Wrapped Up In Yours
My closet’s empty and so am I baby and it’s all because of you
All I have left are memories, a few shirts and some jeans of blue
Life’s cruel ‘cause in all this space there’s still an elephant in the room
I know I’m all-alone but still feel the seductive touch of you
I get up each morning feeling empty to the bone
I should have showed my true love for you before you were gone
Even my clothes are lonely now that we’re so far apart
My shirts miss you wearing them so close to your beating heart
Life was so simple then we’d dance all-night and when
My lonely clothes were holdin’ on-to yours so tight again
Always knowin’ they’ll just end up on the floor
But truly happy ‘cause they’d be wrapped up in yours
Yeh, wrapped up in yours
Baby, I’m beggin’ that you please come back to me
But when you packed and left you made it clear as you could be
I’m just saying that my boots are awful lonely too
And maybe yours are missin’ me the way mine are missin’ you
I think we should listen to our clothes
I think they’re the ones really in the know
Life was so simple then we’d dance all-night and when
My lonely clothes were holdin’ on-to yours so tight again
Always knowin’ they’ll just end up on the floor
But truly happy ‘cause they’d be wrapped up in yours
Life was so simple then we’d dance all-night and when
My lonely clothes were holdin’ on-to yours so tight again
Always knowin’ they’ll just end up on the floor
But truly happy ‘cause they’d be wrapped up in yours
Yeh, wrapped up in yours
Wrapped up in yours
