This, is where it began
A scream
Blood curdling
An amalgamation of acid and iron
Coagulates my blood
Mother
Instinct seizes
Heart racing
Legs race faster
Thoughts race out of hand
A gun to her head?
No time for weapons
Fists will do
Around the corner
My eyes catch glimpse
five golden corners
two solemn eyes
Mother
One word resounds
From shrieking lips
No
Over and over
Over
And
Over
That word
His badge
Her sobs
His gaze
Say one shrilling word
Her lover
My father
My father
Gone

Tremors shake beneath trepidatious feet.
To shake when shooken offers scents of defeat.
Took in thine imagery from perches unseen.
Salivating secretions ooze and seep secrecy.
Scantily clad corruptions do sit upright.
Smirking shards the aimless beacon leads.
Lapping pools of torment to endless vacancy.
Loser coagulates down under unsettled concrete.
Locked moments buried flags of victory.

Marooned, small life swims
in a rockpool flung up
and left high on the stretched
reach of last night's storm.
The world that holds them
has shrunk to a size
no bigger than a bucket.
The morning sun singles out
the forms and anoints each
with a dab of light.
I watch and swirl a finger
as if to stir the motion
of a running wave and break
the stagnating still
that has settled here.
This pool is too far away
from the normal wash
of tides to be replenished.
Cut off from the sea,
it will evaporate.
Each turn of a finger
through the water
seems to wind a thought
tighter around my head.
When I stop, an image
on the surface of the pool
slowly coagulates into me.
Just below the glaze,
life withdraws a little further
into its shrinking world,
separated from the sea.

A red sun, pooling like a drop of blood,
coagulates at the edge of darkness.
And the night flows like a shadow, a flood
black as pitch, inking a seamless starkness.
A gilded moon, like a pitted gold coin,
beams in the sky as a beacon of light.
And like swarms of flashing fireflies, stars join
quasars and pulsars, twinkling in the night.
Dawn frets like a nervous actor offstage
practicing, to introduce the sun.
And as a gossamer breeze turns the page,
morning shimmers, like a web, freshly spun.
And the sun rises, a golden balloon
afloat in the air like a songbird's tune.

Reflections are divergent
images composite
negatives of dreams
an alternate stream.
Calculations of precise reality reflected.
diverge and coalesce? In memories
Stacked as photographs fade…
Reflections are divergent
images composite
negatives of dreams
an alternate life
not all is at it seems.
Things unseen best left dismember
in the bloody history of my infancy!
Coagulates impressions like rusty blood…
As impression imperfect of pictures; vacations,
holidays, Christmases, and life images delineate
go fuzzy pale, fade, and blow away…lost in memory!
A story in the light of a bitter
sweet son a future left unseen
and in between shadow and reality.
Divergent reflections
composite perfect impressions
in alternant history
refract
retract
subtract & divide
impressions imperfect
feeling the suicide!
The shadows in all these photographs
burn in the light as future sons, diverged
impressions perfect
image compromise
comprehended
and surmised…

Hey, killer, you've slain a cow
It's been swiftly slaughtered, cooked, and now
You stick your knife's blade deep into that hunk of meat
Bloody juice rushes forth, so thick it coagulates, red as a beet
How much more of this gore can you possibly take?
No wonder they say: Sell the sizzle, not the steak!

Autumn grows old
Winter snow tells;
Vivid cold tales
~~~~~~~~~
Lonely lemon tree
Vivid outbursts;
Fruity yellows splurge
~~~~~~~~~
Evening echoes
Moonrise aura;
Stray cat strides
~~~~~~~~~
Inner escapade
New writes spark;
Passion tells
~~~~~~~~~
Memory circles
Glimpses scroll;
Old echoes
~~~~~~~~~~
Touch whispers
Cheer coagulates;
Distance crumbles
~~~~~~~~~
Once upon jazz
Discern then;
Lost melody

Abstract images dripping shadows
Through one's reveries--- cycles grasped
by an artist's palm, scraping the easel--
Mosaic of fallen birds caught within blended tints;
Acrylic pictures woven together,
Hung through clotheslines... soaring like love unrequited.
Within edges of a framework, paint coagulates,
Full of stale cigar smoke as wax droppings
break from many nights' forsaken candles.

