Hard not to love Dylan Thomas’s tall tales
Each gloomy day may just tip those scales
Sends you off the rails when all else fails
Dilly dally schoolboys get cat of nine tails
Go doolally rally in the valley hard as nails
Don't cuss no faff or fuss for us Taff males
Knew along with a fair few Cymru crew's hue
Shared view that no where else has in spades
Cascades of so many gloriously grey shades
Dylan boozy villain mutters hip hop hooray
Gusts bluster beneath his sails on his travails
Trooping way this colour can't be kept at bay
Muster bulbous tinted voluptuous glinted bales
Proudly ride loudly in the night on his coattails
Very fond of merry vagabond's beyond the pales
Hail the true Withnail's escapades made in Wales
Don't harangue pang for meringue gang at play
Not a gimmick pray clouds don't go away hold sway
Rollick then frolic & fossick.. a limerick for any day
Outdoor foray adore bucolic score kaleidoscopic GREY
Squirrels running pacing dashing affably
Elegant fancy coattails in their black attire
Classy dressers these astute charmers

I stumbled and tripped
What have I done for me lately
I seem to have skipped
How long do you think
you can ride the coattails
of blissful ignorance?
Isn't it flagrantly obvious that
you are skating on thin ice...
and equally evident that
you're living on borrowed time?
How long do you think
you can get away with avoiding
the elephant in the room?
Have I been the unjaded enabler
whilst my silence should have screamed
to you louder than any multitude of decibels?

Why would anyone patronize Elon Muck?
Muck rode the coattails of his friend Donald Duck
Muck and Duck went up the hill
To serve us a bitter pill
Their fascism has left the country horror-struck
Muck's shaking of the tree, and kills the forest
His cleaning of the house affects the poorest
He's slashing a sword at regimes
And sending our country downstream
Muck pulls puppets strings, and Duck's the daffiest

don't you dare let me go;
From sunset until dawn
caught in the undertow;
I'm all thawing passion;
Tightly,
paradise is fleeting;
Savor that melt gently
the Sun will be riding
the Moon's coattails quickly;
Don't fall,
I may have a rough bounce;
Playing with that eight ball
a star with a sly pounce,
believe for the long-haul.
Have you seen
the ghost moon?
It rides the coattails
of that more solid rock.
It alone is the real living one,
the dead moon is but a shadow.
Be up and seeking
in the misty dawn of a hot summer
when the heavens are an ethereal drape
over a floating mirage.
See that Luna twin
rise
its wedding train
trailing along
an aisle of fading stars,
That is the moon
few see;
that one lives on.
It waits for the vows made
between earth and sky
to be one day
acknowledged by all.
