Premium MemberCHIME BELLS RING

Christmas around the world
Church Organs play
Rise and Shine
Joy on high
Blessing on impact
Cocoa hot
Warmth within
Fireplace reflection
Happy in full control
A day to embrace one another
A Christmas holiday that comes once a year
Inspiration to always preserver
Reason for the Season
North Star birth
Let there always be peace on Earth.

Once was a saint, round and vast,
Whose sight was strangely amassed,
He gave gifts unseen,
A concerning scene,
‘cause giving was getting fast.

Elves, with their laughter so shrill,
Made toys with joyous free will,
With hammers, they’d bang,
And merrily sang,
A chaos craft, standing still.

Then Santa paused in his flight,
And pondered the elves tonight,
“Their chaos,” he smiled,
“Wonderfully wild,”
“The chaos toys shining bright.”

Premium MemberTwo Weeks At Christmas

For two weeks o'er Christmas; let's straighten the bend, or flatten the curve
Lets just get on the mend.' Give amazon and others a holiday space
And more Important yourselves' just step off the goods race
For there's two weeks of freedom, maximise it and how'
Hit percentage throw a spanner
Explore a new kind of WOW.' Take the freedom on offer!
Its that time of the year, take from the takers'
Lessen your debt, cancel fear, in only two short weeks
Look upon it as done, it will lessen your burdens
It could be pure fun.?
Spend much less, use some reason; look' don't be a debt cow!
Push coersion to the roadside, flatten the curve, that is starting now.!

Premium MemberYour Christmas Lights

Lights
                                   and shades,
                                     vim of life,
                            that warms your heart.
Holy nights not as warm as Christmas Lights.
Seasons, occasions leave, not Christmas Lights.
                               Life rolls, age tolls.
                                     Turn it on,
                                     Feel great
                                         Ever.

Premium MemberChristmas Bells

Not to worry , if holiday bells by our government
are silent and snuffed!
God’s words, His truth can never, ever be once
muffled.

Sometimes, believers will be sadly downtrodden.
Look ye to the Star of Bethlehem, do not allow
Your Eternal, beautiful soul to rotten!

Strong in your faith, though life can be most unfair.
You may by your brothers be a joke. thoroughly and
unjustly scorned!

Remember why that Baby in Bethlehem was born.
To eventually die for you on the Cross, that sad and
painful, Good Friday morn!

Never had a Christmas tree
  or some mistletoe
No wreath of holly on my door
just a mezuzah there, you know

No stockings stuffed with candy canes
  or Christmas decorations
Never sang a hymn to Jesus
  Torah's my inspiration

Yet just as Christians can appreciate
  the flames of Chanukah lights
So too can a Jew like me
  sense magic Christmas night

Premium MemberRescue Me From Boughs of Folly - a Parody

Rescue me from boughs of folly Tra la la la la, such misery ‘Tis the time to make most jolly Tra la la la, la, it’s blizzardly. Heavy coats and boots we’re wearin’ Tra la la la la, la … la, la, la! Department Santas, they’s a-swearin’ Tra la la la la … la, la, la, la! Why can’t I find all the presents Tra la la la la, it’s such a drag, Things on back order for us peasants Tra la la la, la, a fretful lag. Shopping’s such a painful process Tra la la la la, la … la, la, la! So far I’m having little success Tra la la la la, la … la, la, la, la!
[Sing to the tune of “Deck the Halls”] A parody written December 1, 2021. Thanks to Terry Flood for the inspiration!

To all Poetry Soupers Merry Christmas Soupers, Some have read my stuff like troopers. Ignoring Poetry Soup would border treason, but remember, Jesus is the reason for the season. I’m praying for your health in the New Years beginning, that it’s healthy, and prosperous and finds each one winning. That the magic of words continue flowing from your pen to page, and you remain an inspiration to others in this troublesome age. Miracle man 12 25 20
