Justice or Mercy

God provided a way for erasing our sins,
A contrite heart is where it all begins.
He sent his son Jesus to die on the cross,
We are saved by grace because of this loss.
God’s will, is that we show mercy to others,
Quite the contrary to having our druthers.
Unconditionally without apology or fuss,
While we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us.
