Best Tweaks Poems
Sometimes In silence
I question citrine stars~
what streams beneath
murky waters,
Is hope still flowing
through rusty ripples,
why do we live
in an orb
of sheer blindness,
would the wind
ever seize tunnels
behind the black hole,
or are we destined
to narrate novels
too narrow and unseen
for the naked eyes.
Whilst the earth
lies dreaming,
manifesting milky-ways
quilted on magical mats,
wishing, hoping, praying
that pastel colored patience
and crystal clear compassion
would vaguely sway
like glowing fireflies
amongst the darkest
edges of innermost core.
Transmitting seraphic
breezes upon
tender branches
of silk cotton trees.
But amidst the
destructive defacing
of turquoise heart
within evergreen forests,
sun and the
moon still flicker
streaks of poetry
along the linings
of tattered
tweaks and wilted weed.
Yet worldly impulses
fail to remember
that mother nature
is in need of kindness,
as she’s been
fed poisonous petals
dipped in a quagmire
of ignorance.
Escorting her
golden spirits into an
inexorable grievance,
as ghastly greediness
left no rosy seasoning,
of soils we strolled,
paths unnamed and
undiscovered halt,
questioning toils
of intrinsic creation~
the earth lies
in solitary slumber,
for in delicate dreams
we sing songs
of tranquility,
more mellifluous
than the burning
fumes we
inhale mindlessly.
Talent is when you know how to do something
without any understanding of why or how you do it
Talent is automatic, talent is enthusiasm, talent is pure love of doing
She comes in all shapes and sizes
She falls out of the sky
She tweaks your nose
She is playful and friendly
Talent is your best friend
But sometimes your worst enemy
if your talent is something everyone needs
but no one wants to pay for.
Talent is excitement, talent is love, talent is hope.
Talent is obvious, but sometimes not to you.
However, to everyone around you.

It is undeniable that anguish prevails
It hovers close to a lilting voice
There are no strains to rejoice
Once the beat soars, its genesis tweaks.
Giving alms is obvious
Beyond the ethics of the tithing ritual
Coins jingle, evoking a sound
A decrease in the supply of food.
Newborns lack hearing and verbal ability
The elderly sage dresses chaotically
Elfin babies desire soft touch and warmth
Akin to their late mother's calming palm.
Completely lacking in decency
Deep, the ears were concealed
Whilst untamed jaws sow turmoil
It sinks as a modest, rusted nail.
The crowd heartily jeered
Tears fell over their faces relentlessly
Failure was diligently earned
Mass disgust reached high levels.
The whips roared with mirth
Frames grudgingly bore this duty
Correct ideals will be reinstated
Inept debt must be repaid in full.
As I drift through all the loneliness
That seems to harness itself to the day
We put ourselves out there in hopes we sway
A love that will portray the kind of girl
That makes all my loneliness slip away
One who isn't afraid of her feelings on display
To find a love worthy of a man who likes to pray
Who would never play a girl in any dirty way
A woman who wants to be a wife that holds the key
To cast her love shadow all around thee
That frees all the loneliness as far as I can see
If God would have intended for us to be alone
Then he wouldn't have sewn
All this love that has grown up inside of me
Life is full of blessings that we need to foresee
To have all these feelings that have come to be
From the gravity that has turned up the degree
When we both seek to reach for the love we agree
Peaks all the emotions that we both breath
We will succeed in what love truly needs
A man and a woman living the golden opportunity
That tweaks our imagination
When we build such a strong foundation
Knowing that life teaches us
We are not designed to be alone
Not now not ever as far as we can roam
When everything with you sets the right tone
That leads to us never living alone
With a love like ours
We can call our very own
...for Stacey Haislop
A lady at a window writing,
measuring her words with strict precision.
She takes a sip of tea
as if to fuel her imagination.
Memories go drifting by - a brother
playing basketball, the softness
of a springtime rain, the anger
of an autumn sky, a flash,
and thunder rumbling.
Smells and sounds, grist
to her mill. Nothing spoils
her view until her best attempt is done.