I consulted a tyromancer
To see if I could find an answer
She consulted some cheese
And told me so much sleaze
I’m convinced she’s just a fat chancer!
Written after I read an article in the dentist’s waiting room today and I discovered that Tyromancy is form of divination involving observation of cheese, especially as it coagulates

who the hell let that pimp in?
My boss grabed me, then
Immediatly, I became the next candidate for exploratory surgery;
Sodomized with a paring knife to remove the alleged ******** from my ass;
I immediatly volunteered for pimp removal surgery,
Flooding! On a gurney headed for the emergency room;
As the doctor studied my hemoraging rectum,
My ******* became blackmail for that pimp;
Not a hole,not an opening,
Just pulsating, hemoraging flesh!
The flys just congragate while the blood coagulates !

(In the 17th century, when thinkers
were first getting to grips with gravity,
they named it "kindly inclining".)
Seeds adrift on water
coalesce:
fueled by affinity,
they form a community.
Last pearls of wine
combine:
electing against space,
they cling to the curve of the glass.
Berries stain the fingers
that rupture them,
their plasma clasping the hand,
rather than leave unthanked.
We scraps of matter
are emboli,
swimming in Not-Being.
An impulse in the void
coagulates our Something.
Swathes of stellar gas contorting,
slab on slab of basalt pressing,
horses on the hill cavorting,
algae in the swell fluorescing,
ospreys on a rock face nestling,
children tumbling and wrestling,
matter moves to matter.
We are starstuff all,
and motion is our purpose.
We are aided on our journey
by the steady pull
of starlight.

Blood is thicker than water (farewell)
Burdened and scarred by DNA
Passed on to us without our say yet
Blood is thicker than water you say?
Characteristically speaking at least
Yes this much is true
Blood coagulates, dries up at such a rate
Impermanent - given certain conditions -
As flaking paint on the family portrait
Carries unknown diseases causing delicate hearts
Quite literally to break
Water the poor relation oh so giving
Life force indeed of all things living
Cleanses, refreshes, vitality brings
Enriches life prompting hale hearts
Passionately to sing
Crimson blood dripping oozing
Pure water flowing clear and soothing
I know now which is my choosing
Blood is thicker than water they say
This I will dispute
Till my last drop has bled away

This is like a red moon.
This is like a total eclipse.
The sun becomes black.
SIX MONTHS OF DARKNESS
The gloom occurred during noon unexpectedly.
The media states the world is in Armageddon.
This has been formed from the unknown God.
The world becomes tense.
A universe is in darkness.
It does not affect utilities until the darkness coagulates.
Mania displays on faces.
Children sit quietly.
Crime is on the streets.
The police sirens are heard from a distance.
Looting for no reason because the natural disaster is darkness.
No homes are lost.
No souls are at stake.
The cities and towns are not evacuated.
However, weather is onset.
The stars shine.
The moon they surround.
Time is of the utmost importance.
Foremost, is the day is not in appearance.
The weather person does not know what to tell.
The media is the forerunner of what has occurred everywhere.
Life moves on.

Her eyes see his mystery
He's as raw as a bone
Bone white, ice cold
She feels his chill
When she wants his love
But she exists in hell for him
Because she knows
He's trapped at the Rockerfeller Center
A little boy frozen in time
Cutting the ice with the blade in his skates
Wishing to release himself from the pain
But, the blood never coagulates
It just keeps bleeding from his soul
She sees inside
She knows his torment
Because it is her's because it's his
Because it's theirs
No matter the eerie descent into darkness
She treads no where

-Sweetness coagulates,
stiffening resolve
to capture fugacious episodes-
Like an unrobed woman,
draped across fractured light,
tempting my skin,
pulsing pheromones across
the peak and troughs of my breath.
Seeping through cracks,
in callow defences, this icon
demands piety –demands satisfaction-
and trapped in allure,
of suggested orgasmic pleasure,
lips part in half-moon smile
of surrender.
Conflating arousal,
staining lips with you,
feed conflagration,
and so satisfy desire.
-memories are deceitful,
each dedicated
to sustaining this addiction-
