I care for
I love you my amazing friend
My most innocent and adorable child
You are my Maa that I am proud of.
Charmaine's so proud of her darling little sweetie
Her new avatar shows the reason why
What an adorable little sweetheart it's obvious to see
She's her momma's wee colourful butterfly
She flits between flowers revealing life's secrets
Discovering the new vistas before her
Exploring, seeking knowledge, and all life's truths
As each new discovery she unearths
This dear li'l sweetheart is momma's pride and joy
As proud as a momma could be
A treasure that is greater than all the world's riches
A blessed and enriching sweet dream
Charmaine's is so proud of her darling little sweetie
Her new avatar shows the reason why...

Dad your so insensitive
You need to stop and let me live
Not controlling me anymore
Or I'll sneak right out the door
Never returning in your life
Soon I will be someone's wife
So don't treat me like a child
Your attitude needs to be mild
Not obtrusive, mean or strong
Or it wont be very long
Till I can not handle it
Something in me he has lit
A bond is forming that 's not weak
My womanhood is on the peak
So let me go with happy tears
You've fathered me throughout the years
Now I need to fly alone
Your baby girl has finally grown
Wanting a new life and story
Your guidance led me to glory
Finding the man of my dreams
Impossible as it might seem
There's nothing to hold me back
Your little girl will never lack
Love, I will have lots and lots
From my daddy and sweetheart
O, my dearest, my dearest Juliet,
One day your beloved will come for thee,
Sweetheart, please do not cry and do not fret,
Dearest one, he loves you, do you not see,
My sweetest daughter, I heard your heart's plea,
For a gentleman to come take your hand,
Your every wish was always my command.
You stood there weeping on the balcony,
Your golden hair reflects in heaven's rays,
Your blue eyes gaze upon the rolling sea,
My sweetest, it will be your grandest day,
When he does come to carry you away,
Your mother still loves you, do not forget,
O, my dearest, my dearest, Juliet.

This was also inspired by my mother.
Because, she is always concerned about my happiness.
Thanks for caring, Mom. Love always, Your "Juliet"
Good morning my Sweetheart
Although you’ve got nothing to gain
Your love is as pure as the imminent oncoming rain
Wipe sleep from your wakening eyes
And prepare for the oncoming day
With needles and diets and timetables
No respite nor no time to delay
From pains in your tummy
And bloods taken throughout the night
I wonder at all how you manage to love me in spite
Of the pains you go through
You’ve a heart brimming so full of love
No remorse nor self pity
You’re my Princess my Angel my Dove
Though life can be cruel
And at times it can seem so unfair
The tolls that we pay and the burdens oft’ too great to bear
I’d lay down my life
And all that I’ve left that’s worth giving
To grant you a wish and afford you
A life that’s worth living
For my little Princess …
What a joy to behold
Always my little baby
Forever
a princess
You hold my lifeline
A part of my heart
My life time
you're so precious
A treasure of all treasures
To cherish you
with all that I am
An angel my daughter
Who every day
I believe in
You my little sweetheart
The apple of my eye
Forever my child
You will live with me
All of your life
In the heart's
chamber reserved
In a special place
forever welcome
My diamond,
a jewel
A treasure
I once held
My little angel
My beautiful daughter
At home
in the heart
With a father
Who loves you
my dear daughter is departing
away from my dark house
with all the candles and lamps
with her
with my heart with my soul
be brave and be happy my lady
dnt ever forget your daddy
who taught you to walk
who taught you to talk
but never worry ever
promise me my sweetheart
after you are away from here
just come to see me when
i rest in peace_dnt forget to
bring a flower
_your father
"Will you marry me daddy?"
The three year old says to her dad
The most loving marriage proposal
That her father has ever had
He thinks before he answers
This question like no other
He says, " I can't marry you sweetheart,
For I'm married to your mother"
Quite the dilemma for the three year old
Or at least that's how it seems
She says, "But you have to marry me daddy,
You are the prince of my dreams"
She's waiting for his answer
Like a balloon that's ready to burst
He says, "I'm already married to mommy"
She asks, "But can't you marry me first?"
He wraps his arms around her
And gives her a gentle kiss
Then tells his wife while holding his princess
You've never said anything like this
"Will you marry me daddy?"
The three year old says to her dad
The most loving marriage proposal
That her father has ever had
This is what my three year old Granddaughter said to my son
