Lyricism of wisteria ruses…peacocking muses gushing tomes
Classicism flocking..roams & woos homes not garden gnomes
Colourful creepers cruising..schmoozing with boisterously blushing bricks
Spring exudes mysticism..oozes oodles of bamboozling serendipity flushing
Cherished fingers rushing freely..delivers..unctuous ravishingly rambunctious
Relished slivers lavishly lingers..embellished..proudly protrudes
Inspires rhyming platitudes about gratitude...fires fresh
Attitudes across a range of altitudes & latitudes
Sprinkling wryly of vintner's drily sparkle...ends strange debacle...
Skint stints of wily skinflint winter’s splinters..with hints of now..Spring sprints
But also somehow.. if one squints..get an inkling of change..
Glints of summer's tints slyly twinkling

Started simply sustained systematically
Sorted out. Out of bounds boisterously
Bombarding bombing bombastic know how.
How the hooligans hounded the whole house.
Whole house stood on stilts.
Stilts, still Waters never dry.
Dry not to drought
Drought today pray it be tomorrow's
River. River? So how was horrendous
Waters run high. High above what was.
Was dengue fever subsided so
Scientifically speaking the dam
Had burst water up high.
High up to spaces never seen
Then it rained.
Feathered friends flying high
To perch upon evergreens.
Evergreens are sacred.
Now you know.
Excellently Exceptional say all
Words ending exploiting those
Efficiently ending in enders echoes
Etching out effecters effortly ends
With intended specialty especially
Enders game.
Game ending

Giant ornaments like tumbleweeds, like eye popping bubbles, boisterously released in London streets. Like giant lightweight bowling balls that cavort out of their lanes. The breeze plays volleyball, indeterminate who’s winning. The kids’ winning for sure. Follow the bouncing baubles, unravelling revelation of holiday spirit. Celebration in the streets off to a fa-la-la start.
If this was an episodic Doctor Who, those orbs would mean trouble’s steamrolling in. The tardis’ on high alert. It’s always London! The doctor’s enigmatic scrutiny of exploding rounds and Santas showing up. They’ve weapons too. Watch out! Don’t worry! The Doctor will save you.

at times i simply grab your feet and massage them
i make eye contact with you and flirt with you
i tell you that your hair looks nice and that you smell quite nice
you roll your eyes, but you enjoy the massage
i know that you will never say yes, but Prayer is Quite A Vibe
as i continue to massage your feet, i ask if you would like to watch a movie
you tell me to put in 'duel'
internally i cheer and click the appropriate button
i just want to elongate your presence in my presence
you roll your eyes again because you are used to my many slick attempts
i guess after x amount of years, one becomes predictable
you take back your feet and simply turn around and pint at your shoulders
now i roll my eyes and we just laugh quite boisterously
we make eye contact and stay there for a while.....flirting and wondering.....
the movie begins, and i again become your fleece throw blanket
this wise man takes it no further and appreciates A God Gift.....

When my unlanguaged
RightBrain intuitive
mute muse default son
speaks in throated sounds,
urgently loud,
quietly lulling,
boisterously laughing
from belly
up to smiling dimpled face
He wants
and expects,
possibly demands,
nonviolent communication
And needs
compassionate companionship,
as do we all.
These two,
communication and companionship
not entirely the same,
and yet not distinctly different;
A creative sacred apposition
of outside relationship choices
felt as a warm accompaniment
inside gifting voices.

Oxymorons are cynical and fun.
Be careful though if you want to use one.
If it is familiar, it may sound quite trite.
Which murders your poem with a harsh bite.
Deafening silence is way overdone.
Boisterously shy is a good one though, hon
Brilliant idiot may be available in a tweet.
But avoid cliques like bittersweet.