Still dissatisfied she tweaks
and fiddles, substitutes a weak word
for a stronger one. At last content
she sets aside her pen.
Yes, they will feel her now,
know the beauty in her mind,
and know that she is always here to find.
Sex is not the answer... sex is the question
“Yes” is the answer... but it's only a suggestion
The choice is yours
Your illnesses it cures
The one thing that tweaks your tweaker without exception
Racing the oval of tide
Watching the sun and moon collide
Riding on horses in the oval of fate
Saddling on courses in the ring of slate
Horses in breeds of colors and shade
Forces in creeds of odors and glade
Mares and lasses of cold and wintry grounds
Grasses and races on parch, dusty mounds
Sun speaks of myths and bounds of horses' blether
Moon tweaks on blithes and squally weather
Sun and moon are light and dark horses
Scuttling, bustling in many races
Sprinting is a long distance course
Glinting and weltering without remorse
Humans breathe as horses, treading and running with reins
Born to win in the oval... praying, striving with strong veins!
Alone I roam the dreamland wood
sombre and empty, dark my mood
vain hope to meet my love denied
a throbbing, pumping ache inside
afar a gleaming stream of blue:
mauve, purple, lilac mixed in hue
‘longside the one in dreams is mine
soft hazel eyes and features fine
He becks me close with comely smile
trance-like I float what seems a mile
a fragrant sweet around unfolds
a wondrous sight my eye beholds:
a bed of jasmine, handpicked all
my loved one smiles with look enthralled
He tweaks my nose with twinkling eye
within and –out I’m set afire
he mouths the words our eyes portray
lights fiery love long kept at bay
swept off our feet and smitten deep
entranced our eyes with want to keep
We make sweet love, as lovers do
declare our love, sincere and true
on bed of jasmine hands roam free
scent mingles with heart’s melody
both hearts in tandem skip a beat
then pick up pace in lustful heat
pulsating passion multiplies
we merge as one with moans and sighs....
Seconds, minutes, and hours
Days, weeks, months, and years
Pass so quickly with the breeze's tears
With no limits to stop their powers
Lives are tied to their waists
Where no one can escape into different times
That touched their lives with beautiful chimes
While others awaited their flights
They meet many people in their path
And invite many newborns to their parade
Providing each with a unique cascade
That beholds their destiny as a shallow bath
Time flutters away so quickly
Where newborns stretch and grow
Sailing across all the stages their chateau
Presenting the moments they will pass by
Newborns, then, become old people
That sit on a rocking chair
Helpless, tired, and exhausted from smell of the working air
Unable to climb their inviters' steeple
One day, old people's breathing ceases
And tears begin to gush down many cheeks
Muted by the sorrow filled within their tweaks
As the old people. the brave leaders, wave their good byes
For, they left many stranded from their tender
With no one else to replace it
As blocks of emptiness fill many with whit
As the leaders shall never return with a splendor
Seconds, minutes, and hours
Days, weeks, months, and years
Took many of our beloved old people, our leaders
As the eye sight is prevented from seeing then further more...
Obstruction of Corruption
If it really was inclusive
Could it also be intrusive
And had it been obstructive
What it created was corruptive
All confused with collusive.
Here are some tweaks
for you lawyer freaks.
Jim Horn
I thought I knew the way things work
The twists and tweaks and all the quirks
I thought I knew my way around
At fifty three a man of town
From my birth until my grave
I cannot work my microwave
I read that damn book upside down
Inside out and round and round
Things don't cook early
Things don't cook late
They just stay static on the plate
They don't go up
They don't go down
Left or right or round and round
Cook them once, cook them twice
Plated meals are cold as ice
One min, two min, even three
The damn thing just won't work for me
So I sit here and grow so thin
Are you supposed to plug it in
FRAGILE BUT DETERMINED
When leafage brushes hues of gold and brown
painting a canvass delighting the senses. The mind
tickled in imagination to wander, wonder round.
Amidst tweaks heard from brittle lumber's arms:
a seasonal alopecia brought by winds, crisp-cold.
