TIME

Time heals all wounds
It's not going to be easy
But if you keep moving forward
You will eventually succeed
Weather you've been hurt through love
By A disloyal sibling,
Or a parent showing favoritism or a
Child cutting off a parent for a
Simple reason, again it's going to hurt
But you have to keep going because
We have no control over what others
Think or feel especially in these times

Love Remains

Love is not a lonely island—
not the silence between two chairs,
but the song sung in unison
across a shared table.

It is celebration,
not separation;
a dance where both souls
move in rhythm,
not apart but entwined.

We know love
because God did not shout
from across eternity—
He came close,
whispering, I am with you always.
Not once.
Always.

Presence,
not absence.
Bridges,
not walls.
Love builds roads
where feet can meet,
hands can hold,
and voices can linger.

But where silence reigns—
where hearts retreat behind fences
of conflict, confusion,
chaos, and cutting off—
even divine intention
is left waiting
at locked gates.

True love speaks,
stays,
shares,
and settles.

It doesn't run
at the first crack in the glass—
it mends,
because communion
was always greater
than convenience.

Where there is love,
there is the will
to be with,
to be known,
to be kept—
and to keep.

Planet's Masterpiece

When I let go of all types of people in my life
Little by little went the dissolving strife

Slow and more slowly crept in the peace
Cutting off that dead fruit in my life was a relief

More vividly and beautifully my days started to come
Coming back into me - the joy and sense again of being young

Age is but a number - in a world of numbers
Be one of those awoken and not one of those that slumbers

You can't help what others say and do
All you can help is the reaction of you

Leave the past behind and just walk away
Never believe those who say they'll stay

Never believe anyone or anything if your vibe and energies are off
Always trust it - even if making sense it's not

Keep alert with eyes open and maybe you'll see
Just what that intuition that day was telling you and me

Find rationalization in a world that makes absolutely no sense
Eloquently performed - leave no fingerprints

Be tolerant of others and their beliefs
Be the much-needed planet's masterpiece

Delusion to illumination

Drosophila melanogaster
Trapped in water bottle prepared by cutting off the top ¼
Turn it upside down into the bottom ¾ of bottle
After adding some ripe bananas, add a little water
Sit them around the house in some nice comfort zones
Watch a drosophila melanogaster go in, then be trapped
Can’t figure how to get out, well, there is food and water
Then another drosophila flies downward now two trapped
Companionship!! Yeah!!
Sex happens, food, and water, but still trapped
Eggs laid, soon many maggots crawl
How like human conditions sometimes the situation looks like a good deal
Trapped
Nothing takes the place of freedom
Freedom!! Freedom!!
That trait God placed within all of us
Freedom!! Freedom!!
What do we do with what we are given?
Well, that is entirely up to you

DIVORCE

Divorcing her or him can cause wounds
In the hearts deeply , while reminding some
Verses shared on the same bed at nights
Or after taking dinners ...as the great
Relationship will be off line for longtime,
Cutting off links with the one you loved on this
Earth , memories hunt divorcees for long periods.

No Sequel

Written By: D. Collins 10/12/23

Is depriving people of food, fuel, and water genocide?
With no reporters in Gaza and the world lets it slide.
It is easy to look away as if a slaughter isn’t about to happen.
The reason I know it so, is because it’s happened since 1947.

Does bulldozing homes sound like war to any of you?
It’s more of a scorched earth approach from my view.
All the photo props telling Israel America has their back.
Cutting off food to children! I’m not down with that.

What war crime could possibly put that to shame?
I can only think of one but won’t mention names.
The war isn’t about Hamas, but to eradicate the people.
As they snatch more land ensure there will be no sequel.

What is a smile, and why was it made?
How did we grasp that we should be laid?
It returns as soon as we do, and it remains.
A half-grin, a full smile, and a hidden gains

Smiles are visible and may persist for a time.
Sharing one is giving the apex of the sublime.
Where did they originate in the first place?
Is it a clear display of one's heart mood pace?

For what does the cosmos hold?
Your face is all I lack to stay bold.
Only your voice offers me such delight.
I can just fly if I view your smile ignite.

All I needed to view were your eyes.
Surely you didn't grip who I was in ties?
You were cutting off my iron gear.
Your bright grin blew me away here.

