Chemistry

She's the mother of all sciences,
Her kids are comforting and bright;
Sometimes stare tedious and gloomy.
Yet they're the remedy to mysteries;

She's from an environment of stillness;
She peeps simply and tricky.
Her scripts are twinkling and fair;
With her the Shangri-la is flawless.

Snappy she functions at times,
But her slab is logical and sound;
Arrange in a meaningful trend,
And It's the gate to her mind.

Glance! Her siblings are envious;
For she's everything they yearn and gasp.
Fairly, the heart of glittering facts,
Bohr's model cueing me of her sight.

Hey! Hurry up!
Leave that childish stuff;
Oxygen and Carbon need to welcome us.
Carbon-dating and electron configuration is just all.

The Ceiba Tree

I'm walking in the mountain range of Urayoán
Under the massive umbrella-shaped Ceiba tree;
The sanctum where the Taíno chief bravely walked.

The tree looks bright with a virescent hue of life;
Full of strength, an imposing specimen to behold,
It witnessed the struggles and strength of Urayoán.

Its colossal presence, silent, stoically stands,
Its arms stretched-out, locked-in with the other trees;
Its enthralling aura woos me to come in.

Leaves susurrating secrets as they fall to the ground,
Random leaf patterns spread alluring & cueing me;
They hummed & feathered as I shuffled through the dense mat.

The old noble warrior still fights on with its
Massive roots bulging in and out of the dirt
In an abstract ultra-slow motion, it grips the ground.

Seems like time has stood still, everything looks the same,
Time has stopped as a freeze-frame, motionless, suspended;
And the Ceiba tree still stands, living, striving and proud.

Racking, Fracking, Frickers, Dickers

Racking, fracking, fricker dickers -
there it goes again stirring all my inner jitters;
my pc, tablet, phone and friends
blank screens locked immovable in place again
while tweets and texts disappear in phantom space.

Techno blab excites me
and the mesmerizing call invites me
but searching play on the blank display cueing
frustrates my mind to forget just what I'm doing
and at my fingertips the troubles brewing.

It's a slam dunk OCD call
to play games and tweet within the web thralls
lost in wavelength microwave wifi
while communication stalls and dies
and that's the truth, no lies.

Curse you internet!

Drifting

I tied a balloon to my heart,
  and watched it float away
up up up
( 1416 days since your suicide )
  heading off towards Cheyenne,
( where you were a girl )
  slowly, foolishly drifting you down.

As you left, so have I,
  Like a figure cut from a picture,
  and poorly pasted back.
Among/upon the picture,
 but no longer, of it.

I shall put a smile over the hole it left,
  and stoically wait out this body,
  cueing up an "I'm OK"
  to club those who ask.
Hoping to not be damned
  with too many decades.

Because, I have learned you
  have not left me.
Every time I work at higher math,
every time I focus on science,
every time I revisit the place
we worked together,

there you are.

And the hole my heart left
turns cold and numb,
and I descend into (hidden) tears
and crumble into despair.

A logic bomb to blow a hole
  in my head,
to match the one in my chest.

Love ties us together,
  and draws me after you.

Wait up, dear.

Lead Me

Lead me to that heaven
Through those no- thorn greens
Where cuckoos croon;
Bunnies zoom on lush loam;
Apes clown and owls frown

Walk me tenderly
Under the bracing full Moon
Your eyes blue…cueing my line
Your blushing beams
Signing upon the anvil
Of an affair-de- coer
Lead me to that heaven

I close my blinking eyes
To shut the wakeful dreams out
I take a deep breath
Moisten my drying lips
I allow my stirring thoughts
Touch my tender heart’s brims
And again, my eyes, I open
To envision, aha!
A great mise en scene

Is this not Manasa Sarovaram?
The divine soul’s swirling stream
Of orgasmic nectar-fall
Ushering Into the dim inner shores
Of human organism

And I dive insane
Into that chilling lagoon

Where lustful swans swim
Sprawl, poke, provoke
And probe each other
In waters of desire

You tell me “It’s all our own”
This heaven, this Moon
And these playful swans our chums
Let us play together the game”

Then ….I……into you
And you….into me
Lead each other
In to that heaven

Surreal

Hear the call
Of something awakening
If for once the spirit draws silence in
Closer to senses
The yearning begins
Bursting into quantum of the surreal
Nature is real
Breathing life in and through you
But only from the depths of the soul to feel
Discover her
Her scent in the air
Lingering magic of the breeze
Power of the seas
Rainbows and butterflies
Crickets and fireflies
Every color and hue at sun dance
Turning at every movement
Whispering promises
Only at forever breaks
Maple and pine leaves
Let in your shoulder for a moment rest
Season after season
With the opening of the crest
Wooing and cueing
Like stars in the universe
Gently illuminating the sky
The moon beaming
Casting off light in every dark corner
Traces and spaces of the night
Collaborating with the sun
With all its infinite might
Casting eminent light
Melting stone cold hearts
Until free of the busy hurried world
Reaching for the embers within
Power in the most sublime
Beauty surpassing its own
Mystery never revealed
Yet tasting and feeling what is real
In the deepest heart of you
Creator whispers creation
A haunting masterpiece
Such gift of oneness
