Twirling In My Happy Zone

Twirling in my happy zone I give a little smile, now chilling.
Bird comes by tweeting. I feel a little lift, releasing the bad.
Was it a wren or robin? Sparrow perhaps. It is trilling.
Whirling of the day shows me so much joy to be had.

The window shows a gloomy day, but I ignore this completely.
Living in my own world, I can recreate enthusiasm and happy joy.
My imagination creates a world of fantasy, beautifully and neatly.
Here comes a grumpy person, I step over them as if they are a toy.

I dance my troubles into a storm sewer and continue down the street.
The key to excitement is to focus on the best outcomes as they say.
I hear someone say “She is always smiling. She is really rather neat.
It is up to me to fool my brain into having a happy time every day.

Hmmm..."focus on the best outcomes." My, I really like that phrase. If you always smile, people will wonder what you've been up to. Of course, keep smiling, keep them wondering!

I have to focus on the positives; my soul depends on it.
