Yellow flower, grieving flower, pale flower,
You were burnt by the sun and the hot rain.
Ripe flower, matured flower, immaculate flower,
You've nevertheless kept your phenomenal beauty sane.

The half-yellow and the half-green leaves
Are trying to mimic your beautiful color.
Mother Nature and Fauna are profusely in tears,
And Squirrel and Nightingale in a state of horror.

Flower of one of the most somber and romantic seasons,
Your exceptional beauty merits great admirations
And your sweet and delicious sap is beyond words.

Flower, I'm coming tonight to rest on your turfs,
To contemplate the stars and the sparks,
The abandoned branches and the rods floating in the parks.

French version
Fleur d'Automne

Fleur jaune, fleur triste, fleur pâle;
Le soleil t'a brûlée et la pluie t'a échaudée;
Fleur mûre, fleur maturée, fleur immaculée;
Malgré tout, tu as gardé ta beauté phénoménale.

Woman of rationality
not known to all men.
Countess of Mercia,
scent of a woman.
Lover of masses,
dream of sashes.
In anticipation
no other man tried,
Wooing the coveted one
fear of life taunts
nobody ever haunts.
A modest woman she was,
a clean woman that was.
Up in the hills
travels without fear,
down the hills she fills
with her voice people hear.
In many trails
she hops and drills.
In open seas
she crave for krills.
Strong woman thinks all,
grown woman walks tall.
In each flight she makes
no man's plight is at stake.
Never wondered how hard life is
In an instant, life heals.
For the strong woman without fierce
no hurting arrows can pierce.
Savagery is not bravery
for any lass of Coventry.
Thinking of good deeds that last
no heroism will rust.
Aigrettes pose as nobility,
not for lass of simplicity.
Half of Leofric,
Piece of heroic.
Levy for serfs,
burden of turfs.
Then one day casted
a lean woman's body...
body of beauty,
honor of beauty.
How the heroine perished
nobody cherished.
A living legend she was,
a myth that never was!

' In Just a Glimpse '

" I open the door and cross the threshold of imagination "

In the midst of woods
A cryptic houri's crooning
Euphony - suffused.

Nocturnal deity humming her lyrical milieu
Yarn of Utopian hymn of nostalgia
Missing her sublime empyrean realm, now ...
Place seems so eccentric ... strange ensued in just a flash
How mind's eye brought this door to reach " LIMITLESS "

Facing the Ingress of CHANGE
Goddess of melody stepped and witnessed the other world behind the realm
A cyan orb with burning effulgent daystar - mirrored, reflected
Drawing up the facsimile of lustrous sparks of luminescence
Planet surrounded by towering trees oscillating
Dancing together with the blithesome rhythmic gust of cool breeze
Nymphalid gliding, vagabonding with grace and elegance
Bragging its chromatic stunning ala above the turfs embracing the land
Rocks, pebbles, grass, insects and animals in harmony
Clouds, birds, skies, heaven and earth in equilibrium
Like music - heavenly, perfect, profound, and heartfelt
Factual sanctuary - undisturbed habitat of existence
Home of soothing silence - obscure, raw ...
Goddess now a HUMAN
Mortal - in time, will cease and die. . .

*^* take the vivacious steps of my world's elated lilt *^*

Burning effulgent golden daystar - mirrored, reflected
Drawing up the facsimile of faith and luminescence
Trees oscillate and dance together with the rhythmic gust of breeze
Air - blowing and puffing, zephyr cooled by the brook
Turfs overran the land with exultation and furore
Fondling, gripping, and cuddling the headstream
Odoratas - ample-petaled,whitish-pink flower lilies
Bobbing in the reverberating melody of undulated waves
Nymphalid - gliding, vagabonding with elegance
Bragging its chromatic colorful ala above the stream current
Cervids drinking serenely with potable crystalline water
Salmons plunging, swimming for life and subsistence
Sedimentary rocks carried away gently, instinctively
Indigenous sanctuary - obscure, raw
Undisturbed habitat of existence
Factual heaven - midst of the woodland
Home of soothing silence - rivulet of my daydream.

Burning, gleaming effulgent golden daystar - mirrored, reflected, pictured
Drawing up the facsimile of faith, ardour and iridescence
Trees oscillate and dance together with the rhythmic, dulcet gust of breeze
Air - blowing and puffing, zephyr cooled , frozen by the brook
Turfs overran and overlaid the land with exultation and furore
Fondling, gripping, and cuddling the head stream
Odoratas - ample-petaled,whitish-pink flower lilies
Bobbing in the reverberating melody and cyclicity of undulated waves

Bloomed

The streets where I grew up on was no place for the weak or disenfranchised to be
born. For just like the Venus fly trap it could eat you alive or crush your dreams. From the
time you awake until the sunrise in the east? The dessert fox was on the hunt, looking for an
easy meal to eat. This was no place for a single mother to raise a young boy into a man… if
she didn’t understand the laws of the dessert her boy, surely he would become the fox’s next
meal. No mercy or redemption for foolishness, weak or the meek, because the predators
here never seem to sleep. Blind bullets from the unknown took my best friend one hot
summer day as we played a game of hide and seek. All of his mothers dreams shattered and
derailed by a nameless bullet that took her only claim to a possible future president or the
next Martin Luther King. Don’t look so surprised about what I speak, it’s was the law of this
dessert from where we came from you see? Our tears were barely dry on our cheeks. and
the dirt that was placed on his coffin just last week was not even hard yet…as we laid his
estranged father into the ground the following week. Even my sister who once voted the high
school prom queen could escape the call of the foxes that beckon her in the night, as she
chases the white rock to easy her pain. Young sisters weaken bodies litter the desserts floor
as they fall victim to foxes never ending feeding frenzy on lost souls. Soulless young black
men stand on street corners both night and day in this place I call home… waging wars on
turfs and the colors that each other ware or just because of the color of their skin, but yet
they all hold no deeds in their hands for this land they claim. Firmly I do stand here today, a
black man who somehow managed to survive in that dessert to tell this tell of a flower
planted in a place where nothing very few flowers ever grow. People see me as I pass them
by on these urban streets, never knowing that I was a black rose that had bloomed…In a
dessert were only a few flowers ever reached full bloom.

