Premium Member Forgiveness

It can go both ways
Can be given
or received
It is an attribute
that must be valued
and utilized
on various occasions.
When you think
someone has betrayed you
or done you wrong
it is better
to forgive, realize
that sometimes
you have done
the same.
Life goes in circles,
things come and go,
there is an everlasting
crescendo of give and take
So go with the flow,
don't hold grudges

Premium Member My Own Poetic License

Sometimes when I write, I tend to stretch the truth.
Same as when I gossip; I've done that since my youth.
It's not so much deliberate, but to tell a story well,
Folks tend to stray from tedious facts to magnify the tale.

This habit's often utilized a bit, I have surmised,
In speeches heard at funerals for loved ones eulogized.
By writers of the news I'd say it ought not be employed.
But “doozies” can be found inside almost any tabloid.

I think, for my defense, especially writing nonsense,
I need to find the place to get my own poetic license.
I pose to you this question- In my practice as a poet,
If I get myself a license then, to whom should I then show it?

for Let 'er rip (the mention of poetic license made me want to do this one!)

Wandering the virtual
green fields of home,
I open the farmyard gate
fall into a haze of retrospect.
I see a “LMS Black Five” Locomotive
bellowing upon a utilized line,
ghostly sparks tantalizing
the embankment.
Below a paddock ploughed,
sown with scattered seed
to germinate this memory
of that time past.
I stroll the hoary lane
beneath a pale cold eve,
discover soft mist stirring
upon the low moor, in warps
of time, giving in to modernization.
Mile high bracken upon the Beacon
under a clementine moonlight,
in shadows drifting to and fro
like the tide upon the silken sea.
At the old cottage
in Sugar Hill,
I see a cut glass vase, sitting supreme
upon the polished surface
with rose, carnation and dahlias,
near by a collection of love
in all those wonderful bluebells
from Nesfield.

Premium Member He Has Given Us Flowers For These Reasons

Marigolds, roses, lilacs, cone flowers, bluebells, lily of the valley
They uplift my spirits, bring God into my forefront, show me love
The fragrance of these beauties is surpassed only by their hope
The optimism in the garden brings me into the forefront of goodness

Their colors entice my imagination, and revitalize my artist’s eye
I reach for colors, thinking of them immediately. Lilac- lavender,
Lavender – purple, red, orange, pink – marigolds and roses.
Flowers bring butterflies, bees, lady bugs, dragonflies and faeries.

Their blossoms delicate and gorgeous, yet hardy and resilient.
The wasps and hummingbirds dive into them with eager delight.
Flowers change my spirit, help my attitude, enhance my goodness.
Flowers uplift me, giving me hope, reminding me their maker is here.

The maker of flowers has utilized a palette of gorgeous colors.
He has instilled fragrances and aromas found nowhere else.
He has given us flowers, so we will be reminded of the rainbow
And also of his promise to the world.

Plastic Society

Tattle cries are just as loud as battle cries,
but the difference is
tears from mannequins dry on untouchable skin.
You may have a purpose, but your attempt at a movement
is motionless because your passion
is a carefully constructed image
replicated in a false ideology
that manifests into something specific
obtaining a manual manipulation.
A self servant visibility is indicative
of an egocentric personality and everything insinuated
to be perceptually believed as sacred
usually doesn't leave further than the tapping of your fingers.
You proselytize by regurgitating the ways
of a preferred deity and establish yourself
by turning your mirror to reflect the angle
of how you want to be seen and adjust your thoughts
for a higher seat in your vanity
in order to possess everything in your hypocrisy.
The feedback you get initiates a sedimentary mask
you proudly wear and give a name to because
as a statuesque representative in an upscale consumption
of physical and mindful gluttony,
it is the exemplary rock to inscribe your identity.
You disguise it as spirituality, enlightenment, or awareness
labeling it as politics, religion, parenting, racism,
abortion, extortion, activism, or sexism.
It does not, in anyway, alleviate
the struggling strong minded from with holding their weeps
on garments bled by friends in unsung tongues and private sin,
in time well spent where the secrets
of the heart are kept for keeps rather than exposed and disposed of
in a widespread generic documentary
for the world to see the effects of their warfare.
Where words of vulnerability and exposed nerves
are perceived as nothing but memes and black sheep
trying to be shepherds making lists of things
to better humanity in articles utilized by a machine.
As if the top ten life hacks will take neglcted children
out of the slums of a poor shack
and stop the hateful attacks on those who need welfare.
The bandaging by labeling and over medicating
will not eradicate the urgent need for eye to eye,
flesh to flesh, heart to heart
laughing, kind, grateful, melting of this
plastic society.

Premium Member I'M Traveling Light

I have a flash for you ...

Think you can hang with me??
I doubt it ... I keep a pretty quick pace, if you know what I mean!
I may be very small, but I'm pretty special ...
Just the knowledge of my existence

Has led to amazing things!
Things like lasers, Bose–Einstein condensation, Quantum field theory,
And the probabilistic interpretation of quantum mechanics ...
I'm a very particular particle, you see!

A very elementary particle ...
The quantum of the electromagnetic field,
Electromagnetic radiation such as light,
And the force carrier for the electromagnetic force!

I am as fast as fast can be,
Traveling at the speed of light in a vacuum,
Even though I have no rest mass at all!
I am also special in that I can exhibit the properties of a WAVE, too!

I can be refracted by a lens and exhibit wave interference with myself,
And I can behave as a particle,
With definite and finite measurable position and momentum!
I've been applied to photochemistry ...

