To view the world though shades of blue
Seems such a sullen thing to do
When loving hearts can conquer all
And make our troubles seem so small

To view the world through shades of pink
May not be practical, I think
For though it’s good to contemplate
Reality, we should relate

To view the world in shades of green
Perhaps, I find the most serene
Though dwindling, our planet’s face
It’s not too late now to replace

The view the world in shades of white
If white is truth, I would delight
For darkness would be washed away
Making way for peace to stay

World peace one cannot buy
Over the sky
Round the mountain's eye
Lands near~~far and high
Decades this has been the cry

People ask why
Everyone wants to say to war good-bye
Ask why do they need to die
Cause man is evil~there are many a bad guy
Everyone wants peace with a sigh

Until Then

Until Then

Dawn has arrived and I hardly knew it.
Sitting and writing, I thought right through it.
Feelings about God and the need for peace,
Obsessed my soul, brought hope; pure love released.

I wish that I could wave a magic wand.
And bring to all mankind a loving bond.
Causing the world to find that peace filled place.
Where thoughts of wealth and greed will be displaced.

Alas, my heart takes flight away from fate.
And binds itself to peacefulness this date.
To fantasies of kingdoms far away
Where leaders feel my thoughts and start to pray.

I dream the most miraculous of all.
Begins when they upon their knees do fall.
Then, pray to deity that rules their soul.
And find that God by many names is called.

Then soon, love sparkles-- works its magic lull.
Evil thoughts and hatred vanish, null.
Peace and adoration upon men fall.
Oh, gift from God in heaven to us all.

Peace upon the earth sings, knowing at last.
That only by forgiving evils past--
And putting down war arms by trusting God.
Righteous love can procure the earth we trod.

But, only man, with God can win this race.
When death by wars does retribution face.
And cause the world to find that peace filled place.
Where thoughts of wealth and greed have been displaced.

Around the world when evil has been ceased.
The earth will live a thousand years of peace.
Until then, sadness will greet each new dawn.
And soldiers who survive will be war’s pawn….

In Pursuit of World Peace

When I reached at 4,
My father brought,
A packet of gift;
Held me to heart,
Kissed my cheeks,
Then handed to me,
Saying "happy birthday my son,"
Opened and showed,
The Sten gun and pistol toy"
Saying "this is a perfect gift for boys";
Taught me how to use,
Saying "Perfect machine
for your 'war and peace' game";
Paused for some time,
Then gaze in my eyes,
He pulled the plastic trigger,
Displayed usage of toy,
Saying "world is violent,
May need one day";

World spends more on weapons,
Than feeding needy poor;
Impels the innocent poor,
By provoking slogans,
of religion and race;
Stimulate virgin minds,
"To hold the gun in hand,
And ask for peace, parity";
Weapon deals are
So profitable business,
All benefit whosoever involved;
Reaches to Hungry and poor,
Where Food and medicines,
Can't reach;
Weapon sale gets momentum,
In the name of peace;
They know how to split,
Divide and rule;
In the name of world in peace;
Fly dove of peace in the sky,
Then give weapon to shoot;

Premium Member Plea For World Peace

Oh, sweet God, deafening roars of war's fire,
soldiers and civilians broken lifeless.
Skies ablaze, screaming missiles,
thunderous horizons.
The wails of fallen's families,
a plea for world peace,
joining prayers of many people.

In countries around the globe,
a weeping of bereavement.
A sighing of the soul,
bent knees, hands holding their
children closer,
a plea for the silence of the guns. ~

World Peace

There is this thing we crave,
and call it world peace.
We fast and pray, both night and day,
hoping war will simply cease.

The odds I think are not that good
we’ll get it in my life—
too many secretive, conspiring minds
that benefit from strife.

If we had Aladdin’s lamp
the genie might assist.
I’m sure that he could get it done
with simple flick of wrist.

But if he’s asked to take control,
results could be austere;
in order to gain world peace
he’d make us disappear.

World Peace

Peace in the world means
Today I live for the world
But I'd die for peace

World Peace

From Andover to Anaheim
Bangor to Boise
People speak up
Come on, get noisy

From Carteret in Jersey
To Cameroon far away
Speak up everyone
If just for one day

From Detroit to Dallas
Eaton to Ecuador
Come on everyone
Speak up some more

From France and to Finland
Ghana to Greece
People speak up
To bring about peace

From Halifax to Haiti
Indiana to Iraq
If we all scream up
Peace might just come back

Jerusalem to Jersey
Killarney to Kildare
Peace can resurface
If together we share

Lisbon to Lima
Michigan to Maine
Let’s make one voice
For peace is the gain

Netherlands to New England
Oahu to Oslo
Come on everyone
Let’s give it a go

Poland to Pittsburgh
Queens to Qatar
With peace in our pockets
We all can go far

Roxbury to Riverhead
Salisbury to Siam
We’ll acquire the peace
Just as we plan

Togo and Tobago
Uruguay to Ulster
It can all come true
If we’re ready to muster

Venezuela to Venice
Wyoming to Whales
Keep peace in our sights
Our plan will not fail

To get to our Xanadu
We just cannot stop
Keep screaming for peace
We’ll soon see the top

Yugoslavia to Yemen
Zimbabwe to Zaire
Once peace has been gotten
We’ll have nothing to fear

Come on everyone! Scream!

Christmas 2012

Expressed in my letter, Dear Santa a seed,
Is something so special, that we all deeply need.
A world that looks brightly, with eyes from their heart,
And gives peace a chance, and let human rights start.