The silence of the starlit sky
Glittering joyously, never shy
Coloring the world in hues of light
Laughing boisterously in the eye
Whispers of rainfall upon the ground
Leaving promises of sunshine all around
Helping to enliven the heart’s approach
Wishes of hopeful rainbows to astound
Breaths of inspiration sigh on the morn
Leaving light, laughter and love to adorn
The beautiful spirit of one who is kind
Wise in knowing every rose has a thorn
In dreams there is found so much grace
Senses of hope that no one can erase
Ideas that capture the heart in an embrace
Leaving joy and delight across every face

or their hands off of each other

after a pandemic
and three months of sheltering in place

Killdeer Farm, at midnight, I bellied an open bay
window. Its ledge mentioned the pounds I've earned,
and for a second I lost self-esteem. A foul wind came up,
did ungodly things to me; open my top, rubbed me a bit with
cold feet, gave wings to linens on a line. The lights
were gray, the darks were dressed in night. I heard them,
their wings flopping, they could not go free. I saw the cruelty,
I did not say a word. I was afraid of letting bugs
into my mouth. To the west, the cornfields were null and void;
their darkness was upon the face of the deep, but when
my mind rushed me toward a bad conclusion, I told myself,
Lancaster is a triangle with three different sides. I saw
House Rock Road, Pequea & Chickies Hill on Route 441
looking toward Columbia. It was there I laughed boisterously
without the fear of bugs passing close to the realm of my lips.
Pennslyvania is my Pennslyvania & your Pennslyvania.

This day soars, refreshingly
Floating in umber modesty
Mewling boisterously, in jollity
While, harvest colors blink
Tragically in shades of pink
Afternoon progresses in happiness
From there on, the evening moon
Shines in bright, yellow incandesce
As nightfall settles over sky festoon

Twenty-Twenty

Miracle man
As I sit contemplating this years ending
I wonder if it quietly fades as a summer sunset,
or gives way, boisterously, to the New Year.
Will Twenty-Twenty bring more of the same
or will we see meaningful change?
The world is embroiled in political unrest,
and political factions snip and bite each other as ravenous wolves.
The media is all to willing to help man write his own obit.
We’re so polarized that we’re destroying ourselves and any other,
who disagrees with with words, drugs, guns.
Attitudes are sour and morals are as putrescent meat.
Will this new year see us vote in more sinful things
under the guise of benefiting our children and schools?
Unless hearts change I fear more of the same, or worse.
Only God knows
Happy New Year

Sitting here
looking out the protection of my window on the world
I'm safe
watching as the wind rises and races through the trees
a howling calls out
crying and weeping boisterously at the onslaught of spring
late March winds
arrive at the close of April midst the tempest-tossed rains
rivers and streams form
where the earth slopes down into the wood
and creatures hide
hovering in the brush and thicket bush
as I watch
safe.

Blue Stars, blaze boisterously
Orange Stars, blinding brilliance
Yellow Stars, intense illumination
White Stars, sizzling stunning
Red Stars, resoundingly radiating
Brown Stars, glazing and glowing
All Stars, bright, enormous, tremendous and gigantic.
They at temperatures of more than thousands of degrees Celsius.
Stars balanced; this with gravity and with fusion.
Nuclear core fusion reactors; a cauldron of hydrogen turned helium.
Their gravity holding home planets in their circular orbits.
Stars super, stellar, stunning, shining, supercilious.
They being beacons of light in the black velvet midnight twilight.
A lot of stars can be viewed with your very eyes this very night;
if you have eyes with very good seeing in God given far-sight.

The women I know are very strong
The woman I know carry burdens beyond grasp
I see only reflections of their sorrow, or their strength and of their being
They teach the world lessons quietly and sometimes boisterously
Unbearable love for their kin
Unending endurance to work for their loves
Understanding, forgiving, disciplinary and resolute
The women I know are beings of lights

Does she not know?
That when I sleep my mind wanders wills to find her,
And when the cold morning arrives,
And I awake alone,
I wonder if I should call her,
Boisterously announce my awakening,
From a night of restless thoughts and dreams of her,
And as I sit sipping coffee awaiting her arrival,
(Why for the first time in remembrance am I on time and even early?)
Time turns endless and then she appears,
My heart melts at the sight
Of her kinky hair, cute feet
And beautiful smile,
So awash am I can’t even fathom the arms of another.
And still she cries out from the sea
For me to prove my love…
And my passion grows insatiably!
Her anguish and belittlement of our love
Cold steel that streaks my heart
For all the while I’m in the
Boat beside her
Laboring ore the oars
That keep us future bound.
