Ten dead
Same story
Different town
White black
Black white
Black black
White white
What color
Does it matter?
Ten dead
Social media
Meaningless memes
Television screens
Yellow tape
Flashing lights
Talking heads
Counting colors
More important?
Ten dead
Mommas cry
Ask why
Who hates
Hate who
You know
Black white
Me you
Stop please
Stop when
Stop now
Hating is
Colorless
Ten Dead
Who are we?

This is a story on how I fought my way back.
When the world tried to beat it out of me, to get me off track.
I am not talking about labels & boxes constructed by bees.
But red, yellow, purple & sometimes even green.
Zombies walking around with their skin frigid & cold.
That's why we constantly hear the insults, which makes them so bold.
Your heart & soul have always been the key.
Let this be a lesson to a colorless me.

COLORLESS
Life is like a black and white canvass
Man is artist tasked to complete this painting task,
What is or are these task you might wanna ask.
We all came to the world bare, not even dotted lines,
Though a miracle, but no premeditation, no signs.
Life either gives you colors or you buy with hard work,
Buckle up, or else in life you'll rock or suck
Keep yo boat laced if you want to keep pace
In this colorless life called the human race.

I shall find you amongst many
And I will know that you are there.
It’s your voice, it’s your fragrance
It’s my mind playing games with me
I will sustain and know that you are there.
I shall find you amongst many
In your whiteness, purity of soul
In the magnitude of virtues and chasteness
It’s my mind playing games with me
I will sustain and know that you are there.
Colorless tears are like words of a poem, unspoken
With all the shades of that colorless tears, I shall, one day.

this cooler air seems to mottle the trees
spinning leaves like my thoughts in winded dance
befalling trails of tears on crimson breeze
as they fall grounded beneath the oak's stance
i hear the crumble of death beneath me
as i shiver within its strident gasp
chaotic roots reach out beneath its quay
piquing me with tones of your final rasp
dubious mind much like bare branches snaps
within the disdain utter from dead lips
as it echoes remorse in lifeless slaps
freeing only my body from its grips
my soul stands colorless, naked and numb
mirroring the trees in this autumn glum

You're trapped deep in your color
layer after thick layer of your own color
your unable to feel any other color
you're suffocating on your color
you say your proud of your color
then say don't pay attention
to your color.
I'm not quite there yet
but I pray to be colorless
because real humanity and compassion
is colorless.

I am a product of my next of kin
so in their image, through evolution
determined pigmentation of my skin
of human historic distribution,
a complexion that I am powerless
though never shall I ever be ashamed
typecast as white, to me I'm colorless
yet in my veins my red blood is contained,
we are creations of mother nature
earths location dictates our appearance
heredity determines our future
to me white or black makes no difference,
we are inhabitants of planet Earth
whatever color we were at our birth.

A man walks through a winter wasteland.
A barren memory of sorrow and regret.
A quiet prison, forced to wander and sulk.
Hes lost and forgotten within his dreamland.
As he tries to pay his blood debt.
But he fails in his duty and all he does is skulk.
He falls He can't stand He’s frozen by a broken promise.
The white starts to encase him spreading up his limbs.
But he breaks free, He can't give up, He can't die.
But he gives up He let's it get to him, He uses hyoscyamus.
His soul leaves him flowing over the rims.

If eyes could not see in color there would be peace on earth!
For the devil gave us this tool to destroy the world!

Flipping through each face, the ghost of my memories and others that came along
The very existence of them all, either torn and worn or fairly pure in my life
Each unhaunted and hidden away from the stolen world of color and beauty
Before there were wars and battles in our heads and hearts, crashing them with lovers and enemies
My world is simply gone, it’s light and variety was drained from my very being and left me cold and unwanted from any who neared
The painting of myself that I was, with each charming hue and tone that drawed people in and watched the coloration of us
We’re all just paintings carved and bonded to this page, and some have the strength to pull out and be their own walking mural
And that strength of mine was killed off, my illustration sliced at and soon vanished into light dust
Leaving me with my snapshots of the world that I left, the warm home I bathed in, and the one I now suffered in

All these words, bleak
Feelings of some sort
Truths; answers I seek.
But to express my words fall short.
Tell me my love what meaning
Do you see, if any?
In these feelings intervening.
Do I write more? How many?
Love is the reason I bled.
All for what; I did not think.
Pitch-dark petals don't bleed red
Just stains of black ink.
And when I watch the pain die.
Look back; words no longer rhyme
For a love like the blue sky
That forever changes with time.

The color of my blood is clear
Before i drink that beer
And then is shoots like a spear
And then am filled with a cheer
Which is followed by an extreme fear
My body hosts this liquid
This basic valuable fluid
Which sometimes flows like it's glued
Which sometimes is diluted if not polluted
Which sometimes is clueless and fluent
My blood is a baby crawling to a ball
My blood is a soldier, standing tall
My blood is the air without a wall
My blood is a letter powerful than a call
My blood is clear for it's just a source

All of my days suddenly turned colorful
Because you are here by my side
Crying is no longer a part of my life
Darkness is no longer my company
Ever since you are present in my life
For the rest of my existence
Give you my entire being
Having your love for me alone
Is just a bless for me
Just live my days with you is a bless for me