Please Santa just listen, as you make all your rounds,
It’s not just the children, where gift should abound.
The people on earth, need understanding and love,
Can you load on your sleigh, and send from above.

Spread it out thickly, so it will stay through next year,
Stop all the strive, masked in our terror and fear.
Just grant us one wish, our dream one perfect gift,
Wrap it with ribbons to give us a lift.

So read my Christmas letter, one wish only this year,
Give us a memorable Christmas with something to cheer.
If the world can look brightly, with eyes from their heart,
And give peace a chance, and let human rights start.

World Peace In 20 Lines Or Less.

Comfort is relative,
so is beauty,
for that matter
movement,
joy,
sex,
love.
Close your eyes,
drop your disguise
the one your parents
gave you.
Alone,
you are a string of
bones,
no other thought
can save you.

Premium Member Rise Up Ye Armies of Peace and Love

Rise up ye armies of peace and love
Make known you're tactical plan
To rid the world of this evil scourge
Of wars and the killing of man

It's not too late but it soon will be
Beyond our efforts to change
This world is still a beautiful place
To neglect it would be a shame

Not to acknowledge it's just a loan
This beautiful world of ours
The mountains high, the rolling seas
The sweet smelling scent of flowers

No more abuse let's all make amends
And treat this planet with dignity
Respect for providing this absolute beauty
How tragic to miss this opportunity

Let's put an end to this constant upheaval
Start out as such innocent tykes
Bewildering how we've gone so far astray
And traveled this path so warlike

Rise up ye armies of peace and love
Put an end to this strife and selfishness
We owe our life to this place of beauty
Let's forget about all this foolishness!

World Peace

My Muse had a strange concept,
Aussies could spread Test Cricket,
Global Peace from this precept,
Middle East with a new diversion,
Test Cricket's mesmerising stupefaction,
No shots daily, narcotic absorption,
"Resume hostilities at the end of the next over...":
They'll say, " New bowler's called Grover,
We'll see if he bowls a maiden over."
Large LED screens on constant display,
Hours sitting in the sun, that's the way,
That's why there's Peace in Australia,
Without Test cricket, Peace is a failure!
Yes, Aussies could preach Test cricket,
My muse and its weird concept!

Afraid of the Dark

Afraid of the dark,I am you see,
For when I was little someone raped me.
Those fears and terrors still fill my heart,
afraid my mind is being torn apart.
I cannot see when all is dark black,
who is this with me,caught in the sack?
Please leave me be,do me no more harm,
it's been years and still there are tears.
All of my nights I run and I hide.
Deep in my mind a safe place to be,
no one can touch me,no one you see.
Not even life's worst misery.
I must keep running,it must not end,
must keep going, don't let it blend.
Eye's of tears, heart and mind full of fears,
It's been painful to many years.
My innocence stolen,
my joy taken away,
Please help me Lord,
Please help me I pray!
I am safe with my loved ones,
under the moon, because of God's son.
Still unaware of peace in my bed,
I feel afraid,the night I dread.
Hands tremble,body curled up,
mind is racing super speed,
I want to be loved,I feel the need!
Please don't hurt me like those nasty men did,
I hated them,God willing,he they will rid!
No place to turn,no place to run,
hiding and fighting,i'm only one.
Such wretched memories still haunt me each day,
please go away,
never to stay in a sane mind,
I need to relax, need to unwind.
Nobody knows the horror I've lived,
don't understand?
Tell me what gives?
I feel alone in my own world small,
like curling up into a small ball.
Somebody help me,
I can't do it alone.
I'm tired of running from all my fears,
tired of pain,tired of tears.
Tired of dying inside, through out the years.
Help me to live in a new way,
to live for tomorrow, and also today.
Help bring peace back into my mind,
Please help me ,please be kind.
But who do I turn to,who do I trust?
 I've been hurt by many!
Is there anyone,not one,not any?
I'm alone in my world of fear,
don't get to close, you may shed a tear.
Get to know me and all of my pain,
no wonder i'm mental,a little insane.
To much to lose, and much more to gain.
In a world full of pain and sorrow,
I can only hope and pray for tomorrow.
My dreams are real,it happened again, and once more,
please make it stop,,
I can't handle no more!
Dreams remind me every day,
somewhere,somehow,
theres got to be a way,
for peace of mind and a better day.
Please,please,I beg and I pray.

Dedicated to all those who have ever been a victim like me,
Have faith,God will make a way!

Premium Member Confronting Systemic Racism

Comes a time when I must face life's larger picture
On canvas of my mind, earth is kept garden
No one promotes killer weeds, God forbid!
Facing my Goliath; those stones were formed by One
Reverence for mother earth is linked to the Almighty
Only eyes seeing from a contrite heart, heal nations
No one should die of hunger or thirst of spirit
Today chimes a bell of new beginning, won't you join in?
In the deepest recesses of my mind, I see flames of love
Night became electric with clarity and transparency
God's flashlight reaches beyond time and space.

Seasons in all their glorious colors, captures the world
Yes, Captains will meet to delete drab colors of
Soldiers, of Systemic racism, praying to lesser gods
The rainbow goddess arched the heavens for all to see
Earth's unstoppable bloom of flowers favored the rainbow
Morning draped in silk, frozen hearts of hatred will melt
I'll stand with you on shores, where blessings flow
Can I get an Amen?

Right from the start, we were one, bred by the Almighty
Adam and Eve would traverse the land
Change remains the only thing that never changes
Islands washes away, but not The Word, life-sustaining
Some folks stray from glory. Humility is pathway home
My people, my people, vast as salts and sea, look up!