Who Will Take Care of Us

now

if we don't love now
fall on our knees, now
if we don't cry out loud, now, if we don't tear apart our clothes right now,
if tears don”t crack the stones, now
and hearts don”t jump like ping pong balls on fire, now, when we are twisting this strand of hair,
if you don't touch my chin, lightly, like a feather, lightly, now,
now
the gaze, fiery samurais cutting off our eyes with leaves, shattering mustard bellies, - in white webs,
spiders,
in the blink of an eye, releasing air with no shores,
no reins
endless, now
lips, hot steam,
in the blink of an eye, we raise wild rainbows in the clouds,
when? if not now, we caress the lightning with the tongue of longing, in the blink of an eye,
if we don”t taste the lilac in between our teeth, now,
when, and how,
and who”ll take care of us when we are angry,
tired
and
sad
and
forgotten by the world
left alone
grieving in a naive tremor:

- lovers do not meet at one end, not at the other, but
have always been in each other:

- well, well… but who will take care of us when we are old, alone, and sick
if we don't touch each other, now, like two people

Premium MemberThree Words Four Letters

This isn’t soft prose from a poet’s feather,
all the blanks  you can fill them in;
It’s a story of three words in four letters;

Trust me, never say never;
Spiking pleasure with pain is how it begins,
this isn’t soft prose from a poet’s feather;

You don’t claim that this is forever,
I come back again and again;
It’s a story of three words in four letters;

No safe words. What could be better?
Wanting your marks to show on my skin,
this isn’t soft prose from a poet’s feather;

Forcefully taking from each other,
giving and then cutting off oxygen;
It’s a story of three words in four letters;

Exploitation? No I surrender;
Intense sensation cannot be a sin;
This isn’t soft prose from a poets feather,
it’s a story of three words in four letters.

Looking For An Augury

Relieving from sorrows of ‘samsara’
Looking for an augury
Wasted Time is up
I will not close my eyes
Looking at the eyes of Buddha
Immersing in the
Overflowing metta stream
Enlightening the mind

Wash the dirt off
Awakening the five faculties
Taking the piety flowers
Blooming in the heart
Offer Buddha feet

Locate in Ariya path
Leading to Nirvana relief
Cutting off ‘Raga’ suffers
Wrapping my body
Worship Buddha feet

Fear I Have None

Asleep I go my eyes close as I drift
A nightmare begins to unfold in form of this rift
As the affect takes ahold of my sleeping soul
My eyes spinning in my head as they roll
This creature comes from the depth as I begin to cry
I scream and I beg please don't let me die
This creature so tall so strange with hair that's feathered
I plead I scream in pain as my limbs are severed
He takes my leg then he starts cutting off my arm
I fall into shock from the pain of his inflicted harm
Why are you doing this to me tell me now
He states its my time and his way is how
As I die on his table he says a prayer
Praising himself as the God of fear
With one last gasp I scream you have not won
For you thrive on fear but I have none

Premium MemberShe Was the Power of the Throne

She listened to him grovel,
realizing he deserved no mercy
she recognized him from another time
the court was watching
so she pretended to be considering his plea
all the time plotting a slow unnatural painful death
for this conniver, fraud, and freakish abuser of women
Glad to be the power of the throne now,
holding herself back from instantly cutting off his head
for she wanted him to have a very slow demise.

Premium MemberSpring Gardening

Raking out the garden,
Straightening the stones,
Thinning the perennials,
Removing old dog bones.

Cutting off dead branches,
Clearing out the hedge,
Burning all the rubbish,
Straighten gardens edge.

The air is finally warmer.
Spring flowers raise their heads.
The Tulips and the Hyacinths first,
To look up from their beds.

Next the Daffodils break ground,
Soon to raise their sunny faces,
And I rush to prepare the ground,
Make ready all their places.

Mystique

Veiled in the mysteries of light
black cutting off white
masked
a cottonwood whirl

of life

no debutanted call
you said left, I thought right
patience holding
frightless on an eerie starless night

your oceans brushing
about my tree
a sequoia rising high
above the waters edge

your wake ~ delicate
a soundless melody
that plays on for hours
and hours

in the breeze,
the gentle tease
the tide
washing in
and out
to the wims of night

the rustled leaves
a bed of kings

I, with you
in grave and height
stripping shrouds
shearing fears
climbing up the endless stares

abreast
a woodpecker pecks
an undressed nest
in piney wood

I know
and
I should

visions spy
her spotted eyes
true wonder
where halos go to glow
amid a moonlight high

there's laughter in that sky

air fills our lungs
creating a thousand soulful songs

we lay
contented with the coming
of the day

gorgeous as that may be

Tongue Lashing

Positioned in order to hear
Tales of tall thought’s taunting
Lies move along the palate
Lips moving in silence
Sounds traveling into innocent ears
Moving to the soul of pure heart
Twisting and turning it’s valves
Cutting off it’s brain from power
Unable to speak only hear
Anger raging within yet, a calm look
Frozen in time unable to move
Insults with hurtful sounds
Fear created by a fool with words
Hark! A listener from afar
An Angel sent from heaven above
Speaking in silent tones only one can hear
Matthew 10:28
“ And fear not them which kill the body.
But are not able to kill the soul”
Their soul gently came to peace
While the bully was still speaking
This gentle soul let these words travel
Into one ear and out the other
Their pain had disappeared
