Best Warriors Poems
This one is for the broken,
hiding behind invisible bruising.
For the forgotten and the ones
who have forgotten us,
like the misunderstood misfits.
Who howl at the moon,
look beyond the stars,
for some form of understanding.
For the one you labeled a weirdo.
Who's life is a cocktail of corruption,
struggling with ignorant co-existence.
For the ones who have lost their voice,
unable to speak unspoken truths,
like the child of stolen innocence.
For the abused, the violated, the humiliated.
Those who chose to run and are still running.
Hope you find a safe haven to call home.
Like the ones who no longer dream,
due to demonic intrusions.
This one is for those who
continue to love ferociously.
Breathing genuinely in a world of
hypocrisy and artificial actions.
Who's hearts are an archive of
old songs, lost in the concept of time.
Their piano keys of darkness and light,
have eroded with each tremor,
but still refuse to sell their emotions.
Preferring an overdose of life
lost in lullabies of rain -
battling against ugliness of adversity.
Their hope eradicates thunder,
emanating clear blue skies -
souls illuminating like a ring of fire.
We all have a purpose, a personal potential,
find it, feel it, be it.
There will always be a mountain,
with wandering wayward winds -
but there are several ways to conquer it -
just believe in the beauty of your being.
We are warriors.

Some people have a reassuring smile
Always at ready no matter the time
Regardless of untold things on their minds--
They're the street-lamps burning all night
Comfort rules when they come around
For grief and pain then remain at bay
And aches of the night retreat in awe--
They're the dawn that illuminates dark
Answers they find when questions storm
They hold a sign when someone's lost
And when they speak, that becomes the norm--
They're the phrases wisdom is made of
Flowers in the midst of desert lands
A rain shower soothing in prolonged drought
Hope on the faces of distressed hearts--
They're the strength of weakened hands
Never confused between right and wrong
How they act mirrors the way they talk
Magic or special powers they don't have--
They're the goodwill of human hearts

Regarded as a warrior
this is true
Respect shown her a
definite must
Depth in knowledge
always knew
Not one to be flattered
by the lust
The fool she had played
long ago
Life's experience gave
her an edge
Not what's said but what
you show
Her shield she had taken
a pledged
Her words came natural
as I breathe
Those words only I can
understand
Warrior yet a voice that
could weave
When she fell, on her
feet she'd land
Ability to be seductive
or even fight
Either way she knew each
she'd win
Could be fearful yet a
stunning sight
Having loved only once
being her sin
Basic life she had left
so far behind
To rise above higher and
give her all
Was the best way once
she did find
So she could answer a
warriors call

Lord, place Thy Hand on the yoke of those who fly,
And guide them through the vast reaches of the sky.
Bring them safely through their perilous flight,
And may they ever look to Thee as their Guiding Light.
Lord, protect the sailors who sail the treacherous seas.
Calm the roiling waters that they may cruise with ease.
May they always look to Thee as their Pilot for support,
And with Thy guiding hand, bring them safely home to port.
Lord, protect the soldier with Thy mighty sword midst the battle.
Give him strength to press on despite the muskets' rattle.
Hear his fervent supplication for Thy protection from all harm,
And provide him with courage as he leans on Thy eternal arm.
Lord, shield the brave marine as he storms the dangerous strand.
Strengthen him with fortitude and provide Thy protective hand.
Surround him with Thy angels as he strives to overcome the foe.
Bring him safely through the conflict and upon him honor bestow.
Lord, bless and provide comfort to his family, for they also serve.
Until that day they are one again, give them hope and steady nerve.
Hear their prayers O' Lord, for the safe return of heroes dear,
And from their trust, hope and faith in Thee, may they never veer.

The moon had held a wickedness
So unlike many of night I've seen
Embraced in an eerie listessness
While projecting an ominous scene
This night a warriors life was lost
One who unselfishly fought for all
She'd pay no matter what the cost
Her battles she picked, was her call
See it wasn't by beast's razor claw
She was too wise for them you see
Warriors hold at least one fatal flaw
One taking her life setting her free
It was much like an evil deception
One thing she was unprepared for
Like every rule held an exception
This one cut deep to her very core
The downfall of so many it seems
Struck down by the blade of a love
Laying there her blood did stream
Had to rise was all she thought of
High above that love raised his sword
With a swoop drove it deep in her heart
Her eyes stared at the one she adored
He broke her soul, that's the worst part
Her story will live on for the good done
How what a brave soul she held so true
Yet she knew for all the battles she won
Brought her even closer to her final due

Warring wounded Warriors winded,
as they stand by the blood-stained shore;
Battalions breathily bruised and bended,
as they begin to march on for more…
Evil encounters evolve and enslave,
for their conquering captains do command;
As demons devour and deprave,
decompositional defaults within their demand.
Lachrymal lonely landscapes lament,
as deceptions and illusions take control;
Edacious entombment evokes,
evil incarnates infiltrating the immortal soul…
Weapons of war wager wild,
armored ambient angels lift their golden swords;
Egocentric evil must be exiled,
as we recover and resurrect for history records.

Oh, you mighty warriors of love
Ready be, with spear and sword in hand
For
Everlasting is the fight, against hate!

