This much, O heaven—if I should ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ rave,
Pity me not; but let ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦ in my madness ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ the grass ¦¦¦¦ grows upon my grave.

If I dare ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
Whimper and clamour, give me grace ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ of ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ God.

Thank God the stars ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ must travail in ¦¦¦ night ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦
Thank God my tears will never ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ curse ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ a flower.

Men say the sun was darkened: yet ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ it beat brightly, even on—Calvary:
And He ¦¦¦¦ hung upon the Torturing Tree
¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦

Premium Member Belgian Neutrality

¦¦¦ the ¦¦¦¦¦¦ French depart
Like ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ Bonaparte,
Swarming ¦¦¦ with ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦ venomous vitality.
Over ¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦ Brighton and Bulgaria,
¦¦¦¦ violating Belgian neutrality.

¦¦¦ the injured Prussian may
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ say
"Why, ¦¦¦ be so small a nationality
Since ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
Bolivia and Belgravia,
Are bursting with ¦¦¦ Belgian neutrality."

By ¦¦¦¦ Alliteration
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ trace this curious nation,
¦¦¦ respect this ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ scattered Principality;
When you see a B in Both
¦¦¦ ¦¦¦ take your Bible oath
You are violating Belgian neutrality.

Premium Member EDUCATION

In this day an age it is especially important
when we feel our country has lost its soul
and we are encouraged mistrust everyone…
to think about the wisdom
behind the words of G. K. Chesterton.

It is important for us to remember as families…
handed down from every ancestor to
every father…every mother…

How Education is simply the soul of a society
as it passes from one generation to another

Premium Member A Country School

A quaint, one room, busy place,
Full of good old southern grace,
Lay to the east of Hawthorn Hill,
Somewhat beyond the daffodills.
Over a field and past the cows,
Beneath the deep magnolia boughs;
Beside smooth, clear Crab Creek,
In the shadow of Cheyenne Peak;
Down a tree lined country lane,
Stood the school of Miss Chamberlain.
Here in not such long ago times,
Tykes learned the nursery rhymes;
About a mile from Blackburn Highway,
If you but follow the sun ray.
Besides English, Reading and History--
Eager minds also grasped Rome's glory!
An outstanding nation is our own,
At birth, each future is unknown.
But in said remote, country school,
A future president learned the Golden Rule;
About ten miles south of Chesterton,
Somewhat east of the rising sun.

Justice or Mercy
Written: by Miracle Man

God provided a way for erasing our sins,
A contrite heart is where it all begins.
He sent his son Jesus to die on the cross,
We are saved by grace because of this loss.

God’s will, is that we show mercy to others,
Quite the contrary to having our druthers.
Unconditionally without apology or fuss,
While we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us.

“Children are innocent and love justice,
While adults are wicked and prefer mercy”
G. K. Chesterton

2000 Years of Jhs

Blinded Nation's people were shouting:
crucify him, "he said, he is the son of God".
His blood on us and our children.

Cross smeared with his blood,
condemned, through nails
joined with cluster of malefactors.

2000 years of infatuation,
without acknowledgement of guilt,
there is no pardon and no recompensation.

Some were converting individually,
Samaritans, Saracens, Zealots:
Chesterton, Pascal, Stein, Brandstaetter...

Others have been scoffing.
Punishment will rotate as the wheel,
until Covenant will be fulfilled.

The Human Machine

The Human Machine
Ticks by values of our characters.
“Be the one who wants something to begin
 Rather than someone,
 Who wants everything to end”,
 As said G. K. Chesterton.

They were talking about Chesterton,
 dressed in ribbons –
in the golden corners, shining on the table in the saloon.
 They talked about his words.

“Disdain of death –
Him who dies for the sake of living.
 Disdain of life –
Him who dies for the sake of dying.”

“Sensing the presence of God in flowers
or music, does not give us
Eternal life or will not
Build us up again”,
 As C. S. Lewis pointed.

“As if one who had taken seed
Should give to another the flower
Sprung thereof, states Henry the Eight”,
So does the human machine –
 Until the spirit it becomes.

The sea had climbed the mountain peaks,
And shouted to the stars
To come to play: and down they came
Splashing in happy wars.
Gilbert Chesterton

Stars Splash

Fire and water
cancel one another
And I am flesh in
the splash of elements
not worn down by centuries
but able to soar the stars

Earth and wind will
claim me
Scatter me on the sea
dying for a war
cell by cell
When all that is gone
battle by battle
Then will I be free?

Where seas, fountain
once more, through
a rain of stars.
