Lock, stock, and barrel

A
sexy
blonde bombshell
fresh and footloose
notoriously
enticing, ensnaring
dragged me by my nose-ring
bewailing, bemoaning made me
walk down the aisle towards the altar
intentionally intimidating.

One’s never too hot for angels to handle.
Quote - Poet’s own

For the glamorous Marilyn Monroe
Completely out of their minds men would go
Her hour glass figure
Sent them a-dither
When her two beauties were out there on show.

As a blonde bombshell Marilyn was known
Her face and her shape got her on a throne
Some folk liked it hot
When wild the wind got
Up went her frock, to her shock all was shown.

Marilyn wished to be star, perchance
Through exciting years she’d act, sing and dance
In films she appeared
She lost all her fears
And she was never without a romance.

Sadly Marilyn met her end too soon
Now she's flying somewhere over the moon
A proven actress
In heaven's love nest
Dancing and singing with angels in tune.

Adorable Michelle
A blonde bombshell
A chic mademoiselle
Moved like a gazelle

Vicious rumours ripe to dispel
Everything between heaven and hell
Around on the carousel from rebel to infidel
Jealous wagging tongues, wasn’t hard to tell

Really she was into music and aquarelle
French cuisine with béchamel and caramel
Strolling shores collecting seashell
Cultivating roses, pimpernel and bluebell

Fell hard for some guy with a rose at his lapel
Who wrote her a crude villanelle
Penned using an old fashioned inkwell
And it worked as a potent love spell

Before the dinner bell
Had her up in a motel
Watching Emmanuel
Drinking chilled zinfandel

Rendezvous For Two

Rendezvous for two, Valentine
Secret glances only confirm
On the fourteenth, you shall be mine
Not for the day, but for long-term

I am not jealous of May-belle!
Rendezvous for two, Valentine
Remember me, not blonde bombshell
In history, I shall consign

Last year you ignored my love sign
Though this year you have shown your worth
Rendezvous for two, Valentine
In truth you have increased in girth

Your weight gain increases ardours
As you pump iron to define
We shall enjoy enchiladas
Rendezvous for two, Valentine

she drinks too much wine
chemo has been kind to her
she’s seen her child wed

Marylin Monroe

she's a blonde bombshell
under the tree of beauty
shaded by light, moons
