Best Wrapped Up Poems

Wrapped Up

Curator's canvas primed white
Pure white and found wanting
a common subject to decant-
Man and Woman, in waiting.
Once laurel-wreathed,
Now ceremonially decadent.
Not a word, True Love breathed...
Recoiled lives once ravelled
will be parallel lives travelled
in convoluted loving.
And truer twisted hating.

Too Wrapped Up

People are getting
Too wrapped up in getting too
wrapped up in themselves.

All Wrapped Up In Red

When I think of my favourite hue
Images of red blanket my view
Red of the rose, lush like a heart
Intertwined ribbons wild and free
Vibrant and bold full of vintage warmth
Variant shades revealing state of mind
Extroverted or angered with rage
Or coloured by passionate emotion
A defining moment wearing the colour love
Or painting , expressionist in the making
All wrapped and tangled
It’s what red does to me
The colour that is
My favourite hue

Wrapped Up In a Blanket of Black the Chesire Felidae

The Chesire Felidae smiles down at me,
as I patrol all night on achy feet.

There is no need for artificial light,
for the Chesire Felidae smiles so bright.

Sometimes in the deep, dark, cold night,
the Chesire Felidae's elliptical smile is the only thing in sight.

When dawn approaches the smile slowly fades away,
the Chesire Felidae vanishes and hides during the day.

My closet’s empty and so am I baby and it’s all because of you
All I have left are memories, a few shirts and some jeans of blue
Life’s cruel ‘cause in all this space there’s still an elephant in the room
I know I’m all-alone but still feel the seductive touch of you

I get up each morning feeling empty to the bone
I should have showed my true love for you before you were gone
Even my clothes are lonely now that we’re so far apart
My shirts miss you wearing them so close to your beating heart

Life was so simple then we’d dance all-night and when
My lonely clothes were holdin’ on-to yours so tight again
Always knowin’ they’ll just end up on the floor
But truly happy ‘cause they’d be wrapped up in yours

Yeh, wrapped up in yours

Baby, I’m beggin’ that you please come back to me
But when you packed and left you made it clear as you could be
I’m just saying that my boots are awful lonely too
And maybe yours are missin’ me the way mine are missin’ you

I think we should listen to our clothes
I think they’re the ones really in the know

Life was so simple then we’d dance all-night and when
My lonely clothes were holdin’ on-to yours so tight again
Always knowin’ they’ll just end up on the floor
But truly happy ‘cause they’d be wrapped up in yours

Life was so simple then we’d dance all-night and when
My lonely clothes were holdin’ on-to yours so tight again
Always knowin’ they’ll just end up on the floor
But truly happy ‘cause they’d be wrapped up in yours

Yeh, wrapped up in yours
Wrapped up in yours

Wrapped Up In You

Tis the season of giving
And I'm in need of a gift
One that makes my heartbeat
And fulfills my every wish

I promise it won't cost a dime
As the best gifts never do
It's not on my list, but i hope to get
Wrapped up in you

When Im wrapped in the warmth
Of your sweet embrace
It's like entering Heaven
With each step we take

My secret this season
To not being blue
Is to find myself on Christmas day
Wrapped up in you

So don't wrap me a present
And tie it up with a bow
Just put your head upon my shoulder
Next to the fires glow

Then look me in the eyes
Until together we lose
All sense of time, the best surprise is
Wrapped up in you

When Im wrapped in the warmth
Of your sweet embrace
It's like entering Heaven
With each step we take

My secret this season
To not being blue
Is to find myself on Christmas day
 All wrapped up in you

Now the mistletoe is waiting
The Yule log is burning bright
Let's share in our passion
On this silent night

Cause a wise man knows
That miracles come true
I can't think of where I'd rather be than
Wrapped up in you

