Like a Flowing River

Like a flowing river
my spirit flows to where it goes,
out where the vast sea of life is,
fresh as a cold morning dew.

Seeking to fill this wide world
with all the love that I have,
tireless as a swift-flowing river,
endless as the blue, blue sky.

To love is what I am here for
to care for my fellowman;
the road is rough and thorny
yet my love lives endlessly
like a flowing river.

I may just be a little leaf
floating on the restless water
but I'll go anywhere it takes me
till I find you out in the sea.

Love Drops

The expressions of love that fall with the rain,
to soil the ground which we till to sustain.....

Life's fountain for love and the quench of a thirst,
humanity's fate can get better not worse....

Falling drops of love that shed through many tears,
just as raindrops fall because somebody cares....

Enjoy life to the fullest each and every day,
and if tomorrow doesn't come a drop of love
                      will still remain....

I Love All You Believers Number One

I really love all you who believe
Doesn’t matter who you are, what you are
Music comes from the music maker
Believers have a special gift,
They can hear the sound
I have asked to believe, maybe
I will hear your song
But with sound comes light
For what is one without the other?
And two eyes with which to see the light
The Lord took spittle and clay,
Put it on the blind man’s eyes
And simply said “believe and you can see”
We can see you Lord, we can hear you
That’s why I really love all you who believe

Heineken

The smell of Heineken is in the air
where is it at... tell me where!
I love the taste for some reason
I love the way it goes down so smooth
I love the way hardly no one I know feels the same
I guess its an acquired taste, I hand out no blame

Come Uppance

oh, lady it is useless
can't you see
he doesn't want you
anymore because
he is in love with me

so shake your long hair
at him
and walk toward
the door
because he is not
going
to love you anymore

maybe he has taken
your pride
and smashed it on
the floor

that is your bad
luck lady
can i help
you find the
door

Premium Member I Love To Read a Poem

I love to read a poem,
To me it’s simply great!
It’s not like reading a story,
It’s a much more higher rate.

You can really get the meaning,
Out of a short little verse,
And along with the rhyming,
It’s got a beat of course.

No matter how long it is,
Or even if it’s small,
I’ll always love to read a poem,
More than anything of all!

Folly

"this poem is not about what is written,
but what is not written. . . "

through the mind numbing fog
her crystal blue light houses appear
deeply penetrating my pale existence

hungered lips send tender whispers of love
sailing the wind to my moaning ear

she listens for ' I love you ' in the silence
our wayward hearts beckon to know
eternal passion through the distance

Wintry Dawn

May I touch thee beneath a springtide moon
with the warming of love's rapture
to synchronize our hearts with passion's tune.

Might I taste thine lips within summer's seethe:
soft and flared of cerise red hue;
to quench our pleasures and draw to appease.

Embrace thee I shall amongst autumnal rise:
leaves aflutter,semblable to hearts;
tepid winds breathe upon destiny's devise.

Should we ever part from such lovers' bliss;
thy pray our love shall never verge.
If a day comes to rend us,please remember this:

I shall reach thee amidst a wintry dawn,
in a pang-chilling memory
that no season of other love shall ever thaw.

All of It

Sins just honor our humanity
Our mistakes show our innocence
Our fade into the fateful eternity
Since our true goal is repentance

Things between get closer to the sun
It’s all stuck together with that airy glue
But it all moves freely until life is done
The rebellion contagious like the flu

When love becomes absent all becomes paralyzed
Our inevitable decent is now upon us
Everything is turning into coldness totally crystallized
But there won’t be anything to discuss

Everyone migrating from the most peaceful sea
It’s in love that everyone wants to be so gladly
Because it is this feeling that can truly set free
This must happen to all but this is a wishful plea

Just hope that everything can just go slow
So someone can feel the ground under their toes
Or so someone could hear the wind blow
Because under the sun’s mortal rays all of it glows

Being Freedom

What does it mean to be…

Having the courage to be the you that is free…

Free from feeling yourself a burden…

Free from worry which blocks your greatness window like a curtain…

Free from doubting you deserve treasure…

Free from seeking truth in false pleasure…

Free from tyranny that makes you fear…

Free from judgment’s killing spear…

Free to willingly give love to another…

Free to love yourself as your greatest brother…

Free to feel gratitude for all that you are…

This is true being, absolute from afar…

Limpid logical mind.
Euphoria erupts.
Nerve endings catapult
into nothingness.
Stretching slowly, to
an endless sanguine sea.
You drift timelessly.

You slowly regain
recognized presence.
You are not alone.
Tho you see no one,
love rests as a dove
within, without,
flooding your being.

I am to be naught?
Now, within, I know.
I am love edified in
God’s glorification.
To see me is to know
my thoughts, without.
No secrets abound.

No limitations exist.
All one, yet individual.
No ownership, no onus,
no value stored in secret.
We gravitate to an energy
of Love which is Him.
To Him I sing my song.

He is God within, without.
He is my central core.
He is my coming and going.
He is the answer to question.
He is my song and inspiration.
He is my love and intuition.
He is my home forever.

You Must Love More Than Yesterday

How you cope, friend...
being sad?
Hours don't pass that quickly:
you will be so bored!

Try very hard,
and win it all;
yes, they will admire you...
you will know for sure!
You must love more than yesterday,
you will know for sure!
How you deal with pain,
how you sleep alone?
How dreams slip from you?
They are inside you!

Be ready to love,
receive much more,
even though nobody gives;
you must love more than yesterday,
they are smiling now!
You must love more than yesterday,
they are smiling now!

Be strong and believe...
be glad, too!
No one is against you...
everything can be yours today!

Run, to reach love...
whenever you fall,
it will not leave you;
you're on safe shore!
You must love more than yesterday,
they all love you now!
You must love more than yesterday,
they all love you now!

Storms

Sometimes when you hear a storm
It's not because there's thunder,
It's the road that you are walking on
And the weight that you are under...
The burdens weighing on your shoulder
Never seem to lighten,
And even as we all grow older
Most of us keep fighting...
The ones you love become the reason
You have to keep on trying,
Since giving up becomes a lesion
To slowly leave you dying...
The next time that you hear a storm
It may be just another,
But embrace it so it can be worn
While the ones you love take cover...

Purple

The silence stills... the smile stays
the energy of love enhanced.
God's very own her sunshine rays
shine heavy on her own romanced,

She's leading us to reach us each
gifting with love and wrapping tight
her own gifts that done did beseech
passed ego's lay and own will's fight.

She hold presents for all to see,
and truly loves to make you wait,
but keeps them wrapped for us to be
well learned in patience that does bait,

anticipation in God's love
and joy in timing God's request
will have you looking up above,
joy waiting with your very best.

THE BOYS WHO WOULD BE KING
Dear Prince, I've dreamt your crown sets on my head,
Like many USA boys, in our prime
Not fantasy, but stuff of dreams, instead,
So we could shape the world and in our time;

So we could lead the dreamers in their quest
For God's Divinity, that sweetness for the soul,
For Goodness, Mercy, Hope, and all the rest
Of qualities that make life's worthy goal.

W've loved your Mother, as we know she's you,
And hands you down, these matters from her past,
To show mankind, that love alone can do,
Not very much without what makes a love to last.

Yes, I have dreamt I'd wear your crown one day,
In stuff of dreams, that God will bring your way.
