The Dak Dak
The room is small
With spaceships on the wall paper
A narrow brown wooden table sits quietly under the window.
Dark navy blue curtains fall
With cars and red, faded rockets
A small metal chair sits on the slatted floor.
It is midnight says the grinning, frog faced clock
And it is the time when the Dak Dak comes out.
He waits, until the house is silent
Until the adults are asleep
Then he crawls from under the boy sized bed.
His body smaller than his large green head
With a single eye, he stares, unable to blink
Large teeth glint, with sharpened points.
It is midnight says the story in the book
And it is the time when the Dak Dak comes out.
Human sense, crawls up the sleepers neck
A slithering, creeping scary alarm
There is no scream in the throat
It is buried in the fear of what came from under the bed
Only rapid panic rises to its height
To move the arms and pull the covers over the head
It is midnight shouts father, stop messing about
It is tomorrow when the Dak Dak next comes out.

Around about will strike the moon.

To ramble on the turtle drown.

God gave me life
a family and a smile
but after he took my dad
didn't know why
maybe it was part of his plan
but it broke my heart
so the smile had to fly
then theft, violence and lie
took my entire life
Next i guess is the dealine
I've been beaten to death but i survived
Mum says i'm a deadman
others says tomorrow i'll die
For real every night i pray to jesus
but every time i act like the demon
i hurt my family and friends
Worst! i hurt my own self
in a mirror i can't recognise myself
all i see is a dark man, with a dark past
with a dak future, with a bad pass
i don't blame any body
i'm the architect of my own defeat
i think i want to die now
while writting this
maybe i'll already be dead when you'll be reading this
oh! suicide! suicide! come take me
NO! Jesus is Alive, Alleluha!!
I stand under the statue of liberty
Counting the red pennies
I stand diminished of all my properties
Even my history.
I am watching skylarks sky diving for bread
They all have long black wings
And they cry awfully, some say no one sings
Again. It's rap instead.
But what I heard had neither rhythm or art
And made my pennies fall.
Towering above me, on a cold, dak wall
Things just falling apart.
I stand under the statue of liberty
Its massive, iron breast
Stilled, as the shrieking skylarks dive and digest
Crumbs of cold charity.
The birds still crying as the boats go pass
The statue turns green, livid green, green as grass.
