There is a beautiful life !
but it was not for me, to be touched.
And that happy smiley life
some of you strongly clutched.
I hate it, then I remember in guilt,
that you can,
even with holding some sorrow so much.
I would have loved to run !
but never fought, only lost to sorrows,
and they got me crutched.

About midnight last night
I went down hard, crashing like a 747 into a brick building.
Dropping my paint brushes, water cup, cell phone and canvases.
Thank you puppy dog!
I landed on my bad knee.
The one I injured seven years ago
I weigh twenty extra pounds now
Which did not help
Such wailing and screaming came out of me
I began howling and keening.
I woke up road kill.
The dogs were so frightened, they ran off.
My husband professed not to hear me.
I was shriek-screaming!
I called him on the cell phone.
I fell over the dog and I can’t walk! I wailed.
He came out with my walker.
I crutched my way into the house.
My knee is bigger than my head this morning.
I am icing it, and in no mood for dog.

She Walked IN
Her steps trembling.. moves all tender
To walk In or Out..
Her purity….her lost splendour..
A jewel …
A pearl untouched ..
Of Joys unexplored…
Of intimacies all crutched …
A right to be Happy .. a right all abused…
Of a soul all free ….. of hopes all bruised …
& Thus…
..She decided to Fly ..
…On Wings her Own ..
….On Passions ..that no one could Buy ..

Crutched like so many sheep
in a paddock
surgery,chemo or rays
the hoped for recovery
or hastened decay.

of snaggled toe
ten ragged nails,
her bedtime woe
his humor fails,
oh, feet of ice!
oh, careless sleep!
oh, what fell price
for cruel Morpheus's leap?
to kick, a shove
betwixt linen's divide,
sore test of love
for this jaded dusky bride,
unspoken ire
with mantle clutched,
eye dark pools of fire
on pillows crutched,
sunset duel fought fair
with unmoved snoring grouch,
with lumbered glare
retired to hushed and waiting couch.

Behind the parchment screen and eye to eye Punch chided.
Who are you? Who is she? He’d point it out. You’d see.
No marionette with strings was he. Their paths collided;
Judy stands and faces his animosity
The play is writ by man and maid and staged to teach,
the right and wrong of woman’s position, our place.
Standing on two legs, she meets his gaze without speech.
What shenanigan have brought on this crutched lambaste?
Let us ponder Mr. Punchinell’s stance, his missing leg
let his two-eyed profile tease, has Judy been upstaged?
Stumped by the shadow lore, the punch, the audience begs
for the stiff-necked tirade to end her pick engaged.
Speared by humour, we see two realities spar on
with no means to run, the missing third prong’s a pun.

The frost like manna fell and fled
And after it so much was dead
Brown and shriveled the garden bed
We will increase price: all they said
But I saw the crumbling paradigm here
The crutched economy, the drizzling fear
And natures omen so dusty white
The trembling truth in open sight
Be not so stark the paupers scold
Lie to us too, defy the cold
We have country, let us be hold
Though from pole to pole thunders roll
My faith is in God, not what transpires here
The coming kingdom and its Christ now draws near
From flood to famine I see all
Earth's demise and the human gall.

Unearned breath is deposited in to my flesh; I am awake
my eyes are open and are able to view another day.
my limbs allow my walk without crutched assistance,
from my mouth flow my words with no hesitance.
I do not have to stress over food, clothing, or bills,
nor do i doubt any sickness I have, you will heal.
i cannot unerstand why you love me so much
i do not mean a thing without your guiding touch.
