Perilous Times

Today we’re facing challenges,
beyond our imagination.
We seek God’s face in prayer,
and wait for God’s cessation.

Votes are sold for the prospect,
of getting something free.
Electing those to some office,
who never seem to agree.

We take the life of the unborn,
and morals aren’t as has been.
To finance life improvements,
we legalize all sorts of sin.

As we bravely face each new day,
trouble lurks at every bend.
I feel things won’t get better,
until God declares, the end.

2nd Timothy chapter 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Ferocious inimitably potent fighter,
The fictional tiger zestful might igniter;
Guard of the Antarctic primeval savage land,
Encircles by chasmal volcanoes, fire band...!

Nuwali, a bright tribe of dinosaurs era,
That changed millions of years of fauna and flora;
The big cat, comrade, and ally of the Ka-Zar,
Escapes wreck by Terminus, an alien star...!

Kiths and kins were killed by hunters of the jungle
Stives for existence and survived amid bungle;
Saves Kevin from foes and tended him as his son,
Secures him till adulthood; many wars he won...!

With his Pet Avengers, the dragons he tackles,
Each enemy before him, he calmly shackles;
Confronts El-Tigre, and Man-God; roots out monsters,
Blows out and keeps away all boasters and roasters...!

The power fight midst pet avengers and Zabu,
This leads them to horrible confrontations, new;
Suffers from infection by the zombie virus,
Archives his tasks, and becomes, for all, desirous...!!!

Boasters

Who are these that
          boast of banal glories!
           who drink at the fountain
           of void deeds...
           That blaspheme words
           as swords of conquest...
            anything...?
They are the same ones that sail
through the alleys of empty lives,
            across seas full of
            sunken ships...
Walk under the moon of the dead,
            while regurgitating
            their
             poorest memories... !

It’s more than a virus infecting the land,
we awaken each day to a state of paranormal.
My thoughts are that God has removed his hand,
and things will never return to being normal.

Prophecy is being fulfilled as each day goes by,
are we nearing the day when man will succumb?
Protest is rampant, and for free stuff is the cry,
the peace that man seeks God says won’t come.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.'

It barely vanquishes my quenchless spirit of inquiry.
To what exactly reason have I sledded so wildly?
Boasters and swindlers sprang up a treaty vigorously.
People are queuing to sway slated on a promontory.

It's plodding to incite thugs by misleading people.
Your genuine assertion is both witless and guileful.
By discerning purport, you may be pioneering.
As though a doleful mistrust was typically unfurling.

Why is it crucial to recur an idyllic shade?
It's time to hoard the dart and glittering blade.
Valorous braves are slogging toward the staid.
Everlasting zest is not a squib and never fades.

Yet we must swither in waging truth and moral virtue.
Truth and equity can't alter insight on specific bestow.

Premium Member Summer In Time

I love plenty green grass growing with flowers
fireflies flickering at shows at nighttime
their bio-luminescence internal night-lights flashing

people pleasuring by the beach with hot sunny sun-tanning
builders are there on many beaches with wet sandy sandcastles
swimmers are swimming; snorkelers are submerged in blue water

sun has illuminated many bike trails for mountain-bike bicycling
sunrays light up parks to have some fun of festive fraternizing
days are longer with sunsets a glow of lavender tinge and orange

4th, July has multi foods of tasty outdoor tender barbequing
summer sun brings out short-sleeves boasters bulging biceps
freedoms a most pleasurable thing of this most seasonal season

Last Days

Like Sodom and Gomorrah the world is living,
we’re compromising daily, our morals, in stages.
Hurrying through life harboring some misgiving,
burning precious time, turning our last pages.

As clock time, becomes more time foregone,
we grasp for straws thought to be inspiring.
In time, many become an emotional pawn,
and the straws grasped, were seldom aspiring.

Lord, Hear our prayers as we intercede,
on behalf of our troubled world today.
Disobedient people good thoughts impede,
and each day brings some new affray.

Today we are living in those perilous times,*
that you said the last days would bring.
The media reports daily on riots and crimes,
change our hearts before death bell’s ring.

Parallel Universe

They talk to me… I take no interest
For I like not their likes…
When I talk to them--- about angels, and heavens,
And about life, magic and things I like
They listen not
And the boasters, like parrots
Start praising their minds…
And talk of trivial things
Like brands, latest fashion, new model cars and their favorite cigarette

They seems impressed of themselves
And tell me in hidden words, how better they are than I
For they understand the world and know life's art
I smile on their faces, but laugh at them in my heart…

They know not the truth of life
Or they ignore the cry of Truth
And turn a blind Eye towards the Reality

Or may be it’s a parallel universe
they are living in
In my world, Moon has strains
And flowers wilt young

kids play with the debris of their wrecked houses
Mothers bury the empty coffins of their dead sons
Sons wait for their murdered fathers to bring them food
And dughters wipe mothers' tears with their torn clothes

How can I celebrate this life...??
They do...
They must have got a different world

Premium Member The Parable of the Two Sons

Man of two sons say

to the eldest, tend to the

vineyard, he refused but then

changed his mind and did

so, the younger said yes, but

he did not do as was asked.

*As scriptured.
The first (eldest son) are the lowly of Israel who was not wholeheartedly obedient to the Laws but were adherent followers of John the Baptist and accepted the way of righteousness. The second (youngest son) who are the boasters of Israel who obeys the Laws but was skeptical and despised John the Baptist and ergo, were not able to accept the way of righteousness.
