Moonstruck

Beheld
Through lenses, welled,
A pool,
Reflections -
Echoed pressings of,
A fool:

Can I be the poem, and not the poet?
Bestowed with solace, still and stoic?
The admired, not the admirer?
Draw a gaze as licking fire, cause unrazable fixing desire.
The captured, not the capturer?
Found; unbound, sound faith unfractured.
The written, not the writer?
Penned in tense intention, tide-script monad gripping tighter.

Can I?
In this life -

Be the loved, and not the lover?
Stood under; not left, bereft, to wonder.
The wish, and not the wisher?
Made; spoken verily, heard, save tokens merely whispered.
The yearn, and not the yearner?
Nor rough refuge, nor shunned sojourner.

I exhaust myself so foolishly,
Being poetic, mulishly,
Admiring, captivating, writing, loving, wishing, yearning,
While never learning -

To be the moon and not moonstruck, dismayed?
Not to hold to those, who never learned to stay.

Premium Member dog capturer

We have a neighbor who captures dogs
Takes them to the pound
Because she thinks they are all strays
She brags about it on social media

This week she posted a photo of one of our dogs
Beau probably weighs ninety pounds
He does not look like he is starving or a stray
She asked if anyone recognized him

I recognized the driveway
It was my driveway
My husband was concerned
Not me
Beau is fast
he will not get into a car
We know this from experience

I wish her luck catching this one

Grieving Heart, Death and Legends

Grieving Hearts, Death And Legends”

Lying unconscious, Lifeless and Breathless;
Still kept on a life support, Helplessly.
With Pain and Agony from an End,
And Fund raising on the other end.
My conscience doesn't Portray a life support;
Mayhaps, Fund Support sounds Enticingly painful.

All Hell break lose on the Grieve and Trauma of Man;
When they make decisions, so decisive and Egoistic.
So, I'd rather live on the edge of Tardiness;
And lay quietly to die in Peace,
Than trust a Human made from Man.

Man created with Hate, Destructive thoughts, Agony;
With a little spice of Self-centeredness and Greed.
Created in their finest Selfish and decisive art;
An art willed to Us from the Enticement of an Apple bite.

I wish I had lived in the time of Hercules,
Son of Zeus and the Mortal Arcmene;
Slayer of the Nine Headed Nemean Lion;
Capturer of the Golden Hind of Artemis;
And die an Immortal, Remembered in History,
Than cradle in my steel made, high heeled Bedding.

Arrow - Heart

Arrow
                                 Cupid, weapon
                         soaring, striking, piercing,
                   seeker, capturer, liberator, recipient
                           feeling, healing, loving
                              human, emotion
                                       heart

Captured Thoughts

Captured thoughts,
A capturer on a Friday night,
Mind away from the body,
Lost in a dance the mind is,
Stationary is the body.
Feet taping to no sound,
Laughs to equip the mood,
Capturers we are,
Gathered to one thought.
The only time minds agree,
Through the week we disagree.
Friday night the mind is one.
A rhythm to the mind,
Friday is the tune.
Unity of the night,
Imagine if ‘Love’ was ‘Friday’.
How much couples will agree,
How groovy the mood will,
A Friday relationship every day,
Love so groovy…
