N/A Bummer LOL
Start of spring a fount of
petals drops to the ground
dressing the green. A wink
of amorous scene of
a warm life draped in dreams
hued in cherry blossoms.

The sky falls with the snapped strings of stars
like the fragile kaleidoscope of broken dreams.
I write then lyrics of the sunburst dawn,
paint the day in colors of unfaded hope.
Spectrum resonates with the melody of heart,
I sing the song of beautiful life in silent twilight.

Young men must often choose right or wrong
Choices are between joy or sorrow
Ah, and the memories short or long
Live for today or for tomorrow
When a red dress is looking sublime
The rules get fuzzy at closing time

As the moon steals the skies from the sun
And the stars twinkle way up above
I wonder will I ever find that one
who can share an undying love

Passionate nostalgia of our last embrace,
the way we fervently shaped to each other -
is as bittersweet
as the wildflower pressed between a love story’s pages.

In chain-link of night
that beckons trees to crawl
stale the wink of stars inked by tears,
holding her captive within sweet
time’s passage,as his farewell voice
chafes a widowed skin;
and a body wrought from need
of safe refuge denied by rain,
pierces curved bones
while traces of evening pale follows
her gait quite slow as tresses bow,
on aisles of candles waning
till maiden veil slips on arms,
prized keepsake treasured well
on anniversary spent alone.
