A Warriors Call

Regarded as a warrior this is true Respect shown her a definite must Depth in knowledge always knew Not one to be flattered by the lust The fool she had played long ago Life's experience gave her an edge Not what's said but what you show Her shield she had taken a pledged Her words came natural as I breathe Those words only I can understand Warrior yet a voice that could weave When she fell, on her feet she'd land Ability to be seductive or even fight Either way she knew each she'd win Could be fearful yet a stunning sight Having loved only once being her sin Basic life she had left so far behind To rise above higher and give her all Was the best way once she did find So she could answer a warriors call

Well thank you Rick! But the thought of more women answering that call tends to be a bit scary lol some just were not meant to be so Rick! I truly like this strong "warrior spirit" that runs right through these warrior poems of your, Brenda...they are invigorating and uplifting; makes one feel as if they themselves can pick themselves up, when decidedly down -- and take on the world! John thank you so very much! And I believe if I can pick myself up then anyone can!;) I spent too much time looking for someone to help me up that I lost sight of myself.... I have never needed anyone (wanted yes but never needed) to make me happy I only needed to believe I deserved a happiness! And John I finally believe it! What an eye opener to say the least! So if I have to be a warrior to be like that then so be it... I will answer that warriors call! As always John your words are so appreciated!;) All my affection B;)