Breezy chill caress, frenzy fanning sometime in a flash.
I tag his hands, stepping nearer for better warmth...
Rustling running crystal water tumbling to rocks
yet still, effortless flowing and flowing yelling life!
So must we even when dragging miseries arise
standing unconditionally, fragile but determined.
A whispher of prayer roar, like ocean currents
melting stony hearts. Resurrected beats drum
hopeful, lub, dub! Lub-dub! Lungs in fever air
resonating flowering depthness of undying faith

Make a start
Not in any order
Go on the outer
Then circle the border
Fly your kite, let it soar
Do not take less, when you can get more
Never you sigh,
Or ask the reason why
Break free, break free
Glide through the rapture
Ride the torrid winds
Expand your horizon
Search for hidden things
Play your music high
Play your music low
The salient notes, the hidden crescendos
Floating and waning, entering chasms
Soar to where eagles fly
Let me shout, take me high
For brave men seek glory
While cowards choose to die
Never to gain freedom from
Failure to try
Break down the walls, join the battle
Jericho's walls were the trumpeter's cotton
As the orchestra plays
And conductor wields his baton
The fiddler tweaks his notes
To the strings of the harper's tussle
A harmony of notes
Toeing and frooing, crescendos growing
Seeds are sown and harvest flowing
Savour your journey, never to be forgotten.
In passionate embraces
Spoil me rotten.
Drink from the fountain
Take from the well
Wield your magic ,then cast your spell.
Not in any order
No rules are laid
Just make the effort
Go on the outer but don't cross the border..
Braid My Hair
Won’t you please braid my hair?
As you part your legs and I sit in between.
I feel the strength of your thighs as I close my eyes
And you comb those rough edges….
Tweaks of pain as you comb my mane.
Neither one of us verbal
But our spirits just won’t stop conversing…
As you braid my hair.
Come on and braid my hair.
As you lay parts for foundation
And fill each crease with that soothing oil
That nourishes my scalp….and my soul.
Once you’ve covered the entire dome
You massage that balm into my scalp…into my pores.
Your touch heals my sores and I have no choice
But to mute that negative voice…
As you braid my hair.
Just be patient and braid my hair.
As you grab strands and intertwine
My precious locks into rows so effortlessly…
So effectively.
I sit as a child in anticipation
Patiently awaiting the unveiling of your creation.
Will you accent my beauty or reveal my flaws?
In your eyes, do I even have flaws at all?
I sit still and tall only moving my head
According to your directions.
I have faith in your skill; I trust your protection.
We sit in peace and in calm.
There’s no place here for harm…not between you and I.
And since the rest of the world is out there
For them we have no care
As I heal you and you heal me….
As you braid my hair.
When you are done, I stand and behold your talent
Smiling at myself in the mirror like a little girl.
And you enjoy the thrill.
Who could have known two souls
Could bond so strongly through one simple action.
Your willingness to accept the challenge
And my faith in you for even asking
Is enough to send us both basking
To a spiritual place that we’ve both been lacking…
And I abruptly awake from the dream that I was having.
A dream that left me both sighing and laughing.
And I eagerly await the day that will come….
At some point in my life when I’ll ask you
Though bashfully…
Will you please braid my hair?
Trump Over and Over
Around with him have to hassle and hassle
So he built Trump Tower which is a castle
And of does deliberately seem to be proud
Can always be seen standing out in a crowd.
Trump surely delights in all of its dazzle
Right along with much abundant razzle
And decided to add to his drastic dream
By buying a formidable football team.
Team had played games weeks after weeks
Then he would send out tweets and tweaks
About making his fabulous fortune and fame
Doing dirty deeds and up others did frame.
Now no matter where he may have went
Became known as Trump the Turbulent
Stirring up bad weather and also much
With Republican Party staying in touch.
Now of Trump wish they would see less
And are trying to straighten out big mess
Which they will always have been in
Over and over and again and again.
So why would anyone ever want Trump
After putting him together lump and lump
To try and swallow he has become a hard pill
What else would you expect from an imbecile?