Today's the day let me celebrate
Wrapped up in you

Wrapped Up In the Magnificent Allure of the Eye

growing up,
s/he had been told that
“the eyes were the windows to the soul” &
as quickly as these things inevitably happen,
s/he decided for her/himself that this “soul” thing
was strictly a matter of imagination,
knowing full well that one had about as much of a chance in attaining such a thing
as one did throwing up fists full of sand into the mouth
when having thought only a moment ago,
the oasis was in fact a pool of clear light-greenish blue aqua---
then sitting in the corner of a quiet library,
one closes their eyes after reading bataille &
attempts the way to illustrate the artistry
the aurora borealis
the reflecting of moon beams &
the mirror-imagining of all vastly interesting shades of light
found in the iris of another
trouve dans la taille d'un autre grand les yeux,
how such wonder is harder to describe for those that don’t attribute everything to a
dreamt up imaginary friend---
for her/him,
even drawing the eyes of the one whose face they cannot free from their mind,
does not calm or bring comfort in the least &
the nonbeliever wants desperately to sum up what it is
that pulls them in,
what this other human being has within what seems like a purely
aesthetic
manifestation---
after all, they are only eyes, no?

with poetry, whipped up words,
one tries to bring their feelings to the surface
with song, with melody, with instruments & electronic embellishments,
one tries to impress, one tries to bring forth the wonder that another has
provoked within them,
certainly with paints, with the visual arts, with everything from great conversation to
a walk in the park
one takes the journey even further
still trying to come to terms with how they became so very
wrapped up in the magnificent allure of another’s
eyes.

and we cannot look away
and we cannot look away
and we cannot look away.

Wrapped Up In You

I'm caught in the cage
of mind turning pages
Remembering to mention
You have my attention
So frightfully afraid
I just have to say
You drip , sweet nectar
into my rhymes
with honey flowing
into my lines
This write, is a fire
ignited by desires
All
wrapped up in you
a reality that's true
Give me your heart
it'll be the start
Of
Something amazing
a lover blazing
With
Me into you
wrapped apon dew
Dropped in the rain
forgetting the pain
Feeling the gain
of loving again

Christmas spirit was neatly wrapped up
Tied with a bow and put upon a shelf
Encompassed was kindness, giving, goodwill and cheer
Organized in a package held hostage this year

Let Christmas pass, speed on by
Let it be gone in a blink of the eye
Do not bring out kindness, nor give any gifts
Goodwill only brings closeness, then there will be cheer

Christmas spirit is packed away for now
Let's don't deal with that equivalent foolishness this Christmas
Do not let a Christmas carol sound out
Nor stores decorations flout

Let all children go on to school
They need to stick to the grind
How can they learn if they have toys on their minds?

They need to do their homework
Don't forget all their chores
It is okay if they sometimes are bored

Life without the Christmas Spirit
Is fine for 11 months
So let that package stay upon the shelf
Don't start embrasing love and such

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
Please turn it off
Sleighbells Ring do not sing
Do not listen to them this year

Do not tell the Christmas story
How God _Gave_ His only Son
Nor how His Son freely came
Being born in Bethlehem

Once again let me say
Depression works its way
How many people suffer
In this way!!

I know a little out there, but so many people suffer from depression at Christmas. Look it up so you can know the signs to look for. It could be helped with something as little as some sunlight for some people who suffer from SAD.

The Wrapped Up Person - Chapter 73, Verses 19, Holy Koran

Surely it’s nothing but the advices of God
So let the people take a way
To their Holy Lord.

Wrapped Up

Scream out my name in the dark of night,
as winds of passion blow across.
Darkness becomes our blanket
so we wrap ourselves up,
allowing comfort
in sensual
moments of
our found
love.

Wrapped Up

pick a pretty paper
beautiful hues and shades
cause you got me all wrapped up
wrapped up in your love

put tape on the corners
make the creases neat
cause you got me all wrapped up
wrapped up in your love

put a bow on this package
tie it special and sweet
cause you got me all wrapped up
wrapped up in your love
