My Sensible Heart

My sensible heart
It keeps me alive
My head commands me -
There’s no other way out
When everything crumbles
When I'm lost
I think I’ll never be found
My sensible heart
It keeps me alive
My life starts to unravel
My head starts to spiral
My faults start to surface
I want everything to - stop
but
My sensible heart
It keeps me alive

Confliction

Balancing midst them both, two lives at once.
Split down the middle and torn at the seams.
Tiptoe the balance beam, pleasing the ones
who know only one side of things.

Confliction, a way of life down to the core.
From every angle, two people ‘twould seem.
Not yet discovered a way to be more,
so both lives are not but a dream.

Illusions, acts on stage, fulfilling roles.
Wondering how it would be.
Letting it melt to one, fill in the holes,
and finally just become me.

I wish it were simply that simple to do,
but both sides are set in their way,
and fully expect me to be the one who
they need at the end of the day.

But only so far can a double life go
before the stretch tears you in two.
And you cannot hide the blood, everyone knows…
but no one knows quite what to do.

Bird In Cage

Trying to hide myself
In a cage likes a bird
Having all the beautiful things
With no risks and worries
At the cost of my happyness
And for the happiness of my loved ones
Like the bird
Which want to fly in the sky
But don't want to leave loved ones behind
Who is unable to choose between them
Seeing the sky with big smile
With spark of dreams in eyes .

Confliction

You look to my writing, though the reason unsure.
Can we stop the fighting, and travel to a place we once were.
You say this isn’t the end, though it feels that way.
Our happiness to tend, though mine went away.
I’ve been lost for so long, I’ve been missing for years.
I realized where it went wrong, have you been fighting your tears?
I’ve heard your plan, and I’m willing to listen.
I know I can, I know we’ll glisten.
With another chance, with another round,
We’ll take the stance, nirvana bound.
I’ve told you my feeling, I’ve let go my voice.
Though after this healing, it remains your choice.
Daydreaming of a new dawn, daydreams of a passion near.
Our chance for love bygone, though I’m full of fear.
If you choose to stay, if you choose to try again.
We will find the way, a road to zen.
I’m wishing you the best, hoping for a future of bright.
It’s now time for a rest, dreaming of long ago nights.

Confliction of Casey

Casey Anthony
looks as conflicted as the
evidence given

Confliction

If one seeks evil
then evil he shall find,
and if he looks for good,
he will see it all around.
Try to find the middle.
Smile and envy the children at play.
Admire the one who hits a home run,
then remember you hated those guys
in high school,
then pity the poor bastard
for the fresh black eye
that he received from his drunken father.
It looks like God's eye
peeking through a storm cloud.
