The rustling of leaves interplays with the ocean breeze,
as traces of moonlight escape through blackout curtains hanging from steel rods.
Bolts of illumination highlight stacks of books caked in dust,
while a man, decrepit with age, sits on a worn auburn-coloured leather chair.
His balding hair is grey from years of turmoil.
Wrinkles lay heavy, nestled deep within his face,
exposing the fragility in his demeanor.
Placed before him: stark white paper and a singular obsidian pen.
Removing his wire-thin spectacles, he wipes them gingerly with his nightshirt
and returns them safely to perch on his sunken cheeks.
Ruminating words flood through his mind
as he picks up the pen with his slender fingers.
The grandfather clock approaches three in the morning to the left of him,
reminding him that time is not on his side.
Scribbling fragments of what he can remember on the paper,
his last will and testament begins to unfold—
final wishes interwoven with untold life stories.
Loneliness weighs heavy in his heart
as the wavering flames of his existence extinguish
with his concluding pen strokes.

the future as Irony

The Future as Irony

If we try to look ahead, say ten years when ex-president Trump sits in a cell in Arizona sent by Elon Musk, who rules the world and has an army of all-seeing AI officials, people will wonder why Trump lived that long, living on burgers and Pepsi Cola, concluding it is a long-life diet they too must live by to become very old.
They don’t know that Elon Musk, the Titan planted a chip in Trump’s brain to keep him alive showing us he has no hard feelings against the man, who got him sacked in 2025 from a job he had taken delight in because there had been many protests from other wealthy people, who the truth was told about their thieving.
Elon Musk is a remarkable man, he puts on a false beard, puts in old clothes and pretends he is poor, walks into cafés, asks for a burger and coffee, if the staff refuses to serve the poor man food, Elon Musk reviles himself and fire the staff who has to beg for food to survive as a moral lesson, the chart-savvy people applauded him

                             With a single step
for this new chapter in life
                             Focus on future -
                             can some times be difficult
A turning point ... that matters

                             Some concluding thoughts
                             as the year changes numbers
From old to a new -
take lessons from the old year
                             - don't have pebbles in your shoes

Silent Lullabies

Did silent lullabies make you fall asleep peacefully
while some child of your blood squealed in his cradle: He was left alone.
He wished you had stayed longer
and yearned for a better life.
You gave him promises,
You gave him hopes,
But none of those came true
Until he realized it was a hoax.

Did you think he misjudged the situation,
concluding you were not a good example?
Contrary to your proud wife’s opinions,
You are the delight: A source of joy.
So tell the boy he is wrong.
You might love how things went downhill for him when you left.
He thought that you enjoyed it.

He had a lot of questions to ask,
But no one from his clan wanted to answer his confusions:
“Why is life getting more eccentric as time passes?”
“Why did you leave him so soon?”
Do you know that his pain gradually worsens each year?
It drives him to the depths of delusion.

Still, he hoped to celebrate this day,
But he could not find a reason to say, “Happy Father’s Day.”
All he thinks about is…
You are not a good father.
Never were, Never will be tomorrow,
Not even in his midnight musings.

Premium MemberFLYING WHEELCHAIR

“Let’s fly together
I’m the pilot; you’re the stewardess…”
Such is articulated by my special child!

Thus, we soar beyond clouds
inside his wheelchair-turned space craft.

Devoid of wings, there we zoom
toward the stars
enthralled by celestial bodies
midst triumphant glee.

Exploring freedom with zest
we bow gratefully to God
praising Him midst miracles
acknowledging His specialization
for impossibilities*...

Concluding our journey
we meet angels of sweet kindness
ready to distribute heavenly goodies
for well-wishers in the orphanage.

*Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Premium MemberAmethyst Auroras

There's a cloned avatar of the mystical moon
for dreamers in search of a beaming wave
amidst alienated alliterations,
waltzing in zig-zag within my cyborg mind.

I still find neon lights,
that teleport rhyme-less runes
to a realm of subtracted sorrow,
concluding splitting seconds
within divided despair.

Yet, when midnight melancholy multiplies,
murky minutes turn into jumbled jargon.
And Venus emanates clusters of sparkling rays,
flipping letters into endless equations
with amethyst auroras.

So tonight, I'll dance like a flying saucer~
to the magnetic tunes of swirling sapphires,
cosmically cruising above the cyber
canvas of accelerated dreams.

Premium MemberIn the evening hour, when silvery tears embroider your delicate cheek

In the evening hour, when silvery tears embroider your delicate cheek,
The celestial blue from the depth of your eyes, lost stars,
Gently rest upon the tender altar of love that binds us,
A fragile bridge suspended between the white peace of summer and the tumultuous heart of autumn.
We thirstily drink the mysterious elixir, a nectar not even the gods have dreamt of,
Plunging into the hesitant echo of a prelude to an unimaginable end,
Reflecting our lives like in a crystal within the murky and deep waters,
Slyly we nourish our beings, hurried to heal from the eternal hunger for love.
The night scatters stars across the firmament, shyly announcing the coming of dawn,
And somewhere, in this vast cosmic theater, I softly surrender in your arms,
A tableau of dreams, concluding my saga in the all-powerful love that envelops us.

