Premium MemberConjuring a Mule Deer

Faerie fawn did not realize she was being watched I am sure.
With a wave of her wand, she conjured a mule deer pure.
He leapt in the air and took off with a dash down the hill.
In amazement I felt that leap; my surprised heart was at a standstill.

Premium MemberPrisoner's Reverie

“For a Prisoner, coming to freedom from the dank and dark dungeon of captivity is like coming into the radiant rays of dawn’s early light”- by Poet

Breaking open the tightly barred prison gates
Shattering the close fitted iron shackles
His mind flew into freedom’s alpine heights
To his beloved home where love nestles

What thrill to be united with his folks
They would dance in delight to see him back
How the day would be spent in lively talks
His children would dash down to kiss his cheek

From his beloved’s eye, tears would roll down
Saline drops of joy, so hard to control
The house then in great merriment would drown
Love’s sweet embrace would soothe his famished soul

Alas! He knew it was just a reverie
Yet he flew on wings of such revelry

Premium MemberSanta, I'Ve Been Nice

Whiteness falling whirling white swift volley
In the crisp hushed winter's cold bite degree
Nipping flakes light dark night body lolly

Gathers on glass pane quite liberally
Dusk begins to wane, relaxing white sea
Whiteness falling whirling white swift volley

I wake up with the halls deck with holly
Daze, dash down the halls, dive under the tree
Nipping flakes light dark night body lolly

Filled with light , I'm in heaven most jolly
I cheer on one knee, Christmas gifts for me
Whiteness falling whirling white swift volley

The dawn brought new-fallen snow. Oh! Golly!
Outside world cloak in white glitter to see
Nipping flakes light dark night body lolly

Hope Santa knows I've been nice, wishfully
There wouldn't be a single toy; yes siree
Whiteness falling whirling white swift volley
Nipping flakes light dark night body lolly

Silver Bells

Church bells announce the Christmas season,
as shoppers dash down city streets.
Upon deaf ears and deeds undone,
church bells announce the Christmas season!
Their silver curves outshine all reason –
Store lights, full moon, sky’s starry feats!
Church bells announce the Christmas season
as shoppers dash down city streets.

The Toothbrush Rush

I’m in the house, all alone
I know 100% that no-one is home
Without my clothes I crawl out of bed
Sleepy eyed and with fuzzy head
Turn off the alarm with a stretch and a yawn
Time to jump in the bath and turn pink like a prawn

I get to the door and pop my head out
Look left and right, and then listen out
Coast is clear, I dash down the stairs
Turn the corner and shoot passed the arm chairs
Race through the kitchen and by the back door
Careful not to slip on the floor

Phew, finally I make it to the bathroom unseen
By the whole heap of nobodies at home with me
Locking the door with a nervous giggle
What if you’d seen my racing bum wiggle?
One morning I’ll think before I come down
And remember to use that darn dressing gown

Silver Bells

Listen for those silver bills!
Watch kids wake-up with a rush.
Dash down the stairs full of mush.
Observe their expressions and eyes as tears start to well.
Opening gifts!
Jumping for joy!
Playing with all those wonderful new toys!
Trucks, boats and games for boys!
Dolls, make-up, and dresses for girls!
Watch them give their new toys a whirl!
What’s that sound?
That’s coming from all around?
Why it’s sleigh bells!
And something more…
Silver bells from far and round!
