Best Well Done Poems
Those good deeds can be done by all,
By young or old, by short or tall.
A smile may be the very thing
That makes a shriven heart to sing.
A tender hearted, richer man
Who writes a check because he can
Is no more blessed than is the one
Whom a much smaller deed has done.
An arm to help across the street,
A meal for homeless man to eat.
His faith in humankind restore
With food for lost dog at your door.
“The poor is with us”, Jesus said,
“In need of food, a home, a bed.”
You will find there's nothing to it.
Just see a need and then go do it.
Job Well Done
Momma, when you died I ask God 'Why'
He answered me quickly 'HER JOB IS DONE'
I started to cry pleading out to God
'That's my mother and I love her Dearly'.
God simply wispered close to my ear
'That's my child and I love her Dearer'.
I did'nt give up moma I CRIED out more
'I want to make her happy in life
and give her things that's nice'.
I heard a strong voice right close
to My ear no wisper just clear.
'I HAVE HER JUST REWARD'
I understood momma than and there
that there's nothing on earth
good enough for you here. By: Nedra Wilson {NOLA Poet}
I ask God to help me
When I can’t seem to pray
The sorrows are all around me
I just don’t know what to say
I ask God to show me
When I can’t find the way
Darkness compels me
To seek out the light of day
I ask God to guide me
When I’m lonely and afraid
Fear is like a monster
To discourage and dissuade
I ask God to relieve me
When I’m feeling so much pain
Heartaches are distressing
There seems to be nothing but rain
I ask God to accept me
When I’m unworthy of His mercy
Forgiveness is my yearning
Worries bring so much controversy
I ask God to protect me
When I’m restless and uneasy
Troubled by the darkest dread
Repulsed so I’m feeling queasy
I ask God to never leave me
When I’m not sure what to expect
Discouragement is all around
Reminding my heart of its defect
I ask God to always love me
When I feel so unlovable, so forlorn
Like I can’t make it here
In a world where I cry and mourn
I ask God to answer my prayers
When I need grace to survive
The tests of life, the darkest times
So that I can live and thrive
I ask God to always abide
When I can’t see the light
Shadows of despair surround me
Raining down like the dark night
I ask God to fill me
When I need love so alive
That I will always give away
Love that will delight, revive
I ask God for His Son
When I knew He was the only One
Who could truly make a way
To hear the words, “Well done!”

For a job well done,
my respect you have won.
In all you do,
your diligence is true.
Recognition is due.
If you need a job now and then,
feel free to come back again.
Inspired by another member's poem.
Reach November for December
the bird has gone to soup.
Ain’t no need to hang around;
the carolers are aggrouped.

Got my job done
Now sitting in the sun
Tried a computer to pawn
Treated me as the devil’s spawn
Met a man
It was so grand
I looked and I spied
Ronnie gave me a ride
Summer cooking on the beach,
Slap the sunblock where I can’t reach,
Baking in this broiling sun,
Ever since the day begun.
I’m roasting alive can’t you tell?
Touch my skin and I’ll scream like hell!
This is more than an alarming tan,
Someone said I’m a lobster man.
Sitting here I continue to broil,
Want some popcorn, just add some oil,
I’m finished now, I’m well done,
Cooking here in the summer sun.

I have known you now for many years. You have been with me through my hard
times and lots of tears.
You have been there when my demons take me to horrible places. You always
make me feel so safe. You helped ease my pain and most of all taught me how
to trust.
I know that our relationship has been a professional one. I can't help but
imagine your life having fun with friends and family just enjoying your life. I also
see the caring and compassion that I have always benefited from and it has
changed my life.
God has blessed me to have someone like you taking care of me. I will always
be grateful to you for your kindness and compassion which has continued to
make me safe today.
I will eventually have to say good-bye some day, and I want you to know the
memories I have will live on in my heart forever. I'll never forget you.
Work well* done warrants God's worthy wages.
*Galatians 6:9 - And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

There she stood, in a room all spic and span
Her name was Dorothea – the nun of Maryland
Ever so lightly, she picked flowers day and night
Oh! She was indeed the gift of God that did all her tasks
Did she happen to disobey her superiors and anger the ones above?
Obedient, classy and wise – the gift of God did as she was told.
Rummaging through antiques, she have found the key
Another key that held lies instead of answers, unfortunately.
How much
Is six times six?
If you say it's thirty six,
You are absolutely perfect.
Well Done.
Well Done
All used to assure me well done guy
I was not enough in that running high
The way they backed up if was fullest
Why now too I am after far that truest
But I believe the motivation in I grew
The tune of appreciation was not a few
Sweet nectar and free love emotional
Later I realized stood being structural
An inspiration in initial stage of that firm
Kept me running always pushing multiform
The reason which geared always brilliant
Satisfaction used to appear in all socialite
A tune of favor requires so in life always
Smiles from all families and relatives O guys
So keep sharing happy with all promisingly
That is the way to remain full and favorably.
Ok its four o’clock
My girl gets off at six
For dinner I’m wonderin
What I’m gonna fix
So I get online
To look up recipes
When she comes in
I want it to look like a dream
I put a cloth on the table
And two gold plates
Two candles in the middle
To brighten up her face
Roses
On the floor
To show her
there’s no one I love more
Now its five thirty
And the food is almost done
Thinkin to myself
This is really fun
Everything taste good
I cooked it to the T
All by myself
That I can’t believe
I hear her pull up
Keys jiggle outside
I run out the kitchen
And moved by the candle light
When she comes in
Her eyes moved to my position
She tried to speak
I stopped her and said listen
You’re my wife my love
For that you deserve so much more
But today I thought
I would surprise you when you came in the door
So I pulled out her seat
When she sat I uncovered the plate
And the smell in the air
Was how the food tasted
Cordon bleu with a hit of lemon
And salad on the side
I looked closely to her face
And a tear fell out her eye
So everything turns out good
And a smile is on my face
If I can say so myself
What a wonderful day
Today, yes today, he’s going on a trip,
A trip to the dusty side of town,
And when the truck pulls up there,
He merrily walks on down
The ramp to the brand new yard,
Where he’s paraded…. glorified,
And then he hears the man call out “SOLD”,
And he’s ushered to the side
Where he gets another inspection,
By the man with a stunning gun,
And his brains are sprayed all over the floor,
And he’s lifted up and hung
Then he’s drained of all he ever was,
Every thought and yearn and ache,
Till, by five days later on,
He gets eaten as a steak.
Along the highways of life,
There must be sacrifice.
Each of us is on a mission.
Each must make a decision.
We must sit, walk, and stand,
while avoiding quicksand.
Wise as serpents, bold as lions,
and harmless as doves.
Not allowing ourselves to become bitter,
but to be made sweeter by God' s love.
To those stumbling without light,
may I be a towering beckon in the night.
And when our work is finished under the sun,
May God say, "Good and faithful servant, well done".