Marshland

The Marshland
In the middle of the fen where the soil is full of rotting foliage,
roots of tree from the time the land was a forest,
a dam where ducks swim and as is the way of ducks noisy in
their chatter with each other, social bird with no musicality
I mean have you ever heard of an opus titled:
“When the ducks sing in Covent garden.”
Yet they like it here and can spot a Cheney miles away and
thus avoid getting water-boarded. We used to go there
the farmer and we dug into wet soil square sized turfs
which dried in the sun and in the fall we had carts full and
primordial roots that burned brightly when snow fell outside

Winter Twitter

A frosty whitewash, whirling winter snow
smoothly shrouds a secret silent slumber.
Skies all awake, flying mosaics of row
music chirps cavort the sunset amber.
Gelid air turfs, chilled in birds of wonder
gliding through miles, unknown lands asunder.

Crackling wings flutter, snuggling in romance.
Distant forage calls, "Move till Sun is back".
Searching lakes and meadows, looks not askance.
Soaring high they perch, steer and gear in stack.
Feet tucked in wings, they roost in adhoc shack.
Coats, scarves, gloves, plummets an echelon track.

Cardinals and Bluejays, plump with fork tails.
Martins, Owls, Robins, in chorus engage.
Lens of cameras spy, beaks, wings and scales.
Moulting leafless trees, flamboys in plumage.
Willow, alder, birch, dark eyed Juncos stage.
Seeds and nuts in tree crevices, cold assuage.

Hope surviving Life....as Twitter migrates
Mystical Winter........ Marathon Flyways.

HOW THE POEM HELPED ME GROW
As a beginner to the world of poetry, I always thought that sonnets were something very very difficult only to written by people as talented as Shakespeare. This was my first attempt to write a sonnet. For one whole week, I read all details about migratory birds, and almost gained an encyclopedia of knowledge. First time i realized how difficult it was to limit your thoughts to syllables and lines, and I struggled for another week to find and use correct words, counting syllables. The poem didn't get placed, but it gave me lot of confidence to attempt writing other forms of poems.

The Masters Touch

Hot breath escape suckle ear lobes to blonde's leisure,
Teeth infuriate the neck, pinion it in pleasure,
Deep sigh's play and yield to the erotic gesture;
Body submits to arms, in seductive capture.

Crimson wet lips lewd, buoyant soft, in active blunder.
Accosted sign language, push and swipe her to wonder.
Panic, as she gets lifted in complete surrender.
Cushions merge to contours, awaiting their plunder.

Nausea and thrill stretch to engage grips and shivers.
Areolas revolt and drain tender mouth quivers,
Suckled nipples formative dewy drops in tongue licks;
Hardened globes inflated curves probe pricks and nicks.

Invading hands numbed knees resist elated snares,
Navel button coated in warmth from nostril flares,
Parted avenues tongue and palm unleashed perfection,
Mounted head crawls and glides with swelling sensation.

Waves of raptures hit by the stormy sight.
Cleavage churns tender turfs, to passion chased delight.
Thirst and joy embroil delicacy in turmoil;
Her enslaved moments perform to the Masters touch.

Yellow flower, grieving flower, pale flower,
You were burnt by the sun and the hot rain.
Ripe flower, matured flower, immaculate flower,
You've indeed kept your phenomenal beauty sane.

The half-yellow and the half-green leaves
Are trying to mimic your beautiful color.
Mother Nature and Fauna are profusely in tears,
Squirrel and Nightingale are in a state of horror.

Flower of one of the most solemn and romantic seasons,
Your exceptional beauty merits great admirations
And your sweet and delicious sap is beyond words.

Flower, I'm coming tonight to rest on your turfs,
To contemplate the spots, the stars and the sparks,
The stranded branches and the rods floating in the parks.

Adorable Friend the Canvas Is Alive

My heart is like the dewy rainbow,
Endless in its riot of pretty colours,
Infinite, in parallels of beauty rows,
Forever Mirror images stretching out,
Like a river’s edge, never to meet.

There can never be forgotten dreams,
Memory walks on the turfs of love,
Immortalized: in resonance with music.
Are these timid steps of a lover’s dance;
Vibrant forms, united in love and beauty.

Mona-Lisa, I hear whispers of the pen.
Abrasions: On the sweetness of that smile.
Slayer of hearts: O! softness, of the Rose.
Stab my heart with a Pen-pal story lore?
It bleeds red as the lips, shadows watch.

Life is so short, paths strewn by rose thorns
The canvas comes alive in primitive desire,
Eve’s apple straying her thoughts to doom.
Enchanting is love, will she smother it away?
There are no ends to estacy or love: dear Friend

Step lightly, like the wind in wild aroma.
Dwell awhile, let me caress those hand,
Feel the rave warmth in your closeness,
Blend this moon in shadows, to my soul,
Adorable, I still lookout for the twinkling eyes.
