Premium Member I Want It Bad

Having permission to be mean has me rushing to this scene.
Trouble is, I don’t want her to see or hear me because then
she’ll surely fear me. I can’t let her know how low I’ll go if
good poem placement doesn’t show.

Should she take my poem to use or abuse, then I’ll give her my
indignation news! How dare she treat me with no care and as
any less than the very best.

Obviously, she is not conscientiously aware of what my five foot,
two inch frame can do. She wouldn’t mess me around if she had
a clue. If my anger should stay, even throwing a stick wouldn’t
make me go away.

I used to write and pace. Now I pace and think of her face.
Yepper, she best give me first place. If she should choose that
I lose, well, then I’ll whack her with my pen. If I go down, she,
too, will hit the ground. She’ll bruise. I’d rather face disgrace
than settle for no medal.

I always count syllables and use any means to enhance my rhyme
schemes. I do not work so hard for her to poetry-dream-rob.

She’ll know I have power and that I’m no mouse when every
hour pizza arrives at her house.

On my way to find a stick
I found a quack with seven hicks
Each hick had seven hacks
Each hack had seven chicks
Each chick had seven shacks

Shacks, Hicks, hacks, and chicks
How many should I hit with the stick ?

The Rooster Crows At Noon and Other Things Out of Whack

Cackling old hens posing as journalists-
thinking themselves angles of light,
lay poisonous eggs filled with lies
and gestating hate-
riling against common sense,
and the rooster crows at noon.

Idiots, entrusted with government
destroy our country and way of life-
while the majority just watch
as the little foxes spoil the grapes-
and the rooster crows at noon.

Tax payers labor in the fields
and are penalized for success-
while pompous boars in congress,
slopping at the public trough,
grow fatter on vile swill-
and the rooster crows at noon.

Cats play games with mice
then kill for fun-
our youth play violent
videogames-
and the rooster crows at noon.

Brick Whack In Dark Night

Brick Whack in Dark Night

I woke up from my sleep with sudden shot,
And instantly forgot my dreams to tell,
Unconsciously my hand reached out for cell
It knew where I had put it, ere I fell
Into that June night sleep, too, too much hot
To fall asleep. However, it could not
Take hold of it. Quite desperate I got
Up in my bed, and searched for hand fan. Well!
I could not get it either. Oh, what Hell!

I simply sat down at the edge of cot
And felt the sweat-drops trickling at my back,
And looked around in echoing dark, dark lot.
It was quite dark and silent night. I think
I had not seen more silent, darker night
With gasp of silence all around up right
I tried to find some fissure, crevice, chink
Of outside light but could not. O alack!
I could not get the reason of that whack.

Premium Member My Last Whack At the Cat

Another happy day says, Happy Old Jack,
My giggles each day, sure add up to a stack
I'm a happy burrito
Filling my beano
With joyous emissions till my last whack at the cat

behold i’m a troll
     being an imposter my goal
           besides i’ve no role
behind these screens rots my soul
      beating back into my hole

Dedicated to the coward/s that tried
to sabotage Edward Ibeh’s ‘(this or
that) contest.

Mask

Enclave or enormous but pretty king mask
Brick per brick Rome's whack on an iron task

A shield to that tactful lions roar
His safe I'm saved from an odious boa

En masse we feed and stucked with 'cheese'!
On a flax we seat, soft like a fleece

See many at our domain, our blue means love
Cheers and welcoming we did, pure like a dove

Fierce sharks and hawks out like safari park
En bloc we sleep, no careless peep to the dark

Nevertheless, they horse around, we're free from attack
Relief, wow to our mask for the shield attach.

Whack and Wallop

Wham! That music is dainty.
But the bass drum gives it a kick.
Such tympanic contrast.
A tasteful tune with a rap,
such a whack, such a wallop.

Memory can tease, torture,
create that tasteful tune
while dredging up a thought
of something better not called back,
to avoid such a whack, such a wallop.
