Warriors On Our Knees

Fire rises from His lips
“Let the wicked keep silence 
I will mute the evil tongue
and shame fools that proclaim 
right is wrong and wrong is right!”

Let us protect the innocent
and shield them from the 
destroyer of their souls
God can accomplish this
can He not? 

Let little girls be little girls
and little boys be little boys
God has made them so
has He not? 

You who say you know Him
you who say you believe
be warriors on your knees
Pray! 

Awaken from your complacency 
this generation is in peril
pray for our land
pray for His kingdom to come 
Pray! 

Pray for repentance 
pray for the hearts of the people 
to return to You, oh God
Pray! 

Pray for righteousness to prevail
pray for God”s mercy and grace 
He is our only hope 
in such a time as this 
Pray!
