Each is but a sales tout,
but sadly some have clout.
And they ne'er go without.
With buzz words they do shout
then drivel do they spout.
We all know without doubt
their cronies haul 'em out
when their own rules they flout.
Each is but a sales tout.
Lin, a Chinese friend giggled at my feeble, say,
pedestrian attempt at Cantonese,
the Chinese word for butterfly or dragon even moth
just vanished down the throat of one
so eager yet befuddled,
turning egg shell noodles under spit fire lanterns,
our laughter rose and fell amid the sotto voce banter now in train.
Me, the woodland boffin, immersed in esoteric marshland plant life,
the sort that rules the grand designs of green leaf activists.
Lin, the restless late teen nomad,
who had yet to sink deep roots,
often dwelt in backstreet fruit and flora stalls.
On occasions even flexing sylvan muscles
on craggy mountain tops.
Her flawless English honed through years of rough sea ferry ventures,
on holidays abroad in trendy sunspots,
at major meadow festivals where gaiety and buzz words sprout.
We keep in touch through text and pen as often as we can.
Meeting up is fun.
I hope one day my knowledge of those mystic eastern tongues
will stray beyond the basics of some tawdry travel phrase book,
the one I’m prone to cart around the world but seldom use

Journey
Thanks to reality t.v and talent shows
Everybody now seems to talk about
My Journey
I remember when a journey was going somewhere
And reaching out
When did phoning someone
Become reaching out
And Sic mean cool
Sick was what I used to be when I drank to much
Or am I just getting old
And not cool anymore
You might have noticed that:
Trumpsky has favorite words in his limited vocabulary
"Believe it" and "YUGE" are redundancies in his formulary
But TV Talking Heads have their own words too
When one has an unusual word the others follow anew
"Hacking" of course has been around overly long
And rolls quite easily off a Talking Head's tongue
"War room" of late is an expression often heard
Talking Heads like it and accept another two-fer word
They've concluded "filter" is quite acceptable to use
It fits in nicely when explaining a deception or ruse
They've pushed "Walk It Back", "Pivot" and "Double Down "
To the back of the church where no prayer books are found
But "animus" and "leak" have an edge with an exotic sound
That's why they now insert them in every lengthy speech
When their Thesauri of Lexicons are quite out of reach
But users are reminded "verbum sapienti satis est"
"A word to the wise" is all that's needed and is the best
Buzz, Buzz
catch the fuzz,
it's all a big fus this buzz,
heros of literature use good buzz words,
knock buzz, it's all a fuzz
it's time for all this fus,
quarrel tantra mantra anger song literature anger jam,
superherores knock before the clock clocks,
superheros do the tantra mantra,
the simple life dance,
with simple talks,
the secret is out,
superheros do coloberate,
colors do shout,
Naga Anthemson talks Naga buzz anthems,
hush, naga can't get rid of this fuzz,
smile and blush like an x o yo,
Naga Anthemson beats the beat,
superheros without second heart beat,
death is angry,
selfless without feet,
Naga, I told you,
Superheros don't beat to shoes,
think of blues,
the times now are a few,
life has feeling with all views,
anger wishes are a struggle beyond screws,
the universe is universally beaten,
you have to take a hit like some Jews,
it's not my writing it's beyond my self in your shoes,
Selfless buzz, it's also called a big universally known buzz fuzz fuss beat, drew.