I've been used for high-resolution microscopy ...
I've even been utilized for measurements of molecular distances!
Recently, I've been studied as an element of quantum computers,
And for applications in optical imaging and optical communication,

(Like quantum cryptography) ...
Too fast and far too tiny to hold, so I doubt you can keep up!
But, oh, am I important!
Einstein knew how important I was,

Even when people told him I didn't exist ...
He KNEW, and persisted!
Oh, you should see what I'm doing at CERN!
You will, you will ...

And it will blow your mind!
You see, I'm traveling light ...
And I'm very, very bright ...
But you can call me ...

PHOTON!

A Cave Man Day

A Cave Man Day

One day long ago a cave man slept uncomfortably
The brutal sun, good for nothing, woke him up abruptly
Ants crawled all over his body and began to bite
He ate every one of them one by one
Using his fingers and his thumbs as utensils
There was no name for breakfast at the time
Or the creatures who ate his parents

Cave man was all alone and had a simple job
To find more food and stay alive
Fire had just been invented and utilized
This miracle he took with him everywhere
The other 2 gods were sun and water
Fire would be his favorite deity

The man was good at picking berries, consuming plants
All of this at great peril and certainly by chance
They could be poisonous or make him sick
All cave men had to do this to survive and take the risk
He used rocks and sharp ended sticks to take down pray
Skills taught to him by his dad before he died

Cave man was short, stout, mean, with green and jagged teeth
And made his way through Stone Age foliage
He had a bushy beard and scratched it
Wondered what he was looking at… What was that?!
When he met a woman with long legs and tangled hair
She had nice features for a cave girl from that age

He took her by the hair and clubbed her on the head
Dated, copulated and married on the spot
What a lovely wedding day
They moved into a cave

Incriminations bolster theories

salutations, delusions
sanctimoniously intensified
by the written word

Your philosophy exculpates
delirium while triumphs
wisk away irremediable
suppositions that defy logic.
Hypocrisy appears delineated

with confused ramifications.
Cerebrum and Cerebellum
transpose inaccuracies into
soft, sweet music to the soul.
Artistic creation utilized

to succumb basic instincts
with craft: skills of

manifest themselves in
your daily realm as you

All The World's A Stage
You'd better believe it

Each Act encircles
daily excursions circumstantially

transversing through eternity.
Conversations comprise

realms of performances
pestered with dalliances

circumventing stratospheres.
You surmise it's

not a dream,
but utopian reality

as you project your image
into telescopic

Karmic repercussions
drifting through sequential

blockades of hurdles
terminating serenity.

Peacefulness serenades auras
of dancing mistruths

utilized to perfection
under lights.

You take a final bow,
go to sleep.

Premium Member Zen In the Art of Cooking Millet

.
How about a One Pot Kitchen
Minimalist to the Max
First sort out Food
Millet - 5 grains
And a Clay pot
Rotate millets
Every 2 days
Soak and boil
Soak for 8 hrs.
In 5 times water
Leave it overnight
Thereafter COOK it !
first thing in the morning
Slow cook an hour on flame
Toss some greens and veggies
The porridge gets ready as base
With warm soup as the first course
add some crackling spice in Niger oil
Now we need just 1 more vessel ..that ..is ...all
I use a cast Iron ‘ kadahi’ from here on
Flame it hot ..cast iron pot...pour Ghee
Add some chopped onions spices et al.
The cooked millet porridge is tossed in
And voila you can make any no.of dish
And yes. NO compulsory need for Salt.
Now the real fun is ‘time management’
In a 24 hour cycle- Clay Pot is utilized
8 hrs soak 16 hrs to store the cooked
Lunch at 11 dinner by7 that’s 8+16 hr
(A 16 hr gap is suggested in between
2 big meals with light eat in evening)
Yes. Entire day the food stays fresh
+ Slight fermenting is encouraged
some add curd or coconut water
Sprouts ginger garlic turmeric
Boiled eggs potatoes sage
Vinegar Garnish
.
Millets in Clay pot

Shrubbery Urgent

Shrubbery is critical for survival
An absolute emergency
The most urgent crisis in existence
The human condition! The human condition! Think!
The most important thing in the universe!
Chant it one hundred times per night while chewing crackers
A chair is optional when morning comes
Contemplate due diligence, care, when sharing it
Tenderness is required at all times
Shrubbery is kind and wise
An absolute imperative is to love your shrub
Capital tools should be utilized when planting
Capital letters apply when writing SHRUBBERY
Slow enunciation, syllabification when speaking it is law
Improper elocution equals execution and sometimes death
Smile when pronouncing it
Whisper gently to it and it will answer back
“Bushes are bushes.” “Trees are trees.” “We are Shrubbery.”
“Genuflect before each bush.”
“Respect your Shrubbery.”

Nonsense

Life is hazing
people dazing
have you ever pulled a gun inside your head?
blow out your brain and still have your mind instead...

coffee
fountain
chimney
mountain

those words sound nice but don't come right in bed
waking for a drill but drinking at a bar for bread

life is joking
people choking
ever wonder why the old man just laughs at you?
smiles at your position, knows that your a dead man too...

Inner voices

Awkward choices
Mail bride orders

Thumbing borders
Hoping wishes
Easy dishes

Washing dreams
Alien schemes
Lion cowards
Rusty showers
Utilized mirrors
Synchronized prisoners

life is smoking
people toking
notice how your eyes have turn out to be a no hand clue
is it me or now you turn to know your crazy too?

coo coo ca choo coo coo ca choo...
