Forgiveness

It can go both ways Can be given or received It is an attribute that must be valued and utilized on various occasions. When you think someone has betrayed you or done you wrong it is better to forgive, realize that sometimes you have done the same. Life goes in circles, things come and go, there is an everlasting crescendo of give and take So go with the flow, don't hold grudges Forgive

The failure to forgive can end forever even close relationships. Pity, but true. Good poem.

I like this poem -it’s short, sweet, and to the point about a subject so important. My pastor would like this too, since forgiveness is preached in church. I enjoyed your poems sent to my inbox today, especially this and “Melodic”. Such beautiful images in that one. Congratulations on becoming a lifetime member.

Forgiveness is liberating. Freedom of the soul. Great expression of the subject matter, Frank. ~ Elaine

Perfectly timed for me to see this morning Frank. My sister and I had a major blowout recently, while she was on a home visit to Ireland from far away Australia. I have now read it twice and hope she will too when I send it to her. Thank you.

I agree, and by holding grudges we also hurt ourselves. It really is easier to just move on and let things go... Such an expressive piece of poetry filled with great words of wisdom... So well done Frank :)