Leaves On a Stream

They tell me to let it go
Thoughts leaves on a stream
In the grove of trees
Lies my willow golden
Blown by winds and rain
By a reaching brook
Leaves butterflies descending
Pacific take these wings
In each leaf that falls
Lies a thought disowned
My soul hoping to lay down
On a raft of fallen leaves
I let go of all my precious
Till I am bare in winter
The seasons concluding
My chiffon hair denuded
Pointless to hold summer
When leaves on a stream fall
Carry all my failures away
Carry all my forgiveness
Till only branches remain
A weeping skeleton bereft
In the grove the axe swings
Seeds for the new year adrift
Far and near hibernating
My seeds herald the way
To the ocean we all go
Leaves on a stream churn
Branches cut from the trunk
The last stem won’t let go
Let me hold on to one more
My dress too bare to bear
Winter is the axe man
In the autumn of youth
I hold on to leaves leaving
Ashamed of bare branches
In the grove of trees
In the autumnal gold
We will all be sticks
Set the last thought free
Rest my soul on it
However precious
Embrace the cut
Ride to the ocean
Without dressing
Without a thought

Premium MemberThey

Who are THEY?
they are who are they are who they
Are who are they.
Their dastardly diabolical deeds of
 disastrous devastation destroying all
Innocent concrete connected
Continental communities of cousins.
All of those nefarious negotiations
With no notions of nations they
Collude conspire cumulatively
Compute all commotion concluding
Chaotically. They caused
Catastrophic conundrums
Correlating complete cataclysmic
Conflagration capitalizing on
Continuous calculations consuming
And condemning. So ceeze the
Crime it's your shine in time!

Premium MemberSmelling Delight In the Morning

Grateful to God* for deliverance from anosmia
I praise Him for the pleasant breath of life
midst jubilant smelling optimization
oozing with wondrous delights...

On a restful day of redolent vibrancy, my nose is greeted
by minty scent of my special child's shampoo
with citrus body wash along bubble gum-cologne
and refreshing baby powder after his bathing spree...

Oh, I enjoy the aroma of steamed breakfast rice
sizzling barbecue, creamy chicken-vegetable soup
with mango yoghurt while allowing hot chocolate
to blend with the smell of toasted bun midst peanut butter.

Concluding my morning festive flavorsome meal
my olfactory sense is welcomed by serene balmy room
verily therapeutic as I immerse for writing pursuits
gripped with the lavender fragrance of my own perfume.

*In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Right Or Wrong Choice

Is it rather simply a case of me
myself being at fault

Should I not look ever deeper delve
far more inward

Into my own soul at what actually
makes me tick

Approach my choices and ways

And means of processing my thoughts

And try other apposing different methods

Before I come to a conclusion

Well yes of course I should

That goes without question or saying

But that inevitably will only end up
concluding with me

Being denigrated cast out abandoned
and banished

If I do not want nor am able to willing
wish or choose to side

With the many even if I believe in what
they are doing is wrong

Enough in order to remain

Than retain and give up a part of my soul

Premium MemberI'Ll Be a 'Naire Yet

To be a millionaire
With all of the fanfare
May never be my fate
Since I started too late

Sure I have some savings
But they’re barely shavings
Compared to the stout tree
That a millionaire be

I’m not a malcontent
But I kind of resent
That my saved pile of dough
Is short one more zero

Though I keep working hard
I think that I am barred
In becoming a ‘naire
Which seems so far from fair

But that got me thinking
I’m not a ship sinking
I could become a ‘naire
Maybe one that’s quite rare

How ‘bout a husband-naire
Though with some graying hair
With home as my palace
It has a smug status

Or be an enjoyer
As a great employer
Of huge business affairs
When I’m a boss-inaire!

Or let life unravel
When I go and travel
And visit everywhere
As a vacation-aire

I’ll become debonair
As the best lover-naire
Since something was missing
Like passionate kissing

Yet don’t start concluding
There’s no wife eluding
For in all due fairness
She is my babe-nairess

Yet I cannot deny
I’m that everyday guy
Who is always there
A regular-guy-naire!

And since I do well at
Or rather excel at
I have become that rare
Normal-guy-tycoonaire!`

Premium MemberVoice of Thunder

Rumble pours upon the Earth
Lightning flashes with more flashes
Strikes here and there
Heaven’s command on the Earth to hear and observe
Heaven’s relay
Mighty and strong
Separation with no get along
No evidence of preparation
Earth’s disobedience
The wrath of true divinity
Thunder continues to rumble and assemble
Echoes of breezes
Releases of total darkness
Soul’s uncertainty
Earth doesn’t echo back
Words on high hear Earth
Wonders below being Earth
A Mighty that can and could
Earth who should
The wicked undeserving
Honor the Master
One who can change and rearrange
Image unseen
Risen and clean
Rumble of Thunder being a reminder
Lightning with concluding assuring words
You heard
Now comply