Epigram
Fire rises from His lips
“Let the wicked keep silence
I will mute the evil tongue
and shame fools that proclaim
right is wrong and wrong is right!”
Let us protect the innocent
and shield them from the
destroyer of their souls
God can accomplish this
can He not?
Let little girls be little girls
and little boys be little boys
God has made them so
has He not?
You who say you know Him
you who say you believe
be warriors on your knees
Pray!
Awaken from your complacency
this generation is in peril
pray for our land
pray for His kingdom to come
Pray!
Pray for repentance
pray for the hearts of the people
to return to You, oh God
Pray!
Pray for righteousness to prevail
pray for God”s mercy and grace
He is our only hope
in such a time as this
Pray!

Dramatic Monologue
They're on the front
They've got our backs
They are the wall
When hell attacks
Blue in it's face
Up to the max
They're on the front
They've got our backs
They've been tried
And they've been true
Our safety wears
The color.... blue
Grateful hearts
Will always stop
And say....Thank You
To a Cop!

"To All Christian Warriors Who Walk By Grace"
Hold on tight to your Helmet of Salvation.
The helmet is spiritual and it aims to protect the mind
Do this not because your Savior seeks to take it
Do this because Satan tempts you to give it up.
Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of Salvation
and the sword of the spirit
which is the word of God
Ephesians 2: 8-9
The Lord saved us by His
special favor when we believed
we can not take credit for this
It is a grace-gift from Jesus Christ
Salvation is not a reward
for the good things we have done
so none of us can boast in ourselves
Bear ye one anothers burdens
thus forfilling the law of Christ

Prose Poetry
We are waging a war both outside and in,
But with Christ on our side
There's no way we can't win.
He carried His cross and He died on it to.
To pay the price for all
Sins for me and for you.
We are armed with our faith
And we get stronger when we pray.
It's a life and death battle everyday.
He is the way and He is the light
And for His Kingdom we will do
What is right.
He is the living word and
He's our Salvation,
He has put out the call to
His mighty nation.
So don't back down and don't give in.
He died to save us from death and sin.
The enemy lies in the dark of the night,
But
As Warriors of God we will
Stand
And we will Fight...

Savage alas is the best
When the gods send me
into battle or new test
alone no more its "we"
A man who truly knows
a woman i'm much more
this being the life we chose
as our love not simple lore
fighting styles are legend
our skills being proficient
Here we are both destined
to us none are ever resistant
we share a respect and love
we never deny the other
what we would think of
much closer then any other
will always be there you see
he has my deepest respect
love for him and him for me
forever we two will protect

Called: A Soup Bowl Full of Christmas (A must read) Look for your picture, lol
Winged Warriors poem tops them all
I will give this poem a shot and see how far I will fall
Cats will play with Christmas balls
Winged Warriors tree has many Christmas balls
With pictures of poets placed on his Christmas balls
Narrated with a powerful voice, I am sure it's fake :-)
So many names on his Christmas list
I hope I am not on his naughty list after this
Thoughtful, kind and gentle he placed each ball cheerfully
Oh course mine is on a drooping limb about to fall
A brother poet I have adopted as my own
Mine being gone he is now
Stuck With Me, Little Wing over and out!

How did you find me here ghost
I thought I was done with your haunting
My Uncle told me you were my enemy
I know I left you in Baghdad
Yet here you are this night
But I still have no fear
No. it is I you shall fear
For I am the slayer of the ghost
I am the one who goes bump in the night
Don’t you forget, I am the one who does the haunting
Remember your dance with this devil dog in Baghdad
I am still your worst enemy
Besides, I forgave you, my enemy
For what, I am not sure, but I must admit I admired your lack of fear
That ugly, dusty night on that roof top in Baghdad
Now let us go our separate ways ghost
And agree to put an end to the haunting
Please go now, in to the night
I mean, I will let you to be this night
For I no longer consider you my enemy
Not this day, but one day ghost, I will put an end to my haunting
As I have promised you so many times, I will stop putting others in fear
Leave me now and you and I will be in peace ghost
I was sure the therapy left you in Baghdad
Yet here you are two clicks from Kabul, a long way from Baghdad
This mission does not concern you on this cold night
I wish you would let me be, so I can focus on the task at hand ghost
I have moved on now and I beg you do the same, for Sam found me a new enemy
You would be proud of this one too, for he also shows no fear
Please let me be, and stop the haunting
No? Then tonight, together, we must do the haunting
We can be on the same team, unlike Baghdad
Together, we will show no fear
Not us, not on this night
For they are now our enemy
Cover my six ghost
I dream of days before I met you, my self-created demon, days of innocence and laughter all gone; wow did I grow up fast in that sand box. Now here we are haunting this new land, high in the Hindu Kush on this frigid night.
Together on this mountain, nations away from that home you once called Baghdad, within ear shot of our new common enemy.
We are so close now demon I can smell ‘em; show no fear my constant companion, for you shall soon have some company. Perhaps their aim will be truer than yours and it will be me this time ghost.

Sestina
The warriors sword is sealed as the weeping souls who were taken by his blade echo out across time
and the walk of the warrior is filled with empty strides a quicken pace places distance between his heart and his mind
as each ambition is fulfilled upon angers vice,
his soul becomes emptier than ever and his heart remains cold as ice
he finds no pleasure in watching flowers grow but rather in cutting them down,
for they are flowers and he is sand he remains a prisoner of the blood soaked ground
