Best Twirling Poems
Warmth, surrounded me…always
My lips, my eyes, closed…
Mesmerized by the darkness that brought me consolation
I remember there were colors under those lids,
Green, spurts of purple…and sporadic yellows and reds
They danced and flashed
Whenever your voice rumbled and vibrated my abode
I remember the earthquakes of laughter
That pushed me against the soft, supported side…
I merely bounced back to the middle again
My legs, bending, and then kicking off against it
My body twirling in the lavish liquid
Natural twists and turns that were later underappreciated
Twists and turns that were who I was
I didn’t realize they would always shape who I am
Deep voice—music—surrounded me always
My ears opened to the muffled marvel
Curious of the outside world that birthed the mysteries of who I am
I recall frustration, kicking against your soft insides….
Colors of black, gray tints, and calming browns…
That left me gurgling for more of those outside sounds
Because that first day I heard the lightning yells
The hot swells of your insides boiled
My body twirled and twirled as I heard you wail
Crying…sobbing…
My heart beat faster—wanting more to leave this vessel
Wanting to be a separate thing
Wanting all to hear me scream
To feel the cold, rubbery hands of a stranger
Lift me—and to your breast—gift me
It was always the warmth of the liquid
And the comfort of our bond
That always remained
Bonds and beliefs never dry
Blood is blood
Color is color
It is living to be separate that makes us gods

A slogan's a salesmans' smile
twirling mustachioed ends
Lures your reason into a black hole
as the devil takes hold of your soul
Twirling, whirling, swirling into myself
I listen to my ready soul
I take blank canvas off a shelf
Twirling, whirling, swirling into myself
My muse becomes my happy elf.
As I begin, I feel whole
Twirling, whirling, swirling into myself
I listen to my ready soul
Pine needles and dead leaves
twirling, swirling in a dance.
Falling as fast as snowflakes now.
This ballet, their last chance.
To the ground, a carpet forms.
Dead they are as the summer past.
Twirling, swirling on their journey
in the Autumn's windy blast.
Yellow, red and green the leaves
blowing in the windy sky
to their final resting place
'neath the trees where they now lie.
Dancing trees wave their arms
and set their leaves and needles free.
Twirling , swirling in the wind
in glorious dance for all to see.
It's early in the morning and she's never been to bed,
swirling and twirling words are circling in her head..
She wishes to peel back time and live days in reverse.
She wonders if this life has been a gift or a curse.
Too many days filled with anxiety and dread.
Resilience was her brilliance people always said.
A series of ineffective meds falling short of intervening,
those troubling thoughts, keep bubbling up, steaming.
Incapable of moving on. It's too great a task.
There's so much comfort living with the ghosts of her past.
swirling, whirling round the room
dress twirling, men swoon
she moves with grace
arms out to brace
her fall
and they all
stare as she goes down
twisted in her gown
she turns red
almost fled
but he was there
only one to care
helps her up
hands cup
her face, pulls her close
touches her nose
they kiss, they dance
he took a chance
together
forever
with twins
of the same gender
alien’s from space
it’s as if they do it separate
but juggle
moonlight dancers
nasal decongestant
take tuns
shadows face off
they dance into the night
in they’re own gay full moods
Twisting Twirling Tatiana
Tatiana tried the taunt trampoline,
The Tribune tattler Thadeus touted,
triumphed as the town's tip-top teen,
takes the title, "Tatiana" they shouted.

Ten-times-twenty twirling frog was from Mathematics Town.
She danced her numbers better than any clown.
She spun sixes and sevens as if they were not straight.
I was impressed she could multiply up to twenty-eight.
I saw her divide sixty-four-thousand-and-twenty-two
By many numbers that I could never hope to do.
I do not do math, it is not my talent, interest, or game.
So I am glad we have ten-times-twenty, who has an appropriate name.
They twirl in a group
guided by the one in the center
all spinning to the same tempo
the same crying flute
the same source
a little solar system
they are held together
those watching
human or otherwise
cannot help but want to join in
it seems fun, mysterious
calm
but not a calm before a storm
NO
calm before the sudden realization
the Self-Actualization that
nothing remains but one thing
Love
produced by the Sema
that dance before all creation
and that creator
twirling through time
" The twirling flying of thoughts in vivid mind "
An essential form of one individual,
The journey of everyday routine tasks;
A fantastic view of the mind.
The twirling flying of thoughts captured the mind;
Deep thought asks questions.
The wave of thoughts goes round and round
Circling in the galaxy of the mind.
The passion, vision, dream, hope, expectation,
Longing and experiences put together
To create matter in the mind
The mind eye open;
Creates a unique fantastic sight of imagination;
Wondering, wandering;
Capture the emotion and feeling
To express the nature of one's own person
In the dimension of the imaginary mind.
At last, it rests in the eyes of people,
Recognizing the concept of the creative mind,
Significant; phenomenon,
That allows an excellent effect on life's existence.

I’m just twirling in the center of my room.
I’ve got way too much to do.
Has that ever happened to you?
I’m assailed, derailed and impaled by indecision.
I can’t find my lucky pencil and I have a final in 90 minutes
I have lab results to qualify and I’ve a term paper to finish.
I have two problem-sets due and I must arrange movers.
Despite my burn-out, I should start packing for move-out.
In order to get our reservations and tickets in hand,
we’ve got to finalize our summer plans.
On my theoretical schedule - I’m behind -
oh, and there’s a mountain of laundry to climb.
In finals week everything is ratcheted up.
and there’s the weighty and unavoidable demands of sleep.
I’m just a girl about to pass out in her room, over-caffeineed,
from chugging a large, iced coffee after 3 hours of sleep.
I’ve read that stress can affect valuations.
I think it’s true.
I twirl.

Garden show at two if you please
Sweet flowers twinkling in the breeze
I know it may sound rather curt
Hollyhock maiden twirling skirt
Dragonfly troop comes in to squeeze
One is jiggling nature’s keys
Water drop please, a tiny squirt
Hollyhock maiden twirling skirt
Sit down with roses and sweet peas
The pollen count might make you wheeze
Floozy is such a teasing flirt
Hollyhock maiden twirling skirt
Here come the butterflies and bees
Mud dabber wasps too if you please
Brings shame to our sweet Kansas dirt
Hollyhock maiden twirling skirt
Twirling in my happy zone I give a little smile, now chilling.
Bird comes by tweeting. I feel a little lift, releasing the bad.
Was it a wren or robin? Sparrow perhaps. It is trilling.
Whirling of the day shows me so much joy to be had.
The window shows a gloomy day, but I ignore this completely.
Living in my own world, I can recreate enthusiasm and happy joy.
My imagination creates a world of fantasy, beautifully and neatly.
Here comes a grumpy person, I step over them as if they are a toy.
I dance my troubles into a storm sewer and continue down the street.
The key to excitement is to focus on the best outcomes as they say.
I hear someone say “She is always smiling. She is really rather neat.
It is up to me to fool my brain into having a happy time every day.
Tranquility is a tiny creature
who dances for me on the grass;
doing funny acrobatic stunts,
I love her twitchy fluffy tail;
My Lily
silly girl
sings shrilly
frilly twirls
so silly !
